im not sure to an event, though for pics this year i am wanting us all to look the same. we are going to do 1 set with khakis and denim shirts, barefooted. the other pics we are going to do red wings hockey jerseys... dh and i in white, the kids in red.

I have to go there to exchange some jeans so i will post on what i find.

ok i got a weird question. what about that chandelier in a bathroom??? my dh and i are going to sell within a few years and to make up for some shortcomings of our bathroom(only 1 sink, linoleum floor)i want to put up a chandelier in the bathroom. right now we have the standard one above the mirror and there is one above the toilet. dh thinks this is to highlight when you go to the bathroom, lol. my idea is to relocate the light from above the toilet to the middle of the ceiling and hang a chandelier and upgrade the entire bathroom since dh wont replace the sink to a double.

i LOVE white lights! I think all the color of the ornaments looks nice against the white lights, plus i think the white lights give a classy/classic look to a tree.

I also agree that if you see a WII i would pick it up now. my local WM had 6 as of last saturday and now they have none. I am definitely going to pick one up next time i see it since its my DH's xmas gift.

I have found the best selection at kmart. but if you are not in a hurry, ebay has some cute stuff.

mine has nothing to do with a deal but I was embarrassed, lol. I was walking into Fred's and there was 3 older ladies walking behind me when all of a sudden i fell. 8 months pg and i fell, i couldnt believe it. My feet were so swollen i could barely get them into my shoes and when i did, i wasnt able to tie them, but i still wore them since they were the only things that fit. the older ladies ran up to me to make sure I was ok and asked if i needed other assistance. I told them no since my MIL was parking the car. and they about FREAKED out when they saw that i was very much pg. they tried to get me to call an ambulance, but i insisted that i was fine. and i continued to look around like something had jumped up and grabbed me, making me fall when i knew exactly why i fell, lol.

I am usually so stressed come the holidays with my 2 kids bdays and christmas and travelling. I take many baths during this time, though my DH says he has a remedy and i'm sure i know what it is but i wont ask. LOL!

i think we do it around the same time.

I love setting up the tree, looking at lights, seeing my DD's face light up. this year with my DS it will be even more special, even though its technically not his first christmas, to me it really is.

usually its whatever DH will let me spend, lol. but i think its usually between $300 to $500-ish

i LOVE to wrap presents too! I buy lots of wrapping paper and i try to pick out the right kind of wrapping paper, depending on the persons present whom i'm wrapping for. for instance, my nephew is TOTALLY into monster trucks/legos/hotwheels so i always wrap his in paper that has this design. the girls get princesses, dora and this year, my DD will get some spongebob since that is her new thing. the adults will get this really cute paper i bought from a catalog at 75% off last year. it has santa in shorts, playing in the sand on the beach and various scenes like this. I thought it was cute since we live in AL now and not MI and our family from the north will get a kick out of it, lol. then of course, i am ALL ABOUT fancy, glittery, scrolling-writing paper. it just makes me happy, lol.

yep i do. and i might get started on them early this year. ever since having our son, the 2nd child, i seem to get more and more behind on things. so i am trying to stay on top and even shipped out my niece's birthday present BEFORE her bday, lol.

we crush them up to bite size pieces and add them to regular sugar cookies instead of chocolate chips.

Mine is "oh come all ye faithful". love that song. my DD's would have to be Jingle bells. she should be busting that tune out anyday now and it will last well beyond when christmas is done and over, lol.

fake for us. we still have the very first tree i bought when i was 18 years old(back in 1998) and it still looks good! we do have a smaller one though that we had to buy back in 2001 cuz the one i had was too big for the house we bought, lol.

i usually have a list but last year when WM revealed their "secret 10 items" or whatever it was, i added a few things to my list from that. I bought the robe they had since i was going ot have a baby and used it in the hospital. it was so nice!

it depends on what i am looking for and who i am with. If i am with my MIL/SIL we are out of the house by 330-4am and not back until 3/4pm. If i am alone, then i am usually gone by 430/5am and back home by 12/1pm.
