  1. Last time I went to six flags, you could upgrade your ticket to a season pass for $35.00. It did not say there were any restrictions. This was for six flags over texas. If it were not for the huge parking charge I might have done it.
  2. Not that I know of. What I do know, is all items with an item number of -A are still active, and - C are canceled and will soon be clearanced. Items ending in .81 are usually final mark down and are below cost. Most will not be marked down past that price unless its either damaged, display, or the last one. It varies by store after it hits .81. One store used to take 30% off that price, but they don't anymore. Hope this helps. PS most Sam's have an area near the back where they sell returns, damaged and "last one's." Its the first place I go every time. You never know what you'll find.
  3. It means one store may have it, and another may not. Just think of it like putting a quarter in a slot machine lol.
  4. Not sure which area you are in, but in the Dallas, TX area the Kroger's have them for 5/$1.00 or 20 cents each. NO LIMIT!!! They are only the nestle brand though ie crunch, butterfinger.
  5. Have you tried contacting the general store manager of your store? I would hope he/she would understand, and would let you buy it for $300 in the store.
  6. Well tell them to remove the cover and then take into the factory. Or they could just cut out that spot where the stain is. They can't inspect it without opening it up anyway.
  7. I love target's clearance especially unmarked deals. Don't forget to check meat. I was looking for meat to put in my spaghetti last week and saw some Italian sausage marked 1/2 off. I scanned it and it came up 0.00 so I picked up 3 packages. When I got to the register I was asked how much and said $.35 as it was 90% off and they accepted.
  8. Please tell me they were not going to try to "fix it"? Why would they need to take it to the factory anyway? I guess flipping the mattress over so the stain is on the otherside is out of the question right? I think I would start with the attorney general's office. Or sue them in small claims court, it only cost about $60.
  9. Can't you just cancel the online order, and rebuy it in the store and pick it up. Here is the corporate switchboard number for sears in case you need it 847-286-2500. You can also try 800-762-3048.
  10. Well 10% of $1600 is $160. Add $40, and its $200 so she did it right.
  11. The best way I think to do it, is to make it fun. Let people only lineup 24hours early, and have them register when they walk up. Ask them what they want, and then give them a ticket or wristband for that item(s). Then when all items are gone, let people know, and then they can wait or not wait. Then every hour or so do a line check and make sure the person is still in line, and has not switched with someone else. This was there has to be no actual line, since people are already numbered and ticketed, and they can move around. I'd also organize some games, and play music, and hand out food during the night. Granted in might cost a little more, but everyone would be happy and less likely to fight. Set an example for other people to follow. PS I am not sure how they do it now, but I would also limit the sale to people over 18 so people are not brining their 3 year old kids with them to get extra tickets.
  12. I bought the Gateway GT5082 for $303.99. It is similar to the T6536 only it has a dual core processor, and 2gb of memory. You might see if your local BB has one of these in stock.
  13. I hope my 10% off coupon works on that tv.
  14. I would think if they still carry the item, and its not clearanced they should not give you a problem even if you returned it a few days late. Most stores have at least a 30 policy.
  15. I pays to have the printouts. I love HD and Lowes PM policy. They match, plus take 10% off. If they both have the same item, I go to the one who has the higher price, and then buy it 10% cheaper after the PM. PS Off topic, but Lowes does have carpet in their BF ad.
  16. Rebates would be good if you bought it online. You can even pick it up in the store on most items after you "buy it online." If you have it shipped, you might have to find the rebate form at the store or print it yourself as they will not ship it with your item.
  17. Buy it online on Thursday and select pickup in store. It will be waiting when you get there. I have done it on several items. I think you can even pay online, so you just pick it up and leave.
  18. I already have Vonage. Does anyone know if it has to be a NEW subscription, or can I renew what I have for 1 year. A $99 laptop would be sweet.
  19. Its very hard to read, but the ad says items are available at the sale price at 12:01am Thanksgiving Day. Its in white print at the top of the first page.
  20. That is the one. Its out of stock on the website though. I know two stores in my area had it as of yesterday. You might call and ask before you go.
  21. For those who want it, on the $498 Toshiba, the item # is 593745. The stock number is PSM42U-019006. The UPC # is 003201741286
  22. If this does not belong here, feel free to move it. At my local Walmart, Lake Worth, TX, they just reset the laptop displays. There are several models on clearance from $398 to $498 and appear to be a great buy. For example they have a Toshiba m45-s2692 for $498. Not sure if every WM has these, but if they do it beats waiting in line on BF. I was not in the market so I did not buy one. A quick google search brought up a price of $849 on the Toshiba.
  23. If you don't use it much, I would check harbor freight tools, if you have one. They usually sell a similar size compressor for $60 or so although its of lessor quality. It might work also. The compressor does come with alot of attachments though like the tire inflater, a nozzle to inflate balloons etc. Edit: Harbor Freight has one for $49.99 this year, and its oil-less. The Sears one requires you to add oil.
  24. If I remember right, I believe they are only good ON black friday. I know they are good that day for certain as I used mine on BF last year.
  25. I bought this last year on BF for $84.99 sighhh. I like it. I has alot of pressure, and fills up fast. Personally I would go for a larger compressor for a nail gun unless he uses it rarely. This small compressor would cycle on and off quite a bit and would wear it out under heavy use of a nail gun. It is a very small compressor, and is designed mainly for airing up tires and using small tools like an air ratchet/gun. I would look at the $199 one if it were me. $79.99 is about $20 off what they go on sale for the rest of the year. Its a great buy.
