  4. Not usually...as AM needs a large antenna...FM just uses the earphone cord as the antenna. Think of the old AM/FM walkman cassette player...that would be the size needed to have an AM antenna in an MP3 player.
  5. whatever you decide...make sure you get what is called a "binding estimate". Without that, a company can charge you whatever they feel like and you will have to pay to get your stuff back. http://moving.about.com/od/hiringamovingcompany/a/binding_estimat.htm
  6. TOTAL shipped = $1,177.86 @ Amazon with 18 month no interest financing...
  7. I have probably done THAT more than I have posted here. Of course, it may have something to do with the liquid refreshment I have had during the course of that evening...
  8. No, it means something totally different. :) But anyway... GO Pack GO!!!!!
  9. sure does, sort of You need a friend code to actually play a friend, but you can search for matches online (if you have the Wii networked)
  10. 10 years old, wood set, from Menards..looks same as it did new after a new stain this past summer. The plastic swings, handles, chains are another story. They have faded/rusted after 10 years, but that is going to happen no matter what type of set you have. We have replaced 1 slide (have 2 on the set) because it cracked in the winter when they decided to run up it when it was below 0. If I remember correctly, we paid about $600 back then, plus what we added over the years...rock climber, rope climber & new slide. Unfortunately, they don't use it as much now as back then. That being said, I would still recommend a wood set that you build yourself. I searched and found a post I made way back, that included a pic of our set. http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=35552&highlight=swing+set

  15. Same here...I am really not a good bowler(in real life...maybe get 130 to 150), but I (the Dude) am a PRO bowler on the Wii
  16. Cut some of the fiber out of your diet & save money by buying "regular" toilet @ Lowes
  17. T-mobile no daily usage fee 10¢/minute $100 card is 1000 minutes...good for 1 year... after you spend $100...any card you add last 1 year, you just pay a higher per minute fee with the cards under $100.
  18. Yep, FedEx just left my 19" Sharp LCD on doorstep, rang doorbell and left. I am amazed no signature was needed... Note to self, next year..look on neighbor's doorstep for really good black friday deals 3 to 5 days after BF
  19. Make it obvious if you think the carrier may miss it. Put a small bow or some ribbon on the envelope. As for the trashman...If he is a lousy collector, don't tip. I try to hand it to ours, since he never leaves the truck.
  20. The sub SHOULD give the tip to the regular (the regulars do "take care of" their subs), but who knows if that always happens. If you are curious as to whether the regular got the tip, casually ask them if they had a nice holiday or if they have used what you gave them yet. You will then at least know if the sub is honest. BTW, most regulars will leave a thank you card in your box when you do tip them with anything. Any gift is always appreciated...and I know carriers who have received a crisp $100 bill every year...that $20 rule is the "official USPS" policy...but rules were made to be broken. right?!! I have never heard of a carrier being disciplined for accepting a tip over $20.
