Is this an online only deal or is it in-store too? The store nearest to me is not showing as having in-store pickup at all so I thought maybe I could just go to the store and buy one at this price or close to it? ETA: I can't stand the Sears/Kmart site BTW. Just trying to look at the local ad is a chore!

Does Meijer usually have most of their BF items online as well? We don't have Meijer in our area but I have ordered from them before and been very happy with the prices.

I was at my local Big Lots yesterday and they had signs up saying that all Dirt Devil and Hoover vacuums will be 25% off on Black Friday.

So far I have not seen anything that sings to me outside of the B1G1 Dream Lites at Walgreens on Thanksgiving Day. I am looking for an XBox with Kinect but so far prices or packages are not a much better deal than if I order online through ShopDiscover with cashback. I am hoping for a good deal on Skylanders Giants (without the portal) and also hoping to at least get the battle arena somewhere but it seems to be a hot item.

Is it me or are there no deals on iTunes cards (yet)? I know we haven't seen the Target ad yet (and they had a deal last year) but WM and Best Buy also had deals last year IIRC (Walmart's was before BF). The earlier openings will make it impossible for me to go at that time since I have to work all day on BF.

Count me in as one of those who cannot stand them. I have to work on BF and live almost an hour away from the shopping and from my job (they are close together). I normally can go to the 4-5am openings and hit quite a few stores before heading to work around 8-8:30. This year it would be ridiculous for me to go to any midnight openings. I would basically be done by 3am and then what? Sleep in my car until 8? No way can I do an allnighter and then a 10 hour workday!

I also am addicted to Christmas!! I purchased a Christmas tart burner on clearance from Yankee a couple of months ago and it has been on display since the package came. Note, that same package was full of Sparkling Cinnamon and Balsam and Cedar electric air freshener refills, and Sparkling Cinnamon and Christmas Cookie vent sticks (which went right into my and DD's cars :) I went to the $1 tart sale at Yankee the other day and stocked up on all of my favorite seasonal scents: Sparkling Cinnamon (my fave), Christmas Cookie, Christmas Cupcake, Christmas Eve, Gingerbread, Gingerbread Maple I could go on...

Does anyone have any idea what the size of the bags are in the Samsonite luggage set? On their site they only have the 4 pc set, not the 3 pc.

If you are feeling crazy you can try the lottery before the show. There are a limited number of discount tickets @ $25 in the front row available for each performance. Limit 2 tickets per person, cash only by Ticket Lottery. Names will be collected 2½ hrs prior to each performance and drawn 2 hrs prior to each performance. My local Rite Aid has lots and they had the dolphin (which I had never seen before) and the panda and penguin but no zebra. You may want to check there though if you have one nearby. Also, an odd place that has them is Petsmart. My local one has a couple of huge bins, again if you have a Petsmart nearby you might want to call.

Boring report here lol...stopped at my local Dollar General. They only 1 each of the Polaroid MP3 players left. I took a look at them (looked pretty cheap) and walked away still thinking. Looked around for the $6 family DVD's and they had a TINY display with almost nothing. By the time I walked back to the front the rest of the MP3's were gone and the display removed. Went to Rite Aid and got some B1G1 Andes candies, the Lindt Truffles (no Ghirardelli's to be found), B1G2 gift bags, and some Corn Pops and Frosted Flakes (99 cents after UP reward). See? Borrrringggg...lol

Last week I purchased an HP desktop at Staples for $399 and I used the $100 recycling promo as well. The same model number HP is on sale in the BF flyer for $299 and Staples is still advertising the $100 program on their site as of today. However, my receipt reads that my recycle discount was .01 and that I paid 299.97 for the computer. However, if I bought the same computer Friday and used the recycling program I would get the computer for $199. Do you think Staples will price adjust this computer based on how my receipt reads? I think they are going to argue that I only paid $299 for the computer therefore the price is not lower on BF. Any ideas on how to argue this out? I plan on printing out the web page advertising the recycling program and bringing it with me.

My DS6 is in need of a new DVD player but I have been mulling the idea of getting him a cheaper media player with memory card slot instead since he also likes to listen to music. I would love to know opinions on these media players and whether or not you think this might be a better idea for a child of that age. I would love to have my oldest DD load it up with his favorite music and movies before I give it to him on Christmas. TIA

No Best Buy for me either! Since Circuit City closed it is even worse. You have to get to ours around noon on Thanksgiving in order to get a decent place in line. I avoid Toys R US as well. It has gotten worse and worse there over the years. Normally I avoid Walmart like the plague but we have three Walmarts in pretty close proximity here and most people tell me that they are pretty well organized as far as the big ticket items being in various parts of the store with corrals and handing out maps. I normally go to Target, will definitely hit Sears at some point, and Victoria's Secret is a staple since I have teens that love the Pink merch.

I have three children so I go to the store almost every day but thanks for the suggestion. I cannot stand doing much typing on a laptop and hate using the touchpad so a desktop is better suited to my needs. DH has a desktop in his office and the rest of us all have netbooks or Macbooks (although I find my iPod touch is all I need for on the go). Guess I will have to wait and see what the rest of the ads bring.

I see tons of notebooks and netbooks in the flyers but nary a desktop!! I bought my Dell in 2004 and it still works ok but it won't even run my new HP printer lol. I am DYING for a new one! Waiting and hoping for something in the Staples ad as Best Buy around here is a madhouse.

Once, several years ago they had a BF sale where all redlines were an additional 50% off. Then next year I went in on BF and asked what their BF deals were and they said "We are not having any BF deals, just our regular, everyday low prices". Needless to say I have not gone back there on BF!!!
