Funny I was thinking about this topic this morning as I was in Target with the pjs, movies and certain toys (keyboard, air hockey table, art table) still at BF prices and still piled in the same places not moved and not selling. I even shopped Old Navy BF this year at 10am Friday and 4 people were on line. I did do well in Crazy 8 (gymboree store) with no line. I didn't even bother with TRU

I have just started working on making sure that I have updated all my store reward cards and checked the box that makes sure I get coupons emailed.

5pm is a touch early for me. I, too, will be eating dinner. If TRU has infinity for that price, so does Walmart and Target.

I bought 3 of the glass quart size pyrex with lids for $2.50 each, I bought 2 purple light for 2.25 and 2 multi lights for 1.75. I bought a few serving tools from the 50% off dollar spot for Thanksgiving and a few Star Wars Play and Go sets for the next couple of car trips. I doubt the solar stuff is going to last, but I will try back Monday morning and then also check out the remaining cake pans.

normally it is the weekend after Thanksgiving. This year we are going to go and cut down our own tree (if we can get a permit) which should make the whole thing even more fun

Well I work retail but I work in grocery, not the Walmart supercenter type. I don't know how that works, but we volunteer for shifts and there are some people that wait all year for the holidays for extra money. You would be surprised at how many people we help who have burned their dinner, ended up with extra guests, or are alone and just need someone to talk to for a little while. Makes up for the mean people that come in and talk to us like we are stupid for having the job we do.

I have to work for part of the day on Thanksgiving for double time and 1/2 so there was no way I was going to give up my shift. After we eat, I just sit there and entertain the in laws. I'd rather go shopping. Helps me exercise off the food I ate.

About 5 years ago I got a great deal off ebay. Just this past year some of the lights blew out and I was able to replace them.

IDK I bought 2 Nook HD+'s for $149 when they were on sale for my DS 9yo and DS 11yo. I got 2 16 mb micro sd cards on clearance at Target, and forgive me, as I have no idea about what these things are supposed to do, but they seem to do what they need and they can read books on them for school as well. A few apps won't work because of the operating system but not very many.

When I lived in South Florida, the closest mall was packed with kids from early evening on until morning and the stand alone stores had ridiculously long lines from the time dinner ended on. Here in the South west, BF is enjoyable again LOL I do not have to leave my house at 4pm to get on line. I always get parking at Walmart and the lines are nothing compared to Florida NOTHING.

for me...I need a new vacuum desperately. I am hoping to fight for a fairly good one at a reasonable price. Also this year I am going to fight for some good blu ray movies. I need queen size sheets and then fight the crowds for things for other people LOL

I like the 3 piece comforter set for $20. Makes nice extras for the house when guests visit

I just put a new bicycle and Skylanders swap force along with 2 3pk people on layaway today. It is already sold out in my local Target and one Walmart so I am not waiting for low prices. I need availability LOL

today as I was doing my Walmart layaway the associate and I were talking about BF and even she said that it's really just a Thanksgiving eve sale now

I would love to see a LEGO Death Star on a BF sale. My son would be the happiest child on earth.

In our house your stocking gets a new toothbrush and I usually find odd and ends from clearance racks and small toys and candy but everyone's stocking gets $5 worth scratch off lottery tickets. Everyone looks forward to that more than anything else. From the in-laws on down. It is the one thing that everyone opens together hoping someone gets rich LOL

I, myself, do not like stepping on legos either which I have done quite a bit. I am waiting a bit longer because while now is the time to buy some of the smaller sets that will disappear, when it comes to Star Wars especially, they hold off until after all the clearance sales are over to bring out the season's big guns. And since Lone Ranger went clearance very quickly, Lord of the Rings is almost done, something new should be on the horizon for the holidays.

when you go to CVS and they don't take your insurance, ask the pharmacist to check their online specials. Mine got me $10 off then gave me my 20% coupon which I used with my sales and bonus bucks things.
