  1. Their website says they do not do price adjustments, but it never hurts to ask. I just wouldn't get my hopes up. Otherwise, if you can find the identical coat, you could buy it at the lower price and return the one you bought last week, keeping in mind that it would still need to have the tag attached with the yellow bar-code return sticker. If you have already removed the tag from the coat you bought last week, you may be out of luck.
  2. Went this afternoon, it was pretty crowded. The bad news is, a lot of the stuff was the same stuff I saw during the January clearance. The good news is, the prices are MUCH lower now. Stuff that was 30% off/extra 50% in January was now 70% off/extra 40%. It seemed like there were some good deals to be had in costume jewelry/watches, purses, housewares and domestics/luggage. Nothing really called to me though.
  3. Do you mean kitchen pots & pans? They did a big round of kitchenware clearance about a month ago, where some people scored Calphalon, Kitchenaid, and/or Paula Deen pans. If I remember correctly the next big reset of the department happens around September.
  4. Agree with this. The same goes for calling a store to ask about pricing/availability. Sometimes it will be helpful and you will get correct information; more often, you will get misinformation or will alert the employees to a bargain that they can stash/score for themselves. It happens all the time, especially for highly desirable items like TVs, bikes, toys, etc.
  5. TY for the info on drapery clearance. It turns out West Plano was just a little late marking theirs down. But I did go to the Lewisville SuperT (121@Main/Josey) and it is a very nice store! I found some good kitchen and bath markdowns AND the drapery I was looking for, so thanks.
  6. Which store? They were only 50% in Plano and I've been waiting on these forever! TY!
  7. Valentine's was 75% today, candy 50%. Also at 75% were the Garage Maid garage organizer system (plastic drawers, hooks, etc), fireplace stuff (screens, tools, hearth rugs, log holders, etc), humidifiers (possibly heaters and patio heaters? anyone?), and area/scatter rugs. Fieldcrest bed linens went 75% off but all I found were a few stragglers. No movement on drapery, still 50%. Clearance BBQ stuff went to 50% (covers, forks, etc). They are marking down the designer home section (Pottery Barn knock off stuff), it's at 30%. Dysons were still 30%.
  8. Didn't notice any additional markdowns today. Bulk Dept is mostly 15% and 30%, with some 50% (Luggage, Ed Hardy, etc) and some 75% (kids t's and sweatshirts, VERY picked over). None of the things I have been stalking showed any movement (garage storage and drapery still 50%, lamps have pretty much disappered at 50%). I saw some of those anniversary Dysons in the blue box, they are still lingering at around $300 (I think that is 30%?)
  9. I'm officially going stir-crazy not being able to go score some Domestics markdowns. I've been stalking some stuff for weeks, and now I'm stuck in the house because of this snowstorm (and it's slushy aftermath). It's just not worth it to me to risk a possible car accident or a slip-and-fall to save a few bucks. Thanks to the poster who reported that curtains are still 50% off, I'm waiting for 75%, so at least I might not have totally missed out.
  10. A lot of kids stuff is already 30-50% off, although not sure if that includes furniture. I know I am starting to see more bedding sets etc. I also seem to recall it clearancing around the same time as Global Bazaar last year (RIP), so you may be able to score around the middle of this month!
  11. Outdoor firepits (is that what they are called?) were 75% off at my local store. The ones I saw were blackish metal with a removable round mesh screen top for $14.XX.
  12. In my excitement I forgot to post some other deals spotted: ### Saver Event select designer items 50% off (Ed Hardy, golf polos, Samsonite luggage) ### Natural skincare/bath select items 50% off (Dr Bronner, Alba, Yes To, etc.)
  13. Happy dance time! I finally scored a 75% off women's 26" hybrid bike! It was the Cimarron that was previously posted about. Found it at the Richardson, TX store, not stickered but with an actual SIGN made with the $49.98 price. Last one near as I could tell. Now I have to go "reassemble" it, or at least adjust it so I'll feel reasonably safe. I'm so glad I was hopeful and bought the 75% off helmet and lock last week. Also found: ### ELF 5-piece click-pen lip gloss set $1.25 (orig. $5/75% off) ### Thermos Intak pink ribbon water bottle, BPA-free $1.98 (orig. $7.99/75% off)
  14. You can also do it directly from the Target website using the ASIN. Just copy and paste the ASIN of the item you are looking for at the end of this address (after the "=") and hit enter: http://www.target.com/gp/store-info/find-target-store.html?asin=B000000000 To find the ASIN, your item has to be listed on target.com. Look in the details tab and it's usually listed after the DCPI. And like 1angelnhvn said, this is a very unreliable way to find an item in the store, especially if it says "Limited Availability". It doesn't take into account items that are already in someone's cart, misshelved, sitting in a return cart, stashed in the back, etc. I use it more as a tool to find out if I have absolutely no hope of finding an item!
  15. Hey frizz, not sure what a Pack & Play is :), but I saw three adult cruiser-style bikes 75% off at the Lewisville store around noon. Not sure of the brand. One was white and two were navy. They are the style with wide handlebars and a cushy seat. I was looking for more of a fitness/mountain bike, so did not buy. They were around $34. That said, if anyone in the DFW area sees an adult fitness or mountain bike, let me know! Yeah, I know, good luck to me
  16. I asked a markdown team member (who was very nice and helpful, BTW!) and she said the Fieldcrest were staying at 50%. She even scanned two items I have been stalking and they stayed 50%. The only ones that went to 75% that I saw were Target brands (Home etc), Dwell, Thomas O'Brien, Woolrich, Springmaid (so, almost everything BUT Fieldcrest Luxury!)
  17. I managed to score a 4-6 person dome tent, but I was there pretty early. I also saw quite a few very small backpacking tents, and one other dome tent, as well as some canopies. I think this stuff flies out the door as soon as it is marked. There was a man with a cartful shopping right behind me (he was in front of me in luggage, darn it, so I cut over to sporting goods!)
  18. Found this in the camping section: ### 085 05 0017 Stanley 12-in-1 Multi tool $3.24 (75% off) It was marked 30% off but scanned 75% off. Not as nice as the Gerber one I scored last year but it will do for the emergency kit. Also: ### Various Yankee Candles 75% off (reed diffusers, jar candles, votives; mostly holiday)
  19. Baby stuff marked down here too, the larger items like strollers (which have all but disappeared) were 50% and smaller items like baby clothes were 75%. Camping was still mostly 50% and almost wiped out. I did see a lot of Coleman LED collapsible lanterns for $7.XX (75%). I think they took 4 C or D cells and claimed between 40-80 hours of light.
  20. It is fun reading about everyone's toy hunts and great finds here, even though I am not in the market for toys right now! I've been mostly looking for kitchenwares. I did manage to score one 75% off frying pan, it was a Kitchenaid 10" nonstick for $5.XX. It was hanging in the aisle and not marked (yep, I was looking for "oddballs", that's how I found the Christmas tape!). There were also some Bialetti frying pans that were 75% off/not marked. For those looking, the Kitchenaid pans were black on the outside, and the Bialetti ones were red on the outside and called "Bella". Also scored some workout clothes 75% off (a zip-up jacket and some stretch capris).
  21. Thanks, I may have to check that one out, I have not been there yet. I went to Frisco, W. Plano and Plano (Parker@75). I was hoping for some pots & pans because ours are in sad shape.
  22. I am very envious of those of you scoring kitchen items - went to three stores today and no luck! I will have to take solace in my pile of cheap tape These are the bargains I saw today, but did not purchase: Jewelry Armoires 75% off: ### RE Jewelry Armoire, Oak finish $14.98 (reg $59.99) 249 08 0070 ### Home Jewelry Armoire, Cherry Finish $32.48 (reg $129.99) 249 08 0074 ### Home Jewelry Armoire, Espresso Finish $32.48 ($129.99) 249 08 0072 Yankee Candle 75% off: ### Yankee Candle "Autumn Festival" reed diffuser set $4.98 (reg $19.99) ### Yankee Candle "Sweet Pea" plug-in $3.74 (reg $14.99) ### Yankee Candle "Sweet Pea" plug-in refills, 2-pack $3.74 (reg $14.99)
  23. Our kitchen stuff was only 50%, I scanned and everything...
  24. Lots of women's clothing at 75% off, including jeans, long pants, sweats, sweaters, and t's. Got a really cute "pleather" jacket for only $7.XX. Also lots of household goods and cookware 50% off, hoping it will still be around at 75%.
  25. Yes, the extra 50% off clearance applies today, too. It only applies to permanently marked down clearance items, not sale items (so the mattress mentioned earlier is not an additional 50% off). I found the pickings to be pretty lean. I had a gift card burning a hole in my pocket and couldn't find a single clearance item I wanted (or that was actually a good deal). The shelves were pretty empty. Shoe clearance was especially sparse. It looked like they were getting ready for inventory (inventory tags stuck everywhere) and haven't bothered to stock new stuff yet. I will probably end up using the gift card on fragrance or cosmetics. Macy's on the whole has dissapointed me in the last few years.
