That's awful! I've been following Walmart's FB page, and this, unfortunately, is happening to a lot of people. I don't understand why they're not letting people buy at BF prices when the items come back in stock if they had already paid for the item. That's just horrible customer service. It's happening to tons of people! They're just going to end losing more money. I read one woman's post where she went into her Walmart to buy clothing that was supposed to be on sale throughout Friday, and her store had crossed out all the BF prices and raised them back to regular price. When she questioned the manager and showed him the ad, she was told that it was a corporate decision. I also read that Walmart wasn't refunding these buyers right away either...so not only do they not have the item that they already paid for, but Walmart isn't refunding them either. This one guy's credit card is all screwed up and every time he goes to use it, he's been told that it's been flagged for fraudulent activity. I kept waiting for my order to be cancelled because everyone's order just kept being cancelled, but it's been shipped and according to the tracking, it will be here on Tuesday, so we'll see. Despite my purchase going through, I don't think I'll be shopping much at Walmart anymore.

I think consumers, for the most part, have become more savvy shoppers. Price comparison shopping can be done in an instant on a phone or a computer, and that hurts retailers if they can't offer the best deal. I know for me, I did the majority of my shopping online before yesterday. I don't think the deals were that great to begin with. The stores weren't crowded, with the exception of Target. Walmart p*ssed off a lot of shoppers with their site going down and releasing items before the designated time...if you read the posts on their FB page, it's become a consumer relations nightmare! And I think the argument against shopping on Thanksgiving gains more traction every year. If you're going to receive the same deals on Friday as you would on Thursday, then I think we should go back to Friday. I think BF will always draw a crowd because you will always have shoppers who will fall for the hype and also will have shoppers that just like the tradition, but I think most consumers know that better deals can be had throughout the year.

I bought mostly everything online: Walmart: Trampoline $154 (still shocked and stoked that I got this); Ebay: Samsung Galaxy Tablet; BBT Lego set, Back to the Future Fun Pack; Xbox games Amazon: Skateboard, Skateboard Ramp, Pogo Stick, Action Camera and Turtle Beach Gaming Headset Target: Lego Dimensions My son is now done!! I bought the BBT season 8 for myself at Target and The Witcher PS4 for DH.

Walmart was strange. I got there around 8 and the store had cleared out by then. They had tons of those Roku tvs that everyone is complaining about (on Facebook, not here ). They had Wii U, Xbox One and PS4...but they had mostly sold out of DVDs and games - which I never had a problem getting, even the next day. They only had a few titles left. Items that I didn't think were a big deal and was over-confident that I could just walk in and get, were gone. Items that are sold out online, they had tons and tons. I had never seen my Walmart like that before.

Went to Target tonight after not finding the items needed at Walmart, and was pleasantly surprised that they had everything in stock! Such a nice change from Walmart!

The only item I ordered last night was the $154 trampoline at Walmart. I finally got my order to go through at 3:26 AM. It hasn't been cancelled. I was going to order a couple movies at Target, but they were in store only. Grrr... I may go out later tonight...when the crowds have thinned a bit.

Oh crap...I think I bought two of them! And it didn't apply my savings catcher balance even though I saw the discount at checkout. What a mess!

I went from having 0 trampolines in my cart to having 10 and every time I deleted one, it would freeze up. How I managed to make it through I don't know, but I got the trampoline! I just hope next year, Walmart doesn't have anything I want...I don't want to deal with Walmart anymore!

I just got off the phone with Walmart customer service and they're explanation was basically customers shouldn't have bought anything until 12:01 PST because that's the time the sales started, so don't blame Walmart, blame the people who shopped early! Alright then, shame, shame, my fellow GD shoppers!!

I'm really tired of Walmart's glitches...seems to happen every single year. Who the heck is working in their IT department??? Every freakin' year!

The trampoline is marked down to $154, the BF price, and is Out of Stock already! What happened to the 3 AM start time?? I really hate, hate Walmart!

Walmart's sale is supposed to start online at 3AM. Are they consistent with this time or have they've been known to start early??

Okay, I guess I will just have to chance it. If I can't get it online, I'll go to Walmart early tomorrow and sit on the box until 6 and won't move until an associate helps me to checkout!

What about if you put an item in your cart that's not part of the sale? Would that item be removed as all? Do it soon...it can take up to 24 hours to process!

Doesn't that defeat the purpose if the ads start on Thursday?? Very frustrating!!

I am going for the trampoline at Walmart this year. I'm going to try to buy in online instead of at the store - my store only has two out and the box is twice as big as I am! No way I'm getting that trampoline out the door by myself! A few of the smaller trampolines have already sold out, and I know this is probably going to be difficult to get. The problem is I want to apply my Savings Catcher balance upon checkout. Is there something I can add to the cart and enter my savings catcher code early so when it goes live I can just check out? I'm afraid that the session will expire if I don't check out right away and it will think I already used SC money. What would be the quickest and easiest way to handle entering in your SC code so I'm not wasting time at checkout? Thank you!!!

I can't remember ever using coupons on BF...unless online and it's a coupon code. The only store who sent me coupons this year, I believe was Kohl's, and I'm not shopping there this year. I may have also received a coupon for JcPenney, but I don't know if that expired before BF, I think so. I always receive coupons for stores I hardly ever shop at, and even then, it's rare. Wish one year I would receive the 15% off entire store coupon at Target! I've never been so lucky! I still haven't received all the ads in the mail...not happy about that!!

Who received ads in the mail?? I only received Kohl's, Menards and CVS. Anyone receive the ads I really need - Walmart, Target and Meijer?? Wondering if they'll come tomorrow or not being sent out?
