Has anyone called Dove? Looks like we need a sponsership agreement with all this support we seem to have.

I use what ever is on sale or fac (free after coupon) lol. IT all works.

Well I would not put all the blame on Home depot only about 75%. From the store's point of view they do not want to get stuck with the loss, so they have to contact the shipper who must then inspect, determine liablity, pay and last pick up the item. With all that said what the store should have done in the mean time is ship you a replacement item which they did not do.

Omaha Steaks is for real. I worked at UPS for a year, and that is how they ship in my area. I saw thousands of boxes go thru this time of year when I was there. My local branch for them is in dallas, tx. I guess these boxes must be packed with dry ice considering how they are shipped. I have never tried them though.

I hate to sound cheap, but why not Saran plastic wrap?? It comes in 5 or 6 colors or at least it used to, and most stores carry it.
-
What site?? No link listed.

Have not bought wrapping paper in 7 years. Stocked up for 10cents a roll at Kmart one year. Still have plenty.

Alright let me be more specific. I also look at the bottom of my screen to see where its going.

Best Buy is usually good about that. I have bought products before (not on bf, cellphone to be specific) and they had a free gift card offer a week or two latter, and they gave it to me. It was mail in, and they reprinted the receipt with a new date and everything. Always ask. The worst they can say is no.

It is not all items. The only items that "qualify" are items that have little profit anyway. Computers, printers, monitors have less than 10% margin most of the time anyway. The things that have the most margin are cables, and accessories, and those are only 10% off. That $20 printer cable only cost $2.90 to the store where as that $200 printer cost $175. The company I work for used to have a corporate agreement with Compusa for 10% over cost so I know. The sale in my area is only 7% over cost as I heard the ad over the radio the other day. The only item I see is home entertainment that you might see savings on, but my store does not sell TVS or stereos.

I will not click on any links in any email unless the address is clearly spelled out like www.suchandsuch.com even if I'm expecting it and know who it comes from. You can never be to careful. Always, always type in the address as you never know who is trying to phish or scam you these days.

wow!! what a deal on that Chaise Lounge. Regular $109.99 on sale for the low low price of $112.09. I'll take ten lol

I know from when I worked at Kmart, RCA/GE made terrible tvs. They were always being returned and repaired and resold. I made the mistake of buying one that had been "refurbished" for 1/2. Got 8 years out of it before it died, but the picture was never quite right. You get what you pay for I guess.

FYI I also do mysteryshopping for a hobby, and home depot is one of the companies I could shop. I choose not to because my other hobby is eating, so I mainly do restaurants.

Wish I had an Eckard's here. I will check at CVS just to be sure though. That Norelco 6863xl is the one Sears had for $34.99. If I can find it cheaper I'll but it and take it back to Sears since I've already used the one I bought at Sears. -
Thanks I'll look. I tried in vain on Saturday and Sunday to find additional coupons, but in the 12 papers I rifiled through, no smart source to be had. I work at the airport, so lots of papers get tossed, but I guess someone beat me to the coupons. I'm off the Kroger to look for blinkies, pullies, or dropies. PS what happens when I use a $1.50 coupon on a $1.00 item? I guess I should buy two because most stores here "keep the change" and won't pay you to shop.
-
Don't forget the skippy peanut butter. Walgreens has it for $.99 and there is a $.35 coupon in the paper for that also. PS does anyone know of any major stores that have the "blinkies" coupons for the deodorant or in a coupon can be had online. Thanks.

I would suggest to always call the repair department before making a purchase. They can tell you which brands the always see coming in, and which brands never need repair. Working at Sears, I'm sure you got a great view of how great or not so great brands were.

Last time I checked my homedepot still had several of them at $99.99. You might try and see if your local home depot has any, or if any stores have any. The one's my HD ran out of were the ryobi. The would not sub the ryobi they did have, because it had a case and two batteries, so I told them "keep the case and extra battery" and I'll buy the rest for $29.97 and they did. What is home depot going to do with a case and battery?
-
You might also try going to Starbucks and find someone who is buying something. Offer to sell them your Gift card for $15 and see what they say. They might buy it, and then you get something, and they get something.
-
What you should do if you can is wait until Kohls has another $10 coupon sale, and then use your coupons. Then you get more coupons to use.
-
I would offer a comprimise with Kodak. Tell them you will buy the screen, or pay for the labor, which ever is cheaper if they will fix it. If you can't get it fixed you should still be able to use it like a regular camera without a few finder. My DC has one, but I never use it.

UPS unlike Airborne Express (now DHL) is usually very fast. They deliver it as soon as possible no matter what service you pay for. Airborne Express once took 3 days to deliver a hard drive to me from Maxtor. It was coming from 30 miles away. You explain why it takes 3 days to drive 30 miles. I could have walked there and back in that length on time. When you ship with them ground they mean it. Its going to take that long no matter what.

UPS will not leave a package on my doorstep no matter what. The say I live in a "non driver release area" and I have gone up to the district manager to have packages deliver to no availe. I rarely get packages delivered that are expense or anyone would want. I wish they would just live them since he always delivers at 5-6 pm and I'm never home.
