I like Walmart for their games and movies, but the problem is if you don't go early, they're all picked over. And there's nothing in the ad that would make me go early.

One thing I hadn't considered when looking into VR was the recommended age. I have an 11 year old, and the Oculus Rift is recommended for 13+. The PSVR is recommended for 12+, but my son turns 12 at the beginning of January, so I feel more comfortable with going with the playstation. So after comparison shopping, I think the best deal will be through Target @ $249 with 5% off.

I just bought my kids new Samsung Galaxy Tab E tablets on eBay for $99; I bought 3 of them. It's the mini, I think 8" or 9" and has 4G. I got tired of them breaking their iPads. This was affordable and they have a ton of apps loaded on them already. My oldest watches Youtube all the time on his and it seems to work fine. I've always been an Apple girl, but honestly, I can't really tell the difference between my iPad and the Galaxy. I had some difficulty with trying to access my email online with the Galaxy, it tended to slow down and freeze, but my iPad does the same. So, I think it's more of a tablet issue than a brand issue. I have no experience with tablets through Amazon. I looked at them, and thought the Galaxies would be a better fit for my kids.

Our Sears closed too as well as the Kmart. I was surprised to see the ads since I thought both stores went completely out of business. Anyone know who picked up the Craftsman brand??

Grrr....I really want the BOGO Iams dog food, but I'm going to be on vacation over BF. I like Meijer's dog treats that are made in the USA. Those aren't easy to find.

I believe so. The 2.0 came out in 2017. I'm hoping when the print ads come out, the model number will be more clear.

I didn't even see a weighted blanket in the Kohl's ad! Thinking of picking up another one for my son as a spare.

I was curious about the VR for the PS4. There is a second version of the VR. So, maybe the first version is what you are seeing as being discontinued. I would be curious what the version that's on sale for BF. I can't see the model number in the picture; it's way too blurry. I think I'm headed in that direction instead of the Oculus. He also said that he read that the VR will be compatible with the PS5 when it's released.

The weighted blanket at Target is a great deal, and the $4.99 air fryer at JCP. I don't need either, but I thought those were the best deals I've seen.

I bought a prelit tree at Lowes a couple years ago. Half the lights are already out! Wish I'd known to hit Home Depot instead. I really hate that tree!

Yes, we already pre-ordered him Fallout 76. We go to ThinkGeek quite often so he already has a lot of the Fallout merchandise. I ordered the Pip Boy kit that you have to build - that's what he wanted. I'm going to buy those Nuka Cola bottle caps for his stocking. Last year, he wanted the new Call of Duty and Assassins Creed games - are there new releases of those games this year?? Right now, he only likes Fortnite and Fallout! He's just at an awkward age when he's growing out of toys. In years past, I'd get him the newest Nerf gun or lego sets, and this year he's not interested. So, I'm kind of lost! I'd just wish he'd add just a few more things!

My 11 year old son wants a Pip Boy toy. Fine, I pre-ordered it from Think Geek. But that appears to be the only thing he wants. When I ask him what he wants for Christmas, he says the only thing he wants is that item. Does anyone just get their kid one item?? That's a new concept for me!!

My aunt gives me and my husband a roll of stamps and a Costco membership every year! We love both! The stamps last me an entire year, and the Costco membership is great! Last year, my husband got me a heated mattress pad which I love! FYI...I purchased my son a weighted blanket from Weighted Blankets Plus. I think I paid around $100 for 10 lbs. He loves it!
