dunno, but my wife uses the mixer to smash them...I always remember having a potato smasher (that's what we called it anyway) as a kid and using a lot of elbow grease to smash them up really really good.

online so far... 3 video games and 1 dvd from amazon 1.5 TB hard drive from newegg now... on my way to walmart to try to get a portable basketball backboard, so I can return the one I bought on turkey day @ kmart and save $60. in and out in 20 minutes...got the $99 backboard and 2 NCAA $5 basketballs :) returned the backboard to Kmart, then grabbed 2 more video games from best buy and 1 from walmart this afternoon...WOW! BB was still very crowded @ 2PM! bought my 3 pc virus scan program for next year from frys.com (Free AR), and another video game and a wii motionplus and some BB gun oil on amazon.com.

Look for BR sales...if your BR player upconverts, you will see a little better quality on those regular dvd discs. just my personal opinion...dvd's are good enuf quality, buy BR for those "special" or "favorite" movies only if you want to. I will add, we only own 2 BR dvd's, but own over 500 "regular" dvd's

$20/lesson? That is on the high end. we pay $68/month...even if there are 5 days of lessons/month...assuming 1 lesson/week $17/lesson is a better number to look for :)

Look at MusicGoRound or other used resale centers for used drum set, guitar & amp. http://www.musicgoround.com/ http://www.musiciansfriend.com/ I would suggest ebay, but it's hard to spend that much money and not see it before buying, when you can go into these type of stores and play the instrument before buying. You could always look at craigslist too. My 13 year old son bought an Ibanez electric used @ musicgoround 2 years ago (never plays it) but he does play the bass guitar we bought him this year...mostly because he uses it for Jazz Band at school and we have him in private lessons for the bass. We bought a brand new Ibanez 4 string bass with a gig bag, cable, practice amp and dual guitar stand for a little over $300.

That's another thing...we have had the TRU credit card for 10 years or more, and have never received one piece of ad mail from TRU. I have asked at the stores, emailed, and called... and still don't receive any of their mail offers.

My wife went, did NOT get the $20 card but did get the $45 card for buying 3 games. I told her to argue the fact that it says in the ad...BONUS gift card for rewards card members. Think about what bonus means..."in addition to", it does NOT mean "or" . When someone receives a Christmas bonus, they still pay you your regular paycheck, correct? ...gonna fire off an email to TRU and complain about the ad being misleading.
