It really depends on what you're looking for. I agree, some of them are ridiculous, but there are some amazing deals! Like I got the Thomas the train Castle Quest set for $34.99 and then 15% off of that brought it to $29.75, where everywhere else it costs between $45-$60! Heck of a deal there! Plus it bumped me up to more Kohls cash so awesome deal!

Looks like there's a Nintendo 3DS and a 3DS XL coming up at 2:10 EST today. I know quite a few people were looking for those. Don't know what the price will be, but a couple weeks ago Amazon did $179.99 on the XL so I'm guessing maybe a little lower than that.

Question: I've never shopped Kohls online. I just set up an account with my card and everything. My question is, if I put the items I want in my cart now, will the prices change tonight to reflect the black friday price? Or should I just wait until the sale starts? Thanks! I want the Oneida flatware and the Thomas castle set. Also, how do you get the Kohls cash if you shop online? Does it come in an email or do you get it in the mail?

Looks like they're upping the Wow factor today with some laptops and other big ticket items coming up. I see a Lenovo G500 15.6" laptop at 11:00 am EST and a Dell Inspiron 15.6" Touchscreen laptop also at 11:00 am EST. I'm wondering about this one too. I got my KFHD last xmas and I'm curious to see if any Kindle books go on sale for BF.

They'll have more and better movies closer to Thanksgiving. If I remember correctly it was Wednesday last year during BF week that we started seeing things like the Lorax at $3 and Brave at $8, stuff like that. I think Wednesday night we'll start seeing the lower prices on newer movies.

We put ours up yesterday! I've never had the trees up before Thanksgiving, but since the holidays are so close together this year I figured why not! My son still needs to put up his bedroom tree and I still have a little table top tree to put out, along with the rest of the inside decorations but that's all going to wait until next Saturday. For now we have the living room tree, family room tree, and the fireplace done, and then it's turkeys and pilgrims throughout the rest of the house. I've seen them throw quite a few things into the Lightning Deals even just over the past few days that weren't showing in the morning, so definitely keep an eye out for more things to pop up.

The video game calendar goes for the whole week, so I'm hoping to see the movie/tv calendar do the same thing soon. I've only got my eye out for Monsters U and Turbo, and I'm thinking we won't see those until Thursday. I've got an alarm set on my phone for Madden 25, now I just need to set alarms for my movies. My family makes fun of my little alarms going off during Thanksgiving dinner.

I'm not sure if it's the same on BF but I don't see why it wouldn't be: When I ordered from the video game/toy sale last month I earned a $10 Target giftcard and it came in an envelope in the mail. I got my packages and then the next day I got the giftcard. For some reason though they also applied a $10 GC at checkout so I ended up actually getting $20 total but I don't know how that happened, I think it was a mess up. But anyway, you should get it in the mail after your order ships.

I don't wear or carry anything different. I definitely change out of my Thanksgiving dinner clothes and put on jeans or leggings and a sweater, throw on my boots, but I still carry my regular purse. I'm not out for the whole day though, so I'm sure that makes a difference. I always have a bottle of water in my purse, if that counts. Lol

A lot of Xbox One and PS4 games today, and Disney Infinity is coming up at 2:10 EST. Looks like we're kicking it into high gear on the Lightning Deals today!

They're going to have the PS4 and Xbox One games today too, as well as Disney Infinity at the $37 WM price. And there was a 5-pack of Hot Wheels for $3 that I grabbed, so keep an eye out for some price-matching Lightning Deals today. I swear every time I refresh it they've added more deals throughout the day. I love this time of year on Amazon! Looks like there's an HDTV coming up later too now.

I'm heading out around 9:30-10:00 to Target and maaaaaybe WM (depends on how much I really want those bar stools) and then coming home to shop in my pajamas and get some sleep. Then I'll head to Kohls early Friday morning.
