i hate mail in rebates, so i dont bother with items that have them, no matter how good the deal. my MIL however is all for them.

my dh and FIL dont go out on BF, they just give their "orders" to us women and out we go. for me,my MIL and SIL, its a tradition, lol. a couple years ago we were out from 330am-430pm. we came home and took a nap after, lol.

I believe BF is the day when some, if not most retailers, make enough profits to bring their sales for the year "in the black(positive)" and not "in the red(negative)" and at the same time, pass the sales onto their customers. I know thats explained poorly, hopefully someone can come by and make it sound better, lol.

I finally can post something, lol. I was at my target today. Its a brand new one that opened a couple weeks ago. they had girls hot pink cowgirl boots with roses on them marked down to $7.XX. when I took them to a scanner, they rang up $3 and change! something like $3.74-ish. Thought that was cool and grabbed up a pair for my niece for xmas. they were in a cart in the shoe aisle, all sorts of sizes.

i'd try looking on ebay. people should start selling them right about now.

went to 1 of the 2 WM's near me. this is the one with the better clearance and there was a BOATLOAD of toys on clearance. not at great prices, but i am a patient person, i can wait til they get lower. really good ones too for those of us with little babies/toddlers.

I got mine today also bu ti have to do an exchange. the 5T i got my DD seem a bit snug in the waist, even with the adjustable waist as far as it will go. I've never bought CP jeans so maybe i will have to try a regular 5. the shoes are cute though, just my fault in error in not knowing my DD's size, lol.

our flip flops are marked down also. they hads CARS, spiderman and generic colors for $2 and $3, the generic were $1. The songebob and Dora slip sandals were $3.

I went yesterday to mine and there were TONS of things left on clearance. my store had the 70% off(take an additional 40% off). lots left, especially in little/big boys and toddler girls. Nothing really left in big girls.

only 40% at the store in the Galleria Mall in Birmingham.

i have 2 walmarts within 20 minutes of me, each in a different direction. the one is in a city where all the new stores are coming (target, penneys, ross, old navy) its the happening place. their regular prices seem to be the same of the other WM but its the clearance prices that differ greatly. I often find this WM is priced still at 30% off while the WM in the other direction is clearancing them out at 75%.
