I have often thought of walking up and down the line with a cooler of cokes and candy bars for sell. Or maybe some coffee. Anyone think it might work or be profitable?

FYI I called Norelco, and the one at Sears is exactly the same as the one at Best Buy, just a different number. So why pay more at BB for the same thing? Buy it at Sears I am.

I have a 16oz can full of hot air. Anyone want to buy it?

I do that for really great items. I have the rebate send to my mother, my father, my grandmother, etc. It can usually even be in your name, just a different address.

Not impressed either. Best Buy has a cordless razor for $27.99 3 per store, and sears has the exact same razor for $19.99, and is not limited to stock on hand. I will be at sears anyway so guess who I'll buy it from.

Radio shack outlet had some for $50. Sold out fast though.

I sure would hate for the post office to accidently deliver them early. Hint HInt.

I will be there by the time it opens, but unless its a really nice night its not worth $10.00 to spend several hours there. My sleep time is worth more than that. It takes about $50 now to make it worth my time. I would have 5years ago though.

You do not have to be certified, but if you are in an area with lots of shoppers it helps. Alot of companies do assign shops to certified shoppers first.

No, in the above thread it states: Since the event will be held after regular store hours the special event prices will be loaded into the registers. NO SHOPPING PASSES OR COUPONS WILL BE NEEDED TO ATTEND.

The monster cables sears has for 75% on family night. Those rarely sell much less than 25% below retail. $100 cable bought for $25 sod for $69.99 is a good profit.

The only store I have found the will sell $0.01 merchandise is Home Depot, and that is if they have not already pulled and destroyed it. If its on the shelf they will sell it, but you have to find it before they do. I get lucky sometimes. Right now they have door hinges by national manufacturing, and DURHAM brand water putty for $0.01 and several other things I can't remember. I could only find the hinges at my HD and bought a case.

I think the Scanner at Radio Shack for 1/2 is a good buy. I don't think I can buy much for anyone else, because I have several items on my list for my self already. I guess I'm going to have to call myself Scrooge.

You never have to be a member to buy at sams, but non members pay 5% extra on everything. Not really a big deal unless you buy something like a computer that cost $1000. If you just shop that one day pay the 5% or bring a friend who is a member. You would have to spend $900 before the 5% charge = cost of $45 membership.

Actually the ad should read Computer $599.99+$300 Aol fees ($24.99*12 months) - $250 rebate = $649.99. Some deal huh!! And you better hurry because you only have 1 minute lol.

Remember if you do actually find anything you want, just select pickup and they will reserve for upto 72 hours at the store of your choice. That way its instock when you get there.

All I usually want at Walmart are small items. I grab them, and go hide them in the store somewhere. Then I do my other shopping and come back to Walmart about 10:30 when the lines are gone, grab my items and check out. Works great.

So did I. The closest one now is about 200 miles away and I'm not going there.
-
No, I was going in that direction anyway so I stopped by. I could not find it on the shelf so I asked, and the employee showed my on the computer where it said DO NOT SELL, and was nice enough to lookup every store in this area, and they all showed 0 in stock. I guess I could look in the dumpster lol.

I just saw a dell commericial for $399 desktops. Don't know the specs, but it looks like the price wars are starting.

I don't know now, but Kmart used to have the best Layaway policy and boy did people abuse it. They would by summer merchandise ie patio sets and grills, at the start of the season, and paid the minimum they could to drag out how long it was in there. Then when they went on clearance for 50% they got a pm and took it out. They did that with all clearance stuff.

Just checked at Staples, and the sku is correct. The store in my area said it was a "destroy" item and could not be sold.
-
If they ask just say Lisa at store # such and such. The have no idea who works at any store but that one. Any name and store number will do. Sears has the store numbers on the top of the receipts if you really wanted to put in the effort. At my Sears everone's a teenager and could really careless. Edit: I just thought of something I am good friends with someone who retired from Kmart, so I guess I do know someone.

I did a search on Staples.com and it came back with a sku of 496703. I am going to take this into the store and confirm if its correct and if they have any since its oos and still regular price on the website. The description seems to match though.
