Got all of my ads in the mail today!

I got $10 last week.

PSP or Nintendo 3DS? What's everyone's opinion? TIA

My Walmart had both the Infinity and Skylanders for all systems. Last night, the shelves were clear, so I'm assuming they waited until today to put them out. I didn't see any of the PS4 or XB1 games on sale. They had a lot of board games for $5. There was hardly anyone there - it seems to have been a very quiet pre-BF sale!

Just out of curiosity...how do they know the tv is actually broken if you don't send it back?? I can see the scammers getting a free tv!

They did this with tickets, but you weren't able to leave the line even if your had a ticket! Lines start forming early anyways, so it doesn't make a differene to me if I go in early to stand in line or go in early to get a bracelet. Maybe you can get your bracelet, leave the store and go back to pick up your item??? How would they know??

I'm not sure all the board games that are supposed to be $5, but I'm seeing Monopoly and a few others at $5, but they're all sold out online.

I like this!! I remember standing (actually sitting) in the can food aisle for hours waiting for a PS3. I was so bored I actually started organizing the shelves!

Okay, I'm a bit confused. Is there a complete list somewhere of what's on sale?? These aren't the black friday sales, correct?

You are absolutely correct! I'm just surprised to see the price still the same as what I paid 2 years ago considering that the PS4 is being released. From the ads that have been released, and I consider Meijer to be a major store, the PS3 seems to be consistently priced - for now.. That's why I thought Amazon was a great deal at $239 because it had the larger hard drive and the Kinect. That's great advice about scanning the receipt. Some receipts the ink does rub off. Great suggestion!!!

Did anyone else have a problem shipping these to a store?? I ordered several items and everything else shipped to the store except the Minecraft figures.

I bought a PS3 (250 gb with Little Big Planet 2 & Ratchet & Clank) on BF a couple years ago for $199. I would think that it would go lower since the PS4 is being released, but all the ads I've seen so far has it priced at $199 (I'm not sure what games come with it). So, I'm not really impressed with Gamestop's deal. Each of those games is roughly $15 a piece. It's not a bad deal, but not a great one either. You can always buy it and return it for a better deal.

I'm glad I didn't pass on Amazon's Xbox 360 deal. There was some debate if there would be a better deal on BF, but doesn't look like it from the ads that have been released. I would go for the bigger hard drive 250 vs 4. It will be worth the price difference.

I remember those times as well. I remember when stores would be closed on Sundays or close at 5 PM. I was always sitting at home bored, so maybe that's why I love when stores are open!!! I believe there will be plenty of people there.

My husband and I live out of state. For the couple of days off we get for Thanksgiving, it isn't worth it for us to go home. We usually end up going out to dinner and taking the kids to the movies. I understand family time. But I also realize that this is the busiest time of the year for retailers and when they expect to make the most money (that's why it's called Black Friday), Obviously, every family needs to make the decision that suits their needs. But I know plenty of families who celebrate Thanksgiving by going shopping together. As far as watching football, they're working that day too! Football players, coaches, cameramen, restaurants and shops will be opened at the stadiums as well. I just hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday however he/she decides to spend it!

I honestly don't have a problem with it. Look at all the other businesses that are open on Thanksgiving - restaurants, movie theaters, gas stations, hospitals, airports, hotels, etc...Retail is known for having horrible hours. If you don't want to work it, then find a different job. Oh and as far as corporate execs getting the day off - my BIL is VP of a department store chain and he has to go in on Thanksgiving as per corporate policy. If you don't agree with it then don't go - that's your prerogative. But I like going, so I will! JMO...sorry if I offended.
