Make sure you read the reviews before you buy. Many owners say this mop can get expensive because there is a filter you need to replace, as often as every six months . Apparantly you can minimize the need for this by using distilled water in the tank, especially if you have hard water. I'm still on the fence as to whether I want to buy this, even at half price, for this reason. And I have read that it will not clean grout, and some reviewers have reported that it leaves laminate flooring a little too wet. Not an owner, just reporting reviews. Decide for yourself and keep that receipt for 90-day returns.

Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2009

Not much in the way of clearance today. Jersey sheet sets were 75% making them $4.98 for twin. They had twin, twin XL, and a couple full (I think they were aimed at college kids, so no queen or king). Bunch of natural bath items 75% off (Kiss My Face sunscreen/face lotion, Dr Bronner liquid soap, Soap & Glory body butter and exfoliator, Alba sunscreens with 2011 exp date). Sonia Kashuk pink BCA brush sets and bags 50% off. Some Smith & Hawken went 75% off, I managed to get a copper hurricane lamp for $6.XX, and a magnolia wreath for $9.XX that I hope to doctor up so it looks like the one Pottery Barn sells for $50 -

I think you can get a price adjustment for coupons. Just bring it to the customer service counter with your receipt(s). -

Yeah, I think sometimes they start before opening, like at 5am, and can knock out a lot in that time. I am guessing that for holiday markdowns they don't need to scan each item, since nothing ever has orange stickers - that they just do it by computer, which is why Halloween went 90% off on a Saturday when the markdown team normally does not work (I think?) -

Did not intend to bother with the 90% sale, but after reading all these posts, the bug kicked in... Got some humiliating costumes for the pets, also some fall-themed pillar candles, leaf-shaped knick-nacks, and candle trays. I'm set for Thanksgiving decor now, on the cheap. The dog is very mad at me. Cutest find: "devil" loofah dog, complete with horns and pitchfork. I think it was $0.49. Was happy to see that none of the stuff I bought at 75% off was left. I think I finally have a grasp on "how low will it go"! Also, I returned a dog costume that didn't fit the pooch and they gave me price paid back (75% off price) even though costumes were now 90% off. Good to know. -

I saw these but they expired 10/31/09 so didn't use them. Are you telling me I coulda had the candy I bought for practically free? Does Target take expired coupons? Dang... I thought I would be "ripping them off" by even trying... -

Candy was gone at my closest Target, replaced by Christmas candy. Luckily I found some "stragglers" amongst the regular candy aisle and they scanned 75% off. So for those of you looking, keep an eye out for "oddballs" with fall or Halloween stuff on the baggies, and bags that don't match up with what the tag on the shelf says. And like some previous posters have said, many of the candies only have Halloween decor on the bags, the actual candy is identical to the full priced bagged candy, so great for stocking stuffers/gift bags. -

OMG, I cannot BELIEVE how many Halloween costumes were left at the store I went to today - an entire aisle, both sides (and for you DFW people, it was FRISCO which is totally overshopped). I'm thinking there are going to be a bunch left at 90%, but who knows. Do we still think it might go 90% on Saturday? If so, I will probably leave DH to sleep while I do Target and Old Navy! -

Autumn Market and Smith & Hawken Halloween are also 75% off (NOT S&H Fall, that's still 30%). The Autumn Market is light colored fall leaf themed stuff like berry and hydrangea wreaths, candles with leaf motifs, glass and ceramic bowls, glass leaf scatters, paper napkins & cups, etc. S&H includes black and orange berry wreaths and black metal luminaries. Halloween and fall-themed nutcrackers are also 75%. I found this stuff literally all over the store, on endcaps and in the rows, often with no clearance stickers or signs. -

I'm not sure you'll find one anymore, they went 75% off with the other clearance small kitchen appliances last week. All my stores have left now are waffle cone makers. I only ever saw one popcorn maker, and I think it was gone at 50%. It was one of those ones that looks like the box at the movie theater, cute for a media room. No DCPI, sorry! -

Some electronics clearance got marked to 75%, lots of cell phone car chargers for $2.48 and some Sony noise cancelling headphones for $24.98. Halloween was 30% off candy, 50% off everything else. I noticed a woman returning A TON of Halloween stuff at CS. I always thought if you returned holiday items, they would refund you at the current selling price, not the price you paid. I know some stores encourage you to buy as much as you need and return what you don't use, but I wasn't sure Target does that. Anyone know? It seems like that would encourage people to return and rebuy at clearance prices. It wasn't candy she was returning, it looked like Halloween-themed party items. -

Cedar closet storage was 75% off - I saw shoe shelves, vertical shelves, and cabinets, in cherry finish. Fall color plastic storage was 50% off. Many fall plastic, glass, and porcelain tableware items were 75% off (chargers, dipping bowls, loose glassware, plate sets) Clearanced home decor items from the shmancy section (purple/gray/brown theme) were 75% off. I saw mirrors, picture frames, hooks, artificial flowers, vases, pillows, candleholders, and lamps. I got a nickle task lamp for $7.XX. Scored with the small kitchen appliances, I got a crock pot ($7.XX), George Foreman grill ($12.XX), a panini grill ($14.XX), a Kitchenaid hand mixer ($9.XX) and an ice cream maker ($7.XX). There were also waffle cone makers, larger GF grills, popcorn machines, slider burger makers, and some low-end blenders. No luck finding any of the decent blenders, of course, since my parents just hinted that they wanted one.... Halloween was already being moved to endcaps. You can tell they are chomping at the bit to get more Christmas stuff out. -

Saw this yesterday, I was really hoping it would be 75% off, but I scanned it and no dice. 50% off is a great deal, though, and I doubt this will still be around if and when it goes 75. Got a Black & Decker hand vac 75% off ($14.XX) to replace the POS Dirt Devil one I (stupidly) paid full price for. Also got some Hoover steamer solution and spot cleaner 75% off. -

They just started it here and only some of the Targets do it. At the one I went to that did I had multiple employees tell me about it. They also had a barcode sticker next to the register to scan for the five cents off. Here is an article about it in USA Today that says they will roll it out nationwide on Nov. 1st: http://www.usatoday.com/money/industries/environment/2009-10-18-target-plastic-bags-green-environment_N.htm -

I almost never find decent stuff at Frisco, just a few good scores lately. When I do score, it's usually on the day of markdown and never on the weekends (I actually don't even like to go to Target on the weekend, it's such a mob scene!) -

Forgot to add, the DCPI is on the orange clearance sticker, or sometimes it is printed on the box (might say something like DCP Identification). If the item you bought is on target.com, you can find the DCPI number under the details tab. It looks like this: DPCI: 241-20-6783 -

Heh heh heh, yeah, that's sort of normal. I think you're referring to the "antique black" wooden chairs that are (or were, they're gone here) on clearance for $17.XX. They don't have a picture of the chair on the box, or even say "chair" anywhere on the box, which of course prompts people to tear open the box and pull pieces out to try to figure out what the heck it is. You may also find a matching desk or shelves in similar packaging. Welcome, by the way! :) -

I finally scored a deck box for 75% off ($14.98)! I thought these were long gone, it must have been a return, or dug out of a corner while they were filling in Christmas. My craziest score this weekend was: ### 249-14-0006 3-Shelf Chestnut Bookcase $4.98 When I saw it on an endcap I thought, "Oh no, they've stuck the wrong sticker on it". I sure didn't feel like arguing with the store manager and being made to feel like I was a thief (been there, done that). But, I noticed the DCPI number on the sticker matched the number on the box, so I decided to scan it - sure enough, it came up $4.98. Bought it without a hitch, the cashier even said "Wow, that's a good deal!" I figured it was a total fluke, and then I saw the same shelves in another Target near some other clearance stuff but with no sticker. I figured they had probably fixed the "pricing error", but went ahead and scanned it - $4.98! Yeah! Now I have two matching bookcases for less than 10 bucks!!! It's this bookcase, but the DCPI# is different: http://www.target.com/3-Shelf-Bookcase-Chestnut/dp/B001NQEQCI/ref=in_de_display_children_1?ie=UTF8&altString=3%20Shelf%20Bookcase%20Chestnut&pf_rd_r=1YZ5GCJN9BPVWA64GWGN&pf_rd_m=A1VC38T7YXB528&pf_rd_t=5201&pf_rd_i=B0025VBMA4&pf_rd_p=482688091&pf_rd_s=bottom-4 I was trying to figure out why it would be that price, and I think they accidentally took 75% off the 75% off price, making it almost 95% off. I had that happen once before with a Sunny Patch garden item that ended up costing me $0.63 (orig $9.99). -

Got some framed artwork 75% off, also was able to "rebuy" some lamps/lampshades I bought at 30% off Quite a bit of cute stuff for kids! The previously mentioned paisley storage ottoman is cute and is only $4.98, in pink/white and black/teal. Also saw some kids' nightstands for $14.98 in light green and red, and a floor lamp with a pink shade and white shelves built into the base for about the same price. Sorry, no DCPI's. -
Old Navy Extra 50% Off Clearance is back
luvbargainz replied to luvbargainz's topic in Offline Hot Deals
UPDATE - the sale is still going on, but they have changed it. Now it's an extra 50% off women's clothing ONLY. I confirmed with a staffer that it does not apply to anything else, including accessories, maternity, etc. But the good news is, they have added a TON of new items to clearance, including seasonal-appropriate items like sweaters, hoodies, light jackets, cardies, etc. They are resetting the entire women's department right now with cold-weather items. Neither staffer I spoke to knew how long the sale would last (but judging by how much stuff they have on hand, I'd say at least through Friday). Happy shopping! -

OMG, how could I forget black Friday is coming up! You have to stick around for that fun. And January clearance is just around the corner, I am really hoping Global Bazaar (or whatever it's called now) will be a good one! That's how I got started on Gottadeal, when I learned I was not the only "perimeter peruser" and markdown staker! -

Yes, I would like to know this too, there is SO MUCH of the stuff clogging the aisles and endcaps, surely it will go straight to 75%! I wonder why some of the stuff already went 75%? I got a fantastic College 09 three-drawer organizer that is really solid for $9.98 (75%), that was a week or two ago - wonder why the rest is malingering at 30% or 50%?
