I could have had dvd players for $15 at Radio Shack if I had wanted one.

I wish we still had Kmart I miss the 605 merchandise.

I worked at Kmart when the tickle me elmo came out. We had them hidden in the back (rainchecks I think) and had to put them in black bags to keep people from fighting over them on the way out of the store.

Shrink wrap don't stop nobody in my town. The cut it off faster than they can put it on. If you do not have the item by 4:30 you are sol.

I know from experience that most stores have the minimum quantities in stock, when the merchandise arrives that is. However, by the time BF arrives, and the employees buy stuff for their family, the customers get whats left over, which is always less. All ads have the disclaimer, subject to prior sales... I know at Kmart when I worked there the whole back room was full of items we were waiting until the morning of BF to buy on sale.

Have not gone shopping yet, but am leaving soon. I think I'll check the halloween clearance at target. Last year I bought 5 boxes of cake mix for 10 cents each. I wish Kohls would run another sale where you get a $10 gift card with any purchase. Last year I bought 4 wash cloths at 60 cents each and got $40 in cards. Not bad for $2.40.

I would get a 50 gallon rubbermaid tote, and a creeper (square thing with wheels on the bottom) and place the tote on the creeper and wheel it around the store. That should work. Or you could get a dolly from home improvement and use that.

Many stores yes. I have done it at Circuit City before. Some stores do not have the BF price listed on the website, but you can still purchase it and select pickup in store, and then go before the sale ends and get that price.

And 75% off monster cable. That stuff is never less than 50% off, even at employee prices. I hope there is not a limit because there is money to be made on ebay with monster cable. It can be sold 50% off MSRP all day long, and thats still a 50% profit.

I remember 3 or 4 years ago Dillards did that during the summer and noboday cared I guess. I went through 3 different doors and got three cards. I used to go to Foleys every year to get one, but they closed that store, and the others are to busy. I got two gift cards from Foley's as well.

Did anyone else happen to notice, in that email is most of the BF add anyway. Sears is asking it to be pulled, but it is in full view in the mail. And you get 10% off then to. Granted its not the early bird specials, but what I want is in there.

I take pictures of what I submitt, and if there are any questions, I email whomever the pictures and it gets solved. I will not submitt by mail more than once. I will either fax or email the second time, and I will insist, with good success the rebate be expedited the second time and I get it within 2 weeks. I only have to do this one out of 10 or 20 times though.

If its really worth it, then I will wait in line. I will not wait in line for one of 10 cheap items because its not worth it, but if there are 50 I might chance it. My favorite place I have found to wait in line for is Chickfila grand openings. Its not BF, but if you are withing the first 100 in line you get free food for an entire year a $300 value. Thats worth 8 hours in line for. I try to be smarter than waiting in line now if I can. I go 2 or 3 days before, and find the item and hide it, and come back and by it, or I buy it online. One year I had someone at CompUsa hold and item for me until it was on sale that evening.

Ace is the best place for rebates. I would spend $1000 on stuff if I needed it, and it was free. I sent one in last year, and got it in less than 3 weeks. I sent one in this summer and got it in 2 weeks no kidding. I get paid faster through them than my employer lol. Go for it.

Some one breaking the line and causing a fight is a sale the store can live without. Its cheaper to lose the sale, than the lawsuit from the person getting hurt. They are responsible for what goes on in that line.

Why would sears worry about someone undercutting their prices. Most of their producst are Craftsman and Kenmore, and you can't get those anywhere else. I found a few things in there I was not planning on buying, but am now. They are getting $300 in sales because the add was posted here. If they force it to be removed I might reconsider where I do my shopping.

I wish I still had Kmart here. Then I could get the ads, because I knew in my area where they kept all the ads. It my area they always kept them in the layaway department. You might go to your Kmart and nose around back there and see if you can find a stack of brown boxes full of ads. The have dates on the boxes so just look for 11/25. Hope someone gets lucky.

I guess it would be hard to do with a large crowd, but if I managed such a store I would kindly escort that person to their car and tell them to leave. If you can't follow the rules you shouldn't be shopping on BF.

Well in Texas we have that new Concealed handgun law so I know I won't even think about it. You never know whats hiding in a jacket or a purse.

Since more and more stores are offering the ability to buy online and pickup instore I am going to try that more this year. Sears and Cirucit City are to large ones I know that do this. You can buy the day before and pickup/pay the next day at the BF price. It has worked well at Cirucit City in the past. Since the items are already "ordered" you just go straight to pickup and you don't have to mess with the large crowds unless you want to.

Its all in how you do it, and how you perceive your job. IF you do not let the angry customers get to you, and you do your job well' BF is just like any other day. Many years ago I worked at K-mart for 3 years, and went through 2 BF days. I actually liked it, because since you were busy the day went by so fast. When its slow the day drags on forever.

Circuit City may not price match, but you can buy the item online the day before ie Thanks Giving and select instore pickup. You can then be assured its instock and ready for you and all you have to do is pick it up. You get the BF price online also. I've done that two years now.
