last time i talked to my SIL, her dh is home on R&R and on a recent trip to walmart, they had them huge r/c cars on clearance fro 20 bucks! both my nephew and BIL are into that kind of thing, so they bought it... now my SIL is trying to figure out how to ship it back home.... to ALASKA!!! lol. the one wm by me isnt having that great of deals. the same flannel sheets i bought for $10 for the full size are only on clearance for $11.50 and the regular sheet set that i bought for $4 is only $8. I am heading either today or tomorrow to the wm where i got the good deals. great finds everyone!

i would start shopping soon. I know that southwest is only booking up until june, but keep checking back. you should be able to find a decent price in the next couple of months.

have you tried looking online at www.hotels.com ? we stayed at the holiday inn last summer in st louis and get a room for 2 days for $79 a night! it was a really nice hotel and we booked it thru hotels.com. good luck on your search!

when i lived back in MO, they were running a special fro 14.95 fro DSL and at that time, i was paying 34.95. and the commercial on TV that was advertising the 14.95 said for new customers only. well we had been with SBC for a while, but i decided to give it a shot anyways. i should take a trip to my sams club. I use to live about 15 minutes from one, but not its a 45 minute drive so i dont go up there but every couple months. hope you find some great deals!

i also received my order today that i bought on the 27th. i ordered 3 xmas cookie for gifts for xmas, 1 cinnamon apple for my dh, 1 clean cotton for me since thats my favorite and 1 wedding day fro a friend whose bday is in april and she is getting married in may... i love candles.

I have this happen to me too. I have 2 local walmarts, both within equal driving distance, just depends on which one i go too. The one in the town where my dh works, its ok. they dont have that great of clearances and seems to be behind on getting new things in. the other one just opened in october and seems to be more up to date and where i find things on clearance the most and for the best price, once its on clearance. I usually try to go to this one since it has other stores around it that i like(old navy, ross, bed bath and beyond). the one in town is where i go to when i meet my dh for lunch.

I was at a local walmart this afternoon and there is a bunch of good clearance in the bedding dept. they had king and queen sized comforters, the $60-70$ ones for 20 bucks. all bed in a bag sets were $20. they had sheet sets for as low as $2.00 for twin size(this was a COMPLETE set, both sheets and pillow cases). they had a boatload of king sized 300 thread count sheet sets for $10. wish i knew someone witha king sized bed, but i dont. i got my SIL a full sized sheet set for $4.00 and a flannel set for $10.00. My niece a princess towel with hood for $5.00 along with a tigger one for my nephew for $5.00. might want to check your local WM out for the good deals. however, xmas stuff was still 75% off... not 90 yet???

I ordered some on Dec. 27th and still havent received them. when i check on my order, all it says is "in process". I am going to give it another week since there was New Years in there and they were probably closed.

me too! I had originally said that we would take it down the first weekend in january, but i woke up on tuesday morning and decided at 7am that the tree needed to come down! plus i had my inlaws here and since all the xmas stuff was going up in the attic, my dh and FIL could put it up there and that gets me off the hook for helping! lol.
