i bought mine at sams club.

I know that sounds silly since she probably goes and buys whatever she wants, but i would like to get her something. She took really good care of me and i never doubted any of her decisions on my prenatal care, even the choice to deliver my son 3.5 weeks early. I know i took up most of her time when i seen her, being in her office anywhere from 1-3 hours. I'm sure she got tired of seeing my name on her appt list, lol.

I also seen the same deal at home depot. I bought 3 packs since i try to send out batteries with the gifts i buy for other people that need them. I know i would want to play with my toys on xmas day, lol.

my wm has a bunch of things left. i seen the easy bake ovens, the infant walkers, cabbage patch, and dvd's.

i laughed when i seen this thread cuz i just told my DD that santa called me today while she was in preschool, lol. I told her that he asked for Jocelyns mommy and I said it was me. He asked if jocelyn was a good girl this year and i told him yes, she was very good. I then told her that he just called to check on her cuz he was getting ready to make her presents and wanted to make sure she was good, lol. you should have seen her. she asked if it was xmas day yet and i told her no, in 20 days. she then asked if she went to sleep right then, if he would come, lol. i told her not today. She then asked for the phone and began to dial DH's cell phone. I asked what she was doing and she said " I am calling daddy so that he can call santa back since we dont have long distance on our phone". i just died laughing.

thanks! I ordered 1 box of the pampers size 1-2 and 1 box of the size 2. I live no where close to sams club(where im a member and bought all my diapers with DD), so having them shipped to me for FREE is great! I am all stocked up for diapers.

wish i knew if there was a store around me. I have 4 weeks left before having this baby(though i think he will be here before xmas) and i feel like i need a lot of things yet. good deal though to those who can get in on it!

I TOTALLY agree! I am 9 months pg right now and in serious need of getting my fingers and toes all done. If someone got me that as a gift, i would be in heaven. plus, having them done by someone else is a good thing, since i cant bend over anymore, lol.

yes and no. I have all my gifts that need to be sent out all wrapped and in boxes, just got to get to the post office. We dont have our tree up, but it will be soon since we are expecting a baby sometime in the next2ish weeks. I am just trying to pick up the inlaws, dh, my sister and finish up my daughter. the more i think about it and i type that, it really doesnt sound like i am close to being done, lol.

walmart.com usually has them(out of stock right now ). they have a "bundle" on there, so to speak. the camera and case for like $69/70. it comes out to the camera being $54.88 and the case at regular price, 14.99. i would also check target. they are also OOS online, but i think most of these places will get these in before christmas.

no you're not the only one with greedy children. just last night, dd, dh and i were shopping in walmart. we came across this huge set of play make-up. my dd said "i want that". i told her to put it on her list and ask santa. she says " its not going on my list cuz you are gonna buy it for me now." I said "excuse me little miss, but that is very rude. lose the attitude." and her reply sent me over the edge..... she starts to stomp her feet and says, very loudly. "BUT I WANT IT NOW!" oh my. There was a lady standing right there and said to me" thats quite a kid you got there". and gave a dirty look and walked off. I took my DD around the corner where there wasnt any people and swatted her little butt and told her in a stern voice that i wasnt happy with her and that was very rude. and since she is all drama right now and tends to become a brat this time of year, she starts crying and tells me that i dont love her, i dont think she is pretty. she then stops and tells me she is going to ask her dad and of course, he says no also. so yes, i feel your pain. its also 2x as bad since her bday is the 28th(like 1.5 weeks away.) She is just draining me, lol.

I THINK i saw in the Home depot BF ad a front loading washer and dryer for $1,000 for the pair. not sure on the name brand, but it seems like a good price to me, considering they are the front loading. I would love this set, but my W/D are only 2 years old and I dont think Dh would go for it, lol.

has anyone ever heard of this or actually done it? We dont have any pets due to the fact that we all worked and no one had time to spend with a pet. but now that i am on bedrest and cant work, I am thinking about giving my dd(and really the whole family) a pet for xmas. I would look at one from a local shelter since you can get all the shots and what-not for around $75. My dh and I have made the decision that after the baby is born, I will comtinue to be a SAHM for some time. so i dont have to worry about going back to work for a while. just wondering if anyone has any advice on this and how to do it.
