Yes I understand you should read the fine print, but Sears should also make it clear that the cards could only be used that day. I don't remember seeing that in the ad, nor any signs to that effect. If they don't reactivate it I can understand why, if the card says that, but as a customer service stand point why not let that person use their $10. They might spend $100 or $200 in your store, or they might spend it somewhere else. I'm willing to bet most people spend alot more than the $10.

Well my Sears handed out numbers at 5:45am to the people in line. Once you got a number you could go in any door. It was nice since I was standing in the middle of the line, right in front of the second set of doors. I would speak to the district manager, or the corporate office. They might can give you a discount on something you want to purchase, or reactivate the card. It does not hurt to ask.

Yep just buy 51 packages of socks and your all set. Everyone needs 306 socks don't they.

What is Sears pm policy. Can I get a gift card and apply it to a prior purchase, or do I have to return it, and rebuy it?

All mine handed out were gift cards. I bought $100 so if they were giving out $10 off $50 I would have gladly taken that instead and given the gift card to some one buying less than $50.

Well I just searched online, and they did it last year in Dec to the first 100 people so it appears this may be credible. Any here work for Sears and have a copy of next weeks ad? That would confirm it I'm sure.

I think they meant 11/24 and 11/25 Thanksgiving Day, and the day after since they are the 24th and 25th. What they should have said was no pm until 11/27. But that makes to much sense.

Have not done doorbusters at Compusa for 3 or 4 years now so the policy may have changed. They used to only give you 1 voucher for your choice of items. You could not get 1 of everything, just 1 item period. I like it because it gave more people a chance to get something.

You know the store should actually take the item back, and then check it. Then if it isn't the actual product they can send the person to jail for fraud, and theft.

Well this my sound gross, but I get mine out of the trash. I work at the airport, and people just throw them away. Did not worry about it to much this year, I mainly went for the free food. Last year I won 4 extra value meals, 30 free frostys. 5 free large sandwiches. Didn't spend a dime.

I did. It was not bad (DFW TX) Sausage egg cheese biscuit, croissant, applee danish, ham egg cheese croissant, cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit, oj, bottled water. I think thats it, but it was enough. And no I did not eat one of everything.

Sears really upset me when I got home after BF and read the ad for Saturday. "Extra 10% off". Now I have to go tommorow and get a pm because one of my items I bought was a 2day special and its now cheaper tommorow. The other item after 10% would have only been $4 more and I would not have had to go through the headache of waiting in line.

I was told by a network engineer that Seagate HDs worked the best an he should know. Anyway when I bought a Seagate drive from Fry's last year I got the rebate with little problem. I think it took a little longer, but I got it.

The prices for BF are live right now. Every item (ive check 30 or so) is online and for sale at BF prices while supplies last. Hurry and you will not have to wait in line.

If it's to cold to wait in line 5 hours don't show up that early. Show up when you think you can stand it. Unless you park your car in the line (please don't) if you get out of line to go sit in it, when you return you should go to the end of the line. Period. All you people create by doing that is a line 2 days before the store even opens. Chick Fila and a few other store prevent that by doing line checks. If you ain't in the line when they call your name, your name is off the list and you go to the back.

My hint of FAR is to mail in the rebate form the same day. That way it gets there ahead of all the others and will get processed faster. Has always worked for me.

I hope Dallas, or Fort Worth does like they do with the Sunday paper. I work at the airport, so if they do I'll be picking it up.

As long as it clearly states the price in the ad, my Walmart will match it coupon or no coupon. If its limit 1, then of course you can only buy 1 and walmart also.

I have one other suggestion here for AOL. You do not have to use it your self. You could give it to someone as a Christmas gift, or to a friend who can't afford it. Just my two cents. Or if you want to be sneaky find someone who already has it and needs to renew anyway have them do it and use their info for the rebate.

If I was in charge, I would start at 1am and give numbers to everyone in line, and only let in people who had a number, and in that order. If you tried to cut it wouldn't work because you would be held back until your number came up.

IF they want to, they CAN enforce it. All they have to do is make you "register" and show your Driver's License before they give you the ticket. I do not think they will, but do not be suprised if they do. I know in my area a lot of stores are cracking down because of the people with 10 kids bringing all of them to wait in line with them so they can get around the limit.

I know its to late for this year, but I have a suggestion for everyone to propose to Best Buy for next year. Why not allow the people who are in line for the big items ie Computers, TVs, laptops to buy them early like 2am after the get the tickets, and then take them to their car. If they want something else, then they can wait till the store opens and buy it. That way it would be easier to move around the store with all the big items out of the way, and the checkout line should be shorter to. What does everyone think?

Just be careful when you put that laptop in the freezer. If someone happens to turn on the freezer, it'll freeze up on you. I just hate when my computer freezes lol. :D
