  1. Just ask at the service desk and they should give you one. Of course if you are just going to look, find someone and say I'm with him after he goes in.
  2. Some one's going to be real disappointed you found their buried treasure. Great for you.
  3. Wow. I had to look at regular sD while I was on Newegg, and you can get 4gb for less than $100. I can't believe you can store so much on something so small. I may be upgrading my 256mb card to 4gb soon.
  4. Find someone who has a book and use their card number. Its so late in the year now they probably won't use it anyway if they have not already.
  5. Check Samsclub, and check mattress giant clearance centers. I was told be an employee when I bought my last mattress, that most mattresses are marked up 200%. I verified this last year when my mother bought a new mattress, the store had the price book laying on the counter... oops. She got hers 50%, and still paid twice what the store did. Moral if it aint half off or better, shop elsewhere your getting ripped off. Sams and Costco usually have much lower margins though.
  6. You should not have more than one or two of those power supplies that fill fit. Just plug it in and if it turns on it is most likely the right one. If you accidently plug it in with the wrong one, it will either not turn on, or it might blow the tiny $1.00 fuse inside that is easy to replace.
  7. The last couple of days they have had a one-page add for this sale. I have not seen any really fantastic deals though. I'm hoping on Friday when the big ad usually comes out it will be better. So far no "while supplies last" kinda sales but I'm hoping.
  8. I got the first check right away maybe 4 weeks later. The second check took a little longer, but I got it maybe 10 weeks after I sent it in.
  9. People are allowed to make mistakes you know. I once tried to buy a house that was listed for $795. Needless to say, I could not buy it at that price. Sure tried though (not to hard).
  10. Not the most honest way to save. And what is that poor cashier going to do when her drawer comes up $36 short? Good savings though.
  11. 10 for $4 is $.40. -.55 and $1.00 = $2.45 or .25 cents each.
  12. After you print them, just go to Kinkos and copy them a few times. You can have as many as you want.
  13. Walmart around here will match a buy one get one, or 50% off if the original price is clearly stated in the add. The reason being is stores inflate the regular price so they can have a sale. For example if pizza is on sale for $4.99 at store x bogo and Walmarts price is $3.99 they will match to $2.50 for each one making it the same price. They won't bogo their $3.99 price.
  14. I have looked around and many places will give you a good deal for 10 stickers, but will only include one CD. I would need 10 stickers and 10 CD's in around the $110 each price range. Can you not burn 9 extra cds? If you get a license for 10, it is legal to have 10 cds. If you do not have a cd/dvd burner why not find a friend who does and burn 9 cds. Or try a major library, or university as they sometimes have cd burners. Just a thought.
  15. Try a search on google. I'd say stores based in North Carolina, or Missouri where the tax is cheaper would be a good bet. Or you could try finding someone in NYC who "smuggles" cigarettes in from North Carolina
  16. Try finding a store going out of business. I know of a lot right now, Mervins, Office Max, May stores (in certain areas), and see if they have one. They usually have coin counters for counting their registers, and sell all of their "fixtures" when they close. They might sell you one cheap if they have one. Never hurts to ask.
  17. One thing I can say about Dillards is DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THURSDAY!!!!! They start marking down on Tuesday, sometimes Wednesday for the sale on Thursday. By then, as least in my area, the good stuff is picked over. Wait a few weeks after it hits 50% if your waiting on 75% and then check every Tuesday and see. I have not gone much this year as I have a closet full of stuff. Just ask, and they will tell you what is going to be marked down that week. Two years ago, I bought 2 Nautica Shirts Reg $49 for $6 each. For summer merchandise the stores near Oklahoma City, Ok have the best deals. They have more 75% and market it down 3 or 4 weeks earlier, usually by mid July all summer is 75%. In Texas, its after Labor Day, and there is not much left. One last thing, is that Dillards is very regional. Items could vary from 25% in one region to 75% somewhere else. Oh, and ask them for the lowest volume store, and there highest volume one, and shop there. Lowest might have better selection because no one shops there; highest because they get more. Hope this helps.
  18. Grapevine Mills is maybe 30 minutes at the most from Dallas depending on where in Dallas you are. If you like Barbeque, Sonny Bryan's is good. Mexican Food, I like El Fenix. I would get a Dallas Morning News, or Fort Worth Star Telegram Friday edition. They both have sections listing all the restaurants, and shows happing on the weekend. I would defenitly go to Traders Village in Arlington near 360, and Pioneer parkway. It has lots of bargains (and knockoffs of major brands cough cough). Just be carefull what you buy, as I've seen syrup made 2 years ago for sale.
  19. The best advice, is to have her give the 6 free months to her worst enemy. The enjoyment out of that is priceless. PS if you ever sign up with AOL record the converstation, and explitily state you have my authorization to charge xxx amount until xx date. Make sure they agree with that, and have them repeat it. Then you have "fraud" and a "legal" leg to stand on when you sue them for unauthorized charges.
  20. What would be the reason to read a post if everthing was in the title? A title can not be 500 words long. A lot of the post here do not really benefit me, but I still enjoy reading them. If its such a bother, then you should go somewhere else. I enjoy reading about bargains, even if it might be at a store I don't have. PS the pizza deal in my area is $4.25 each and then $5 off. That, and at a different store they are giving away Dr Pepper on superbowl sunday (see other topic I created).
  21. Foley's, which was bought by them, closed a store in my area last year, and all the cosmetics were moved before anything went on sale. I think comestics are bought back by the companies so they always be a certain price sorta like price fixing I suppose. I have never seen cosmetics go on sale by more than a few $$s. What suprises me is the age of some of these stores. Some date back to 1967. If its been around that long, why not keep it? And a store opened in 2004? Give it a chance.
