  1. It depends on how many app you're going to load, movies, pictures... I don't have many apps on mine, except Netflix and Candy Crush! I have rented movies on itunes and watched them while flying - it works great for that purpose. You also need to consider if you just want wifi or 4G. I have an iPad Air 2...8 GB, wifi. I use it mainly to watch Netflix and check email. I don't like it necessarily to surf the web as it can be slow, pages may not load right and can lose connection. I don't take pictures or videos with it, but it does have the capacity to do so. 8 GB is a lot of storage. My son has my older iPad and he has 4 pages of apps and still has a ton of space left!
  2. As others have posted, knowing it's location is key! If you are the first in line and know exactly where to go, I think you'll be fine!!
  3. DVDs are one of my favorite part of BF shopping. Sadly, I don't see any movies I want this year! Except for BBT - I get that every year! Anyone who hasn't seen Spy, I highly recommend it. It's $7 on BF! I've watched it about 10 times now and it still makes me laugh!! Horrible language, though, may not be appropriate for younger kids.
  4. 58 for a high and 51 for a low...can't beat that!
  5. My husband has Turtle Beach. I think Walmart has them in their ad.
  6. Yeah, I assumed as much, but we couldn't get the GAMER1 code to work, that's why she used TOYS. It said it wasn't eligible, but she used a calculator to figure out the discount and manually entered $4 off 5 times.
  7. There was a 20% off coupon if you texted Toys. It didn't work with Lego Dimensions, but the cashier manually entered $4 off 5 times, then 35% Cartwheel and 5% Red Card, which brought the total down to $45.37 with tax. I don't know if you can price match with Cartwheel.
  8. I was able to get Lego Dimensions for $45.73 including tax! Well worth the trip to Target!!
  9. Can someone please walk me through how to do this. I don't have Target close to me, so I've never taken advantage of Cartwheel, but I want to buy Lego Dimensions and stack coupons. LIST gives you 10% off and if you send a text you get an additional 100% off, correct? And then I would save 5% with my Red Card. Where do I enter all the codes? I have to do this in the store, right? It should come out to be around $55, but I want to make sure I do it all right.
  10. The past couple of years, Amazon has had them for $29.99. I always buy one as a back up controller for my husband/son. I haven't seen any so far, but confident that Amazon will have a deal sooner or later!
  11. You really take a chance in risking an item selling out by waiting for the price to drop, especially if it's popular. I would just buy it and return it later if you find it cheaper.
  12. Trying not be offended, but, just wow! I'm neither single nor low-income! Some people just like getting the best price on something!
  13. I have a Roku and honestly, have never used it for anything other than Netflix. I'm not even sure what all it can do! But it works great for Netflix! I don't think any of the streaming devices can stream NFL games. You can stream them online, but I don't think through a streaming device. Please anyone correct me if I'm wrong. I live out of state and would love to watch Steeler games instead of Colts! I usually stream the game online and watch it on the computer.
  14. I think it's only a matter of time before we're hit again. After the Paris attacks, someone was interviewed (I can't remember whom), but he said that ISIS was preparing to hit the US in the next couple of weeks...which would be in the BF time frame. I don't think it will deter people from shopping.
  15. I know many families who shop together on BF or Thanksgiving! You have to do, as a family, what makes you happy and not let the opinions of others deter you from doing something you like to do! My husband and I live out of state from our families, and we don't go home for Thanksgiving. He's the cook in the family, so he cooks Thanksgiving dinner while tending after our son, and I go enjoy what I like to do, shopping! It's our tradition, and if someone doesn't like it, well, then, too bad! It sounds to me like you have a very close knit family who celebrates a wonderful tradition!!
  16. The more I'm reading about LD, the more reluctant I am to buy it. Although it has gotten good reviews from a gaming perspective, I've also read that it's a drain on your wallet. Someone posted that they had to pay $14.99 just to unlock a level...no way around it. Anyone have this that give a personal review?
  17. I wouldn't drive far to Menard's for anything in this ad, but since I live only a few minutes away from one, I'll stop in and pick up a few items. I always buy the batteries - even with it being a rebate, it's still a good deal.
  18. We went to Universal this summer - Harry Potter was awesome!
  19. Opinions on the brand Barska?? Looking at the metal detector for my son. Thanks!
  20. Yes, the line inside the store to check out! Kohl's has never been a store I hit first, so I don't know how early people start to line up.
  21. I remember the first year of the $199 laptops at Walmart. It was before the wrist bands, so I don't know how hard it is now with the bands. But people lined up early, very early. I would just suggest you find out where they are before you get to the store. I missed out one year because they had us standing in the wrong line. By the time we got to the right department, the line was too long. People had started standing in my line that morning and didn't get one because of misinformation. That's usually one of the most sought after items.
  22. Of all the stores I have frequented on BF, Kohls stands out as having the longest line. Maybe because other stores zig zag you through aisles, so the lines aren't as noticeably long, but I wouldn't step foot in Kohls on BF if you can order your items online.
  23. I have a laser, so I can't provide an opinion on the printers, but this compares the two. http://www.digitalversus.com/printer/face-off/16931-16928-versus-table.html
  24. To catch someone doing something stupid and upload it to Youtube!
