Those are the best , but only some stores have those, which I do not understand... Don't you love it when you are struggling to maneuver a big heavy box to a scanner, and employees just walk right by and ignore you?

I don't think you'll have any trouble. I had no problem with price adjustments with a similar situation with BTS items (scissors that were marked 75% off yet rang up full price). Also when I needed to return some different curtains that the cashier rang up as "4 at" (they were the same price, but different colors, hence different DCPI's/UPCs). In fact, I have never had any problems with any return or adjustment at Target, ever. One of the main reasons I shop there.

Yep, that's why now if I am in doubt I will buy something and then return it if it isn't quite right. I'm becoming a chronic returner so I hope their next step isn't to start some stupid return limit . I guess Target is just adapting to the "new economy" so we will just have to adapt too!

My local ON is having the Extra 50% Off Clearance sale again, YMMV. I asked the cashier how long the sale would last and she told me through Friday. Not sure when it started. Remember you can also use your ON weekly coupon to save even more.

I have noticed a very disturbing trend re: Target clearance that I am wondering if anyone else has noticed. At two separate stores I have seen clearance items marked higher this weekend than they were the previous week. One store even changed all the signs from "30% off or more" to "15% off or more" ! Items that I KNOW I saw for 75% off last week were bumped up to 50% off today (deck boxes, for example). Anyone else seen this? If it's true and not just a fluke, it's a shrewd move by Target, although an annoying one...

Someone stop me, I keep going to different Targets and finding more and more stuff...I am spending WAY too much, even if it's all "on clearance". My finds of the week: a stainless steel spring-lid small trash can for $3.XX that even made the cashier jealous, and "Moon in My Room" light-up moon with remote for $4.XX. For those looking for kiddie cameras, unfortunately the Disney cameras/video cameras are STILL 50%, but there were some other cute cameras for only $9.98 (75%). They came in blue/green plaid or pink swirly design and had a flash, an LCD screen, and a wrist strap (no case). They had built-in 32 MB storage ("so no SD card to lose") and came with a USB cord to connect to the computer. In clamshells on an endcap.

I only saw one grill cover for 75% off at one store, and unfortunately it was way too huge for my grill. I think they marked it down by mistake, every other store has moved theirs into the smaller year-round grill section

West Plano. They had so many backpacks that the guy working the department told me they had a buy-six rule - if you went into the aisle, you had to buy six - hahaha!! I swung by Frisco and they had very little, I was mostly looking for Domestics and they had maybe 1/4 of the clearance stuff that West Plano had (however they had more Christmas than any Target I've seen so far , lots of yard decorations)

Major markdowns today!! Backpacks and lunchbags went 75% off. Domestics went 75% off and it was INSANE. Some furniture 75% off. A bunch of small kitchen appliances are 50% off, including a juicer, a fryer, a wafflecone maker, a crock pot, and (drumroll please) a KitchenAid stand mixer (two colors - white and white/pink breast cancer) and KitchenAid blender. I seriously filled my cart and nearly had a heart attack when I saw the bill but WTH, I figure I saved 3 times more than I spent, right????

Hooray! I still don't know if I want to keep mine, I'm unsure how sturdy it will be and whether it could be left outside in an uncovered patio area. Anyone own one that can comment on how they like it? On a side note, the Target I went to yesterday was setting up Christmas! They had an aisle of boxed cards and a back wall of lights, and a WHOLE LOT of blank space waiting to be filled in.

Garden, Pool, and Outdoor clearance was 75% off here. Managed to score a black metal folding bench, a two-person swing, a pool skimmer, and some random garden items. Was disappointed that all of the large planters were gone, and of course, there were no umbrellas, not that I expected any. Some of the College 09 is 75%, got a drawer/organizer thingee.

Grills were not 75% off here, in fact at the store I went to they were only 30% off. BTS was 75%, Dollar Spot blue dot was 50%, and a lot of Domestics and some College 09 were 50%. There is so much cute Halloween stuff this year, I hope there will be some leftover for clearance!

Never been to the McKinney store, but Frisco is not so good for clearance. I think because the store is so huge they can afford to let things languish on the endcaps at 30% off; also, it is a very popular, widely-shopped store, so things move at the lower % off. I think a big clearance round is coming though, at least in housewares/domestics, judging by the amount of stuff clearanced in the aisles.

West Plano and Frisco usually. I think it's new as of this past season or so. Located in the regular candle aisle, and also in a special display on an endcap. I was able to score a scented oil warmer and some refills today at 75% off ($3.XX). The scents they appear to be clearancing are called something along the lines of lilac, spa, beach, tropical smoothie, and wildflower meadow (I'm sure to move in the fall/holiday scents).

Thanks to the poster re: Yankee Candles, I got the last two jar candles for less than $4 (reg. $15) and they smell delish. They also had lots of votives in various scents for 48 cents each. There are other home scents 75% off as well, such as reed diffusers, soy candles, etc. but it is pretty picked over by now. I think Target has been slow about markdowns because they know the stuff will move before it gets to 50 or 75% off. At least that has been the case at my stores, a lot of the stuff I have been stalking is gone by 30 or 50% and never makes it to 75%. The stuff that goes to 75% has usually been sitting there for a while. I was also really surprised that they have kept BTS at 30% even after they had the whole section reset for Halloween. But I see plenty of people stocking up at 30%.

Fitness clearance is 75% off here - some good stuff for fitness junkies, inlcuding Gaiam, Pro Spirit, Reebok, etc. A lot of it is stuff they are just changing the packaging on, so some good deals. Clearance tea/coffee went to 50%, and there is a ton left, so look for it to go cheaper. Luggage clearance 75% off, including select Eddie Bauer, Swiss Gear, and Embark. Saw a cheapo rolling carry-on luggage piece with toiletries bag for $6.XX , also garment bag for around $20.

Update - went to ON on Sunday and the extra 50% off was over.
