I don't do rebates either. All I have ever gotten was cheated.

I have to work on Thanksgiving so I am not sacrificing my family time for any sale. I am going to think long and hard at which early opening I go to, if any

This ad is all over the internet. It wasn't pulled. I hope I don't have to work on Thanksgiving because I think I may go and get that tablet. That will free up my BF for other things. I am glad that they are keeping the B1G1 Free toy sale. I wait every year to stock up :) I keep them for last minute birthday presents

I am happy with my annual mall gc.

Past year's memories.... anyone have pics or stories?
BFQueenofNY replied to brinak2005's topic in 2011
I brought my neighbor with me and she had never done BF before. She was so excited about standing in line for things :) She was able to get her ds an $89 Nintendo DS and was so excited. She called up her family and had them come meet us. then we all went out for breakfast. Sometimes it's nice helping make fun memories for other people as well. It doesn't always have to be about pushing and shoving..although sometimes that's fun too <giggle> -
I played. My final was the convection oven for $39

walmart associate told me they will not let you put items that will be on sale for BF on layaway. You can go and try and put it on layaway and if they refuse, you have your answer.

When does each store's BF ad typically get leaked? Find out here!
BFQueenofNY replied to Brad's topic in 2011
do you think that all the stores with layaway and early openings may push the ads leaks closer to bf? -
That would be huge. I have been waiting a good while for this......

I just like that it signals the beginning of the holidays...well ok I also like the chase -
I have to admit that I feel the same way. Our TRU line was so long that by the time I got in the store after waiting hours just to get through the doors only to find everything I wanted gone, I has wasted so much time and energy that it threw off my whole trip. The 12am items need to be REALLY worth it. I am not wasting my Thanksgiving Day.

Did anyone buy any? I bought 2 but they ended up both being the blue penguin and no one showed up at the "swap" day. If anyone is interested in swapping for one, I'll take either of the others no difference. Pm me

12am opening means no sleep at all. last year I went almost 24 hours with no sleep. But...I love Macy's....

1. According to recent polls, most of these people have no idea what they are standing on line for, let alone do they realize it's raining. 2. You remember the plan right? Knock over the people on the OTHER side of the door first, right.... 3. <cry> I have been standing inline for three days and now they tell me this is not the line for the pedi eggs my wife wanted for Christmas????She is going to kill me -
Now would be a good time to go through your stuff and make sure you have all your loyalty cards. BF (and the ensuing holiday season) is a good day to get out and use them because alot of stores (Borders was HUGE for this) offer extra perks to those that use them and worst thing in the world is to get to the head of the line thinking you have it, and can't find it or lost it.

Now that we live in Florida there is one by me and it has some handy dandy treats for the hubby here...hmmmm

I get sales all year long and where I live it is out of the way from everything else so it has to be a REALLY good deal for me to travel away from everything else for the morning

Walmart brings back layaway but NOT on Black Friday
BFQueenofNY replied to speeddiva's topic in 2011
Ihe worst part is that none of the little specifics I listed are on the sign anywhere. I had to ASK questions for the answers. I was curious since it had a lot of steps (item had to be at least $15, from specific dept, etc) to start with.
