Walmart really needs to get their act together. It's not like selling iTunes cards for less than the face value is a new thing. Target did it last year on BF and with no issues what so ever.

Just go back from my Walmart. It was shockingly empty! Lots of TV's and laptops being sold though. The iTunes cards would not go through either. However, the staff was amazing and did their best to hustle and finagled a way to get them to work. In the end I ended up with 4 $25 cards instead of 2 $50!! That is even better! They decided to run them all through one register to make balancing out at the end of the day easier.

We have one opening in our area this week. I am really surprised at the nice things they carry and for great prices!

I received a tiered coupon in the mail yesterday that is good through the end of November. I also received my $10 birthday reward card so I am pretty excited to use them on BF and get the tote of goodies too! Usually there is a a deal on Pink merchandise like certain sweats for $25 each, pajamas on sale, I think I got a nice cheap robe last year. I actually find Aerie's BF sale to be a lot better.

I went to my local Target last night looking for the Flip Mino HD cameras but they were locked in the cabinet and marked down only to $119. There was no one in sight to unlock the cabinet. Does anyone think there is a chance they will scan lower if take the trouble to go back?

tnkrbel, I have found that the best results come with using the Starbucks pods with this machine although I have had good success with loose grounds as well. Unlike the steam machines you have been using this machine does not have to cool down in between shots, you can take the basket off right after brewing with no danger.

This is the best espresso machine I have used yet and the price is very right for a pump style machine. I am sure there are better out there but for the money this one cannot be beat. I saw those Paper Jamz at Walgreens. They had one to try out but I could not figure it out for the life of me. Still, my DS5 would really like one but I wish they made a KISS version because he loves KISS. Speaking of which, does anyone know if any of the Guitar Hero games or Rock Band games have a version with more than one KISS song?

I am hoping that this year I will finally find a suitable replacement for my artificial Christmas tree. For the past 3-4 years I have hunted for the perfect replacement but there is never quite the perfect one (too pricey, no multi colored lights, not full enough). Other than that I am hoping Target runs a good deal on Itunes cards like last year. I will also be hunting for Wii games (cheap ones, also a good deal on the Balance Board and/or Rock Band), maybe a DS for my DS (old version will be fine for him). And my netbook just died so it would be nice to get a cheap one but I don't think I will camp out for it.

I don't really set a budget, just spend cash and when it runs out it runs out. Since I take two weeks vacation at Christmas and youngest DD has no ballet classes I save a bundle in gas expenses which I parlay into last minute gifts lol. One thing I do every year that I always regret is I buy way too much for the stockings. For some reason I can never appropriately judge how much can fit into those darn things!

I have had numerous issues with FedEx over the years. Everything from the package being delivered to the wrong address and never being found again to just plain slow delivery service! I live in upstate NY and when I order dance shoes for my DD from California it takes over a week if I use the FedEx shipping option but only 2 days via USPS!! I guess the days of 'when it absolutely positively has to be there overnight' are long passed.

I am so excited to see how many people are paying in cash and not getting into debt this holiday season. Both online and IRL this seems to be a growing trend and I do hope it stays that way. Myself, I have also only used cash this year (my DH has long since practiced this methodology). I am not sure what we spent, probably will be about $1500 by the time we are done and that is only for our 3 kids (ages 19, 15, and 4), my FIL, my stepfather and his wife (long story), teachers (3 dance teachers, 2 daycare providers, and 2 school teachers) and what I bought DH. I know DH will go out on his own like always and buy me things I don't need and pick up some more stuff for the kids. Hopefully he does not go overboard but we have separate money so I never really know.

IDK where you have found them but maybe wait till free shipping day on Dec 17th and order then? I know how you feel though. Nothing irritates me more than high shipping charges!
