  1. Actually I was just able to order 2!! And code WEL103 gives free shipping to orders $30 or more! I am excited to see what I get. This will make great stocking stuffers for my 2 teenage DD's!
  2. Our Butterballs are still 98 cents per pound. The Honeysuckles are the 40 cent per pound ones here. I picked up one of those for our Thanksgiving Food Drive at work.
  3. I ended up taking two 4 year olds (DS and a friend) with me so I didn't get much done. I did get DS some winter boots though and a pair of Airwalk Ugg alikes for me with some waterproofer for $31 with tax.
  4. Darn I wish they had size 4 or 5!! My DS loves his 'cowboy jeans' (Wranglers).
  5. That's awesome!! I printed out 6 and gave to co-workers and emailed the coupon to my DD in college so that she and her friends could go shopping!
  6. I am confused on the Sears deal. They will give you a $10 gc for buying a book from another store? Do you have a link for this deal?
  7. I love everything on the Alabama Christmas album!! It has been my favorite for years. The Mariah Carey Christmas album too, a compilation CD called Santa's Top 10 (available at Walmart), and all of the Very Special Christmas CD's (especially 1 and 2). I have a huge collection of Christmas music. For individual songs: The Waitresses - Christmas Wrapping, John Lennon - Merry Christmas War is Over, Paul McCartney - Wonderful Christmastime, Elton John - Step Into Christmas, Bruce Springsteen - Santa Claus Is Coming to Town, The Kinks - Father Christmas, I could go on and on and on... Right now I am listening to a burned mix CD which I love. Here is the track listing: Thanksgiving Song - Adam Sandler Hanukkah song Hanukkah song II Hanukkah song III (w/ Rob Schneider) Mr. Hanky Song - South Park (I know gross but I love it!!) O Holy Night - Cartman from South Park The Dreidel Song - South Park Kids Snoopy Vs The Red Baron (Christmas Bells) - Royal Guardsman Do They Know It's Christmas - Band Aid Angels Among Us - Alabama

  9. Thanks so much!! These are so cute! I got 2 sets for $27.93 shipped! We are planning on getting DS bunk beds for his 5th birthday in January so these sets will go great with those. He is a dinosaur freak! Now to figure out how to hide them until then!
  10. Two years ago I camped out all night at Circuit City to get a laptop for my oldest DD for Christmas. It was incredibly cold and I was alone as none of my family were crazy enough to go with me. The people next to me in line were so awesome, saving my spot when I wanted to go to my car to warm up or go get coffee at a nearby Dunkin Donuts. They even offered me pizza they had delivered to our cozy nook on the sidewalk. Ofc, as the opening of the store got closer the line jumpers started to come. I was essentially the 10th person in line but when they came to hand out vouchers everyone swarmed. They had one more voucher for the laptop I wanted and the guy handing them out yelled "last one!!" people started to reach and one of the guys that had been next to me all night yelled "You had better give it to this woman!!! She has been here all night long freezing and these people just got here!!" I got my laptop and my DD was thrilled. I will never forget how that guy was selfless enough to think of me.
  11. Thanks so much!! With an Amazon GC I had from taking surveys I actually got this for $4 and change shipped!!
  12. I received this email too but when I log into my account at VSPink.com the coupon is nowhere to be found. I emailed VS about this though so hopefully they will fix it.
  13. It let me go through with my current number (1 year into a 2 year contract) with ATT. This was for the Eternity. I also did not do the full check out though bc according to the ATT site I am not eligible for an upgrade at this time. I would love this phone though but am worried I will get stuck with a big charge later.
  14. Thanks! I got the Pre-K reading HOP and some workbooks and a game!
  15. It says shipping not available for me and no store nearby has it. BUMMER!
  16. Thanks! I am planning on renting a cotton candy machine for a fundraiser and there is a half off coupon for a rental place near me!
  17. The kids all loved the Wii!! I could have saved a lot of money on games though bc so far they play the Wii Sports Tennis more than anything. DS3 loves the Diego Safari game! He learned very quickly how to play, I love that it makes them listen closely to directions. Mario Kart has been a big hit as well. Also: DS3 - Loved his giant T Rex from Toys R Us: This was by far his favorite gift, it does nothing but stand there (YAY for imagination!!) and he makes it eat all his little dinosaurs. He loved his Nerf Vulcan gun, his Hulk hands, just about everything. I am pretty disappointed with the Leapster. The Dora Pinata game is a little advanced for the 3 year old range I think. It asks them to discern very quickly between letters and numbers. Also, the attached pen seems to be pretty useless as none of the games so far even use it. DD14 - Loved her Abercrombie clothes and purse, the Wii, Guitar Hero and Sims Castaway for DS, a big hit for her too was her Victoria's Secret Pink Mukluks DD17 -Happy to get her GPS, single serve coffee maker and hot pot for her dorm, she always loves everything
  18. Oh wow these are some cruddy gifts!! Let's see...this year kind of took the cake. My DH bought me 5 "nightgowns" and teddies from Victoria's Secret. Size medium!! I haven't worn a medium since high school! Then he has the nerve to keep asking me if I was sure they would not fit. Worst part is that he ordered from the website so all he had to do was walk 10 feet into the bedroom to check my size. Oh, and the fact that I do not at all need 5 items of sleazy lingerie. Waste of money if you ask me. Also, he bought me a very nice Kitchenaid blender so I could make him milkshakes (which I did last night ofc) and a really nice small Kitchenaid frying pan so he can fry eggs without them sticking (that is the only thing I use a small pan for). Oh and pork rinds, yeah pork rinds. And pickles, there were dollar store pickles in my stocking. I should say that he did get me a nice Kodak camera to replace the one I lost in Niagara Falls. But no memory card and all Christmas day he kept saying, "Why aren't you using your new camera?". I kept telling him that I could not take more than 4 pics w/out the memory card. I guess I deserve it. I told him not to get me anything but really there are so many things I NEED, like new sneakers, a laptop, clothes (you know the kind you can wear in public). GC's would have been awesome. I just felt like crying all day Christmas Day.
  19. My DS got this. It kept jamming yesterday and my DH realized it was from cocking it before firing it on automatic. Whenever we would do that it would jam. Since we stopped using the cocking lever before using the gun as an automatic we haven't had as many problems w/ jaming. I am a little disappointed at how the clip does not fasten very tightly to the gun. You would think it would snap in a little tighter. All in all though my son is having a blast with it. It is one of his favorite toys.
  20. You have amazing kids!! I, too, do not buy my kids a lot through the year and spoil thme at Christmas. I think they appreciate the holidays more that way. Apparently you are doing something right!! Good news is at least w. your friend's 3 and 5 year old they are happy with almost anything and don't usually have big Christmas expectations. The 17 year old is old enough to understand and probably wishes he could help out. You guys are great for helping take some of the burden off that family. I wish great things for you all in the New Year!!
