Does anyone remember if the cell phones were included in Early Access last year? My daughter needs a new phone (kicking myself for not getting in early on the daily deal yesterday) and the Samsung with $250 GC looks good enough to me (ATT doesn't give me anything for upgrading after all lol). They had the same deal a couple of weeks ago but she was trying to get the phone she has fixed by the mall kiosk that broke it. No luck so we are stuck getting a new one.

In for the Trap Team. Question: Since that same set will be going on sale tomorrow at Walmart can I just call BB Customer Service when that happens and get a price adjustment or do I have to physically go into the store to do that?

It must have been something to do with my work internet. I was able to grab some from my phone. I haven't received confirmations yet but they did say they went through.

Anyone else having issues with the site? My card is fine but the site keeps saying they cannot process my transaction.

What kind of deals do Elite members usually have access to? I am new to BB Black Friday this year but would like to maybe get the Sony Blu Ray player, the Skylanders Trap Team, and Disney Infonity Marvel Superheroes. It would be nice to be able to check those off my list early.

My niece is at the Herkimer, NY store right now and has picked up Skylanders for Xbox and Wii for her son and mine!!!! Thanks GottaDeal! I'll be getting up early tomorrow to hopefully get a Connect Four and Doggie Doo game before work.

If you look at Walgreens, they have a better deal on iTunes cards IMO. Buy 2 $25 cards and get a $15 Walgreens card (which you could turn into another iTunes card). Might be a naive question but what do you think the odds are that they will have the 3DS XL online? It is the same price as a refurb one off the Nintendo site. I am tempted to just go with the refurb frankly.

So far Rite Aid is looking like the best ad I have seen. I am kind of into that 5 foot tall Santa. I might try to get one. DH will kill me lol. Lots of good deals on various staples and I will now have time to look for coupons for those items too.

I would like to get that Swap Force set but I can only assume it will be around that price most everywhere. I am not hauling my cookies 45 minutes to the nearest TRU at 5 pm on Thanksgiving Day.

Thinking I may hold out for the GS Luigi bundle. Our local Gamestop doesn't get much for traffic on BF and I have never had an issue getting what I want (knock on wood).

I am also looking at tablets. Thinking of one for my 8 year old and one for my 23 year old. Oldest already has a Macbook and would use the tablet only for on the go, games, and E reading. Probably Netflix too. I am thinking the new Kindle fire may be good for her. I definitely want Android for the large availability of free books on the Google store (she is a grad student so money is tight). For 8 year old I would like something either that has a large memory so that movies can be stored on it or with the ability to add memory via SD cards. For both I was just looking at the Acer Iconia 8" with 16GB memory on HSN.com. It is currently at $179 and seems like a good price but I am wondering if perhaps I would be better off with something else? I would love any suggestions.

Can someone explain the new Skylanders Swap Force game to me? It reads to me like you have to buy a new portal for it? This ticks me off as we already have portals for the Wii and Xbox and now we have to get a new one?

I have no idea what I am getting my kids (including my DH). I was going to get DS8 a Nintendo 3DS but when I asked him about it recently he was a little meh on the subject (he already has a iPhone4 which he uses as a touch, a regular DS that was his sisters, Xbox 360, and Wii so I guess he is techno'd out). He had mentioned a tablet once but I think with the iPhone and my Kindle (which he uses more than me) it is not really necessary. He has mentioned a TV for his room but his father and I really don't love the idea. We will have to think on it. Due to the location of his room and our Dish it is not super easy to hook him up with our existing Dish network either. I had not heard about Skylanders Swap Force until this thread. Sounds like a plan. Maybe Disney Xfinity if the game goes on sale at a reasonable price. Older DDs are 23 and 19 so probably some GC's and they can pick out some clothing items they want or whatever.

My son (7) has asked for a zebra two years in a row now. Oddly, my Dh found one on Craigslist last week! However, we are NOT getting a zebra because even though we live in the country it is all I can do to deal with our German Shepherd and her needs lol. DS also requested an Easy Bake Oven. When his Dad asked him why he said "Cause I need something to eat once in awhile!"

Yesterday my Target had Crest Whitestrips gift sets marked down to $31.98. It was a full sized set of Express Whitestrips plus a full sized 3D Whitening Mouthwash, full sized 3D Toothpaste, and toothbrush. My local grocery store has this same set marked at $48.99 so this is quite a deal especially if you have a coupon.

I miss the days when the stores would give out promos for being there early on BF. One year I got a 101 Dalmatians gift bag from Kmart, another year an Elmo tin filled with butter cookies (I still have the tin), TRU used to give a roll of wrapping paper. It was fun just to get out there for the freebies.

I hope the XBox bundle, memory card, and Vivitar digital camera are in this early sale. The TV also looks tempting. I will go sharpen the credit card just in case lol. That would be a huge dent out of my BF shopping.
