  1. follow this link.... https://www.myfico.com/Store/BureauSelection.asp make sure you ONLY have TRANSUNION box checked. enter code VC3794 hit continue enter information after all this is done, the price shold be free. offer only good for the first 5,000 people. to buy this, its usually $15.95!
  2. i bought mine off ebay for $50. the set i bought is/was available at babies r us for $150 on clearance! and even at that price, i am not sure that included all the pieces i got. I got the bumper, quilt, sheet, 2 valances, diaper stacker and bed skirt.
  3. my MIL recently told me everything she got the kids for easter and i feel like i dont need to get them anything, lol. only thing she didnt buy them was candy so i will take care of that. i will pick up some chocolates and a few candy pieces, but im not big on candy. my DD will probably get a new bathing suit and earrings and my son will get a new boy-ish crib sheet (since we are still using the ones from DD), some socks, rattles and teethers and a mirrored toy.
  4. try going to www.finishline.com. thats where i bought mine from and i think they were $85.00, plus shipping. so i think i got my total right around $100.00. I like this store for shoes. They were my favorite store in MO to buy shoes at. sadly, there is none in alabama
  5. what i would give to be a size 00, lol. great find though! bet it made your DD happy. :)
  6. thanks! i just seen this in my email too! I havent been able to get into the town where there is the big lots, but i think i might try tomorrow. thanks for the help!
  7. my local walmart has a 4 in 1 crib on sale for around $120. its a good investment if you arent wanting to spend the money on all the seperate beds later on down the road.
  8. dh and i have the same mattress set we got as a hand me down 8 years ago. its time for a new one since the springs are starting to pop out and my back constantly hurts when i lay in different positions. i told dh if he let me pick out a new bed, he can pick out a new mattress. we belong to sams club so i am going to look there, but anyone else know where we can get a deal on one or which brand is the best? i think this might be a challenge since he likes rock hard mattresses and i like the ones you can just sink into. thanks!
  9. when i lived in MO and visited TRU more often, i got the fliers announcing their extra 50% off and from my experiences, it was a general offer.
  10. thanks for the heads up! my TRU is 45 minutes away, so now i can plan on making a trip up there. they have some cute clothes.
  11. you might want to try ebay. a few years ago, i bought my dd's baptismal gown off there. it came with the gown, a shawl, a blanket, hat, bib, booties, headband and i paid $100. i know it a little more than you want to pay and i'm sure your DD was older than mine(she was 6 mo old) but im sure you can find something on there. good luck!
  12. ok got a question.... i know this says for ages 4-8, but does anyone have one or know a CLOSER age to when they will get the hang of this? my dd will be 5 in november. I was thinking if this would be old enough for her then or is it good for kids closer to the 7/8 year old age group? thanks for any input.
  13. I am trying to talk my dh into using turbo tax this year. last year we had them done at h&R block and cost us $250, but we had relocation expenses and 2 states, so it was a mess and at the time, i wanted to make sure they were done right so i didnt mind paying that much. but now we have a fairly normal return(with the exception of a tax deductible something-or-other from dh's schooling) and i want to use turbo tax. dh is not sure about it yet. He thinks it will miss something.
  14. when i lived in my little corner of MI, i had time warner cable. it was good and got good reception, despite being in the middle of nowhere. havent heard of the other company you mentioned.
  15. not sure i can help you find a deal for what you need, but i am originally from MI too. where about do you live?
  16. i called the one by target on 280 and she said they dont have anymore. I told her i had the item # (from previous post) and described it to her, but she didnt look. just told me that they didnt have it
  17. how old is the person you are buying the bed for? I also recommend looking into a toddler bed. My dd wasnt in hers for very long... maybe 6 months before she moved to a twin bed. anyways, i bought mine from a garage sale for $18. it was white metal, just the frame(already had the mattress from her crib). I still have it though, in my attic. just in case i use it for the baby. if you are worried about them falling out, you could always purchase them side rails or put one side of the bed up along a wall. but if a toddler bed is what you want... scour your classifieds, like the previous poster said or look at goodwill stores or garage sales.
  18. you didnt happen to get a product code or UPC, did you? my nearest LNT is 45 minutes away and i would like to get one of these for my inlaws house, but only if they have them in stock.
  19. both of my nearest walmarts are clearancing baby stuff big time. i have seen the ocean wonders aquarium swing on clearance for $74, reg. $100. the ocean wonders bouncer for $30, reg. $35-$40. and like a previous poster mentioned, check babies r us. i got my pack n play on clearance there a couple years ago for $30.
  20. is this any mastercard? i know they take discover but i never would have thought they would take a general credit card. Not the news i needed to hear though since i plan on making a trip there tomorrow, lol.
  21. did you go to the one off 280? I live about 45 minutes from that target and i have been wanting to go, but if they dont have much, i think i will save the gas! :)
  22. mine is opening at 6am.
  23. went to bed at 1am, DD got up at 530am and has been up ever since! and now its 7:23 pm. have tried laying her down, but she is too darn excited, lol.
  24. since christmas eve is my bday, we usually go out somewhere for it, in-laws treat, lol. then for christmas, we make several snacks for teh early daytime and then for the main meal, we have ham. something I have noticed in the south... for thanksgiving its ham, for christmas its turkey. We always have turkey on thanksgiving and ham for christmas. several of dh's co workers told him that the opposite is how its done here, lol. is this true, or just depends on the how each person does it?
