I was so mad went to Penneys and bought the razor even though the price was the same!

However, the code 459 for 15% off does work on those extra soft thermal TNF Denali's which brings them down to $85, w/ Free Ship and no tax for me!! I thought it would be cool to start a thread for deals on Gift Cards. I am not talking about Ebay or Craig's but promo deals restaurants and stores are running on GC's this year. (Maybe the mods would even make it a sticky?) I noticed that my local Applebee's is running a special where if you buy $50 in GC's you get a $10 bonus card. Also, Lowe's is having a special for every $100 GC you buy you get a $20 GC by mail (if your request is postmarked by 12/8 they are guaranteeing you will get the $20 GC before 12/24). Anyone else seen any good deals on GC's?

I was just at my Walmart and the $2 DVD's are still ringing up for $2!!!! They have a green promo sticker on them and they were near the front of the store. I got: Man in the Iron Mask, The Aviator, March of the Penguins, Alexander, and the Tenacious D movie all for $2 each!! The yellow promo sticker movies are still ringing for $6, and the red stickers for $5. My Walmart still also had a ton of the mini crockpots for $4 so I would check yours for BF leftovers.

The best advice I got was to just go out and buy the Wii Play game bc it comes w/ a remote. It is about $40 on sale at various places but you get the game and the remote so it is a little less painless that way.

Tomorrow would have been Lisa's 30th birthday, if you are lucky enough to have reached your 30th birthday or have seen your son's first day of kindergarten or your daughter's first school dance these are things that Lisa never got to experience. Consider yourself blessed.

We went last night to upgrade oldest D's phone. I was shocked how much they have gone up in the last week. The sales girl pretty much said don't buy one now. Yes, but a lot of peoples unemployment checks are bigger than my paycheck. It is hard to find anything positive when my daughter's tuition is increasing by 25% next year and my income will not be.

Got my bonus today, an email stating no cost of living increase and no merit raises for next year. Also, an additional Christmas bonus, this will be the last year of company core contributions to our 401K's. Yippee for me!

My AT&T sales guy (from the Quickfire deal of last week) was calling me and my D yesterday. Must be wanting to make a deal on the other 2 lines needing upgrade on our plan. I couldn't talk bc I was at work and D will be home this weekend so maybe we will check it out.

The Kmart Thanksgiving Day ad has them listed for 50% off. That is a big reason I will trek over to Kmart that morning, my D's dorm is apparently very cold (you would think for $6000 a year they could afford to heat and ac a little better!)
