As for the solution...I buy the Walmart version of Renu in the double packs. They're the same as Renu for wayyy less, even with coupons for the Renu. I think the double pack is around $4.38.

I can only speak for ours, LG Tromm frontloaders. The gas dryer looks like the door could be reversed, but the washer definitely can not (hinges on the left). Our laundry room was designed for the washer to be on the right, but I used longer hoses to allow washer to be on the left so the doors opened away from each other. Just remember to always leave the washer open when not in use, to allow it to dry out completely.

(It was from a website complaint I filed, they gave me 10 bux :) ...pays to complain I guess) They had it for $68 there...but now $87 The best part, you can add up to a 16GB micro sdhc card to have a 24 GB player.

There are choices for FREE dvr service from a stand alone dvr. I have 2 Philips dvr's (3455H and 3575H) but the newest model # is the 3576H It will record only 1 show at a time, but while that is happening you can watch a dvd or a show already on the hard drive. It also has a neat function, you can watch a show faster than normal...like 1.2X if you like to zip through stored shows. You can still understand everything completely. It will NOT record in HD, but will pass through the HD signal to the TV while watching an HD channel and even upscales. There is no monthly fee like Tivo, but you don't get all the Tivo stuff either.
