  1. No PS4 deal! Would the Samsung Galaxy Lite Tab be a good deal for a 7 year old? Thanksgiving they have a bundle for $399; I guess that's the best Playstation is going to do this year.
  2. This is what my kids want to get their dad! http://www.ebay.com/itm/171528668543?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  3. Where?? Is it Sony brand?? I bought the Nerf gun that Walmart has on sale and picked up several Minecraft action figures as they were getting kind of hard to find. I also just bought a lego set on ebay that was sold out in the stores for a decent price.
  4. $379 for the PS4 bundle?? Jump on it or not??
  5. I completely agree!! I'm also over 20 minutes away from a Target. For the amount of money I would be spending in gas going back and forth I just may as well pay full price! I don't even want to look - I figure if I don't know then I'm not missing out.
  6. I'm in! My husband & I live out of state, so it's just us for Thanksgiving. He stays home with the kids, and I get some alone mommy time later in the day! I love it!!
  7. 1) Seeing under dressed kids (especially babies) outside really strikes a nerve with me. Last year, there was a couple who had a baby in a onesie - no socks, hat, jacket, etc...How were the parents dressed? Coats, hats, gloves! 2) Line cutters!! 3) No organized lines for checking out! 4) Out of stock items or having to wait until a certain time before an item is released. 5) Not knowing where the items are located in the store - electronics should not be in the frozen food section!!
  8. Anyone think the PS4 will come down in price or do you think it will just be a bundled deal? Not sure if I should buy one now to get it out of the way or wait closer to BF.
  9. My husband had to go to the dentist last week and get a few things done as well. We had a hefty bill even after the insurance! If it happened prior to BF, I probably wouldn't have bought as much as I did. Hope you feel better soon.
  10. My Walmart still has 2 huge boxes of sheets for $24.96. They took down most of the other cardboard display boxes. That's the only thing I saw that's still at a BF price. The prices have increased on other BF leftovers. Oh yeah, we have tons and tons of the Garth Brooks gift sets as well!
  11. I thought Cyber Monday was a huge let down this year!
  12. My Walmart still had two full boxes of sheets in the aisle, appliances, rubbermaid containers and DVDs. I heard some woman arguing with an employee in the electronics department because the movies marked PROMO were not ringing up BF prices. I didn't see any prices marked on the merchandise still in the aisles.
  13. My Walmart did this also. We weren't able to take our carts down the aisle either. The problem was the aisles were so congested that there was no way to get to any other part of the store. You were basically stuck in a line regardless if you wanted to be in it or not. As for the tvs, you had to stand in one line to get the voucher on the other side of the store that were handing out the tvs. Why not just hand out of voucher with everyone else picking up the tv?? I liked the lines being controlled. In years past, people started ripping into the shrink wrap before the start time, but in another way it made things too confusing and complicated. Oh and then they were tons of people waiting in the video game aisle just to be told if they wanted a one hour guarantee game than that was is a separate area.
  14. I had a problem last year with placing an order online. I had it shipped to my home instead of the store. I called immediately afterwards and was told that they could not change it. Seriously?? The order wasn't even processed yet. They gave me a $10 gift card for my trouble. I still don't understand why it was an issue, but apparently for them it was.
  15. The woman who was handing out the vouchers explained it this way - the one hour guarantee was for people who received the bracelet. If you had a bracelet, then you were leaving the store with a tv. Anyone was guaranteed a tv with a voucher until 2 AM. You paid for it at the register and it was sent site to store. There wasn't a limit as to how many vouchers one person could receive. I passed on it. I didn't need another tv and wasn't sure about Funai.
  16. This is the number that came up when I googled it - 1-800-883-8895. Hope this helps!
  17. I saw people who were buying several of the $98 tvs at Walmart. I thought they would limit one per customer, but apparently they were handing out any number of vouchers you wanted. I got one, but decided against it when I read the reviews for Funai! I would rather spend the extra and get quality. Most of the tvs at Walmart were gone, but Target still had tons left. Surprising, my Target had tons of PS4 and XBox One. Most people were going for the Xbox and leaving the PS4 behind., but there was plenty for everyone. Went to Meijer and it was completely empty! Everything in the aisles looked untouched. These were the only stores I went to. I was able to price match mostly everything at Walmart or buy online. A bit off topic, but my Walmart wouldn't allow shoppers to take their carts down aisles. They said it was a safety hazard!! So, I only bought what I could carry. I may have bought larger items if I had someone to carry them for me!
  18. I was really impressed with my Walmart this year. Usually they have very little crowd control and people start tearing into things before the start time. But this year, they had everything organized, taped off and only allowed 15 people at a time. Everyone followed the rules and was very respectful towards one another. It made for an easy and enjoyable shopping experience!
  19. Yeah, me too. I only want one or two items from each store, so I guess I have to decide what items I want the most.
  20. Correction - Target and Kmart ads are MIA, but everything else seems to be there. I'll have to buy a newspaper tomorrow.
