**How did you know it was marked-down?? I might need 12" for ds. I glanced over the bikes section Today but didn't notice any red tags or clearance signs so I didn't bother taking a closer look.

I must say it makes me laugh when I find people's stashes :). Just Today behind a very organized shelf of Toys I found a whole pile of winter hats/gloves, etc. I think they were sports ones or something like that.

**I also find that each time I go I find something interesting. I'm very thorough with my search too. I look behind all boxes and on top shelves and even go through the regular isles of Toys and take a quick look. I wonder if people keep returning things. That's def. something I need to do but somehow buying seemes like so much more fun than going through this stuff and deciding whether I want to return something.

Yep I just saw one at Target Today. I don't know if it's 50% or 75% off?? I believe it's one of those pale green boxes with checkered designs.. **We still have one Target that has sooo much left!!! I don't think too much stuff went to 75% at that one so that is prob. part of the reason. I also think that town is not considered that "hot" so that might be another reason.. I guess if it's not tomorrow I'm staying home and cleaning my house until next Thursday. I will try very hard to stay away until then!!

You should see my house . I constantly go through phases where I clean and organize and then I just let it go and it becomes unrecognizable. I hate cleaning when I don't have a lot of time to dedicate to it and also I get so exhausted from shopping I have no energy left. At least kids are small enough not to notice or ask me why the house is such a mess..

**I have to say I like swiffers myself - for the floor and for dusting. But of course I have to sweep first with a broom and I only use it on hardwood floors. It's not electric or anything, just a regular one. (Not sure if they have diff. variety?)

Ohh No! I hope it doesn't mean they decided to hold off a whole another week to do additional mark-downs.. I guess we'll see for sure tomorrow!

My hubby has done it a lot in the past. Not that I think it's right or wrong, but he was in that whole phase of testing things, so he would buy anything from a blu-ray player to all kinds of other electronics and then return most of them before 90 days were up. Now with the economy the way that it is he's stopped doing it because you never know when they change their return policy or file for bankrupcy or whatever...

I have to admit my hubby has always been the housewife in our house (even though we both worked full time jobs) Now I'm SAHM and feel bad enough to start cleaning the place a lot more (though he's still the cook.) So I would love to get some gear to help in this process but I guess I'll just have to use the borring old-plain broom instead. With a toddler and a preschooler our kitchen floor get dirty very soon after it is washed (as does the rest of the house)

**How does an electric broom works?? I've never had one of those, just regular ones and a vacuum cleaner.. Is it like a mix of the two?? Is Dirt Devil a good one?? Were there the 75% signs or do you have to know where to look??

I just called a bunch of stores and it doesn't look like anything's discounted. At one store a girl told me they discount Toys on Thu night?? I don't think she knew what she was talking about because this was my last stop last Thu. so I got there around 1p.m. but everything was already discounted by then. Also when she was checking DCPI numbers for me she kept telling me - Oh, it's a clearance item so we don't have anymore left. Well, I stopped by this Target last night and they had both the Einsteins Rockets and Smores.. **Ohh..and I did use DCPI numbers to check. Mostly the one for the Little Einsteins Rocker (because I know I saw lots of these on the floor) Also checked Smores at one store. **Just called the last one - Smores is still 99.98

So last week I don't remmember hearing about many stores discounting Toys on Wed. I think it was mostly Thursday for everybody. Was this unusual? Or is it like that for most Targets throughout the year? **None of the Targets here discounted Toys on Wed., so is it a sure thing that I should wait until tomorrow to venture out?

Went to one of the Targets (only my 2nd time there) and was surprised to find LOTS of merchandise still left. Though I kept seeing things that I have already bought at 75% still at 30%-50% so that's probably why it is still so packed. I must say, when this Target goes 75% I will be in trouble because I was hoping to only pick up a few more things, but there were just so much I kept seeing that would be such a great deal at 75%. I saw 4 Smores (want one of these!) and even more Biscuits. Few FP Kid-Tough DVD players. Found one McQueen Walking\Talking car in the regular isle but only scanned at 50% off. Saw a bunch of those Art Digital huge boxes. Quite a few of the Smart Cycles. Saw one Little Einsteins laptop. One find that SHOCKED ME was the vTech KidiJamz Studio keyboard marked-down 30%. I REALLY wanted to buy this for my kids this Christmas but couldn't find a better deal than $40 which was just too much.. Plus they sold out these things in all stores (including Target) long before Christmas so there was no hope for any sales!! Just FYI: I'm keeping them both!! I figure one will be a B-Day present for ds turning 2 (in April) with a bunch of little cars and trains to use with it. And the Circo table will be a Christmas present with the bigger Thomas sets to put on it. Plus the mini "Cars" sets I found on clearance and the Take-Along Thomas sets. Can someone post a picture or a link to this. I'm having a hard time picturing exactly what this is??

BTW: Now that I'm trying to verify prices by punching in the DCPI numbers I have found two Targets that have plain scanners without the buttons on the right.. What is that about?? So there's nothing I can do in that case, right??

I think I got the 3 chapsticks & 1 lip balm (haven't had time to unpack yet and have already forgotten which ones I ended up buying) for 75%. I saw lots of these last week but Today I checked two Targets and only found like 2 packages in one Target. The other package was with 3 lip glosses also at 75%. I'm wondering if your Christmas packs had a little red ribbon tying the package?? Because I saw one with two chapsticks I think and it scanned at 0.0. The cashier asked me about it and I told her I think this is a Christmas item and should be 90% off. Well she ended up calling a very rude manager who told me all Christmas stuff has gone back to regular price so she wanted to charge me 4.95 and I said - No Thanks! I thought that was very silly seeing how all the others have went down to 75% yet this one is going back to full price, but whatever!! I wonder who would want to buy it with a red ribbon??

**I think I might have been the 1st to mention the Thomas stuff - wondering if that's the list you are talking about. I did find quite a few take-along Thomas trains and 3 Thomas sets. One I found Today and it was that Holiday train set thing. Also I found one with two take-along trains and the little set and I have been seeing that one in the regular isle. Never bothered to scan it though as I already bought it. I've thought a few times about scanning some more of those sets but somehow the idea of dragging the whole isle worth of Thomas stuff to the scanner didn't seem like a good one at the time! Could you poss. post the names of the ones you found and DCPI numbers so I can take a look next time I'm in Target. I have to say my ds is only almost 2 so I have no idea if these sets work together or how the whole thing works.. I guess I better do some research quick..

I went Today to check it out and didn't see anything at all even remotely interesting. Most signs said 60% off and there were also 70% off seasonal I think.

Our mall has Nordstrom, Macy's and Lord & Taylor so I got: Lancome mascara at Lord & Taylor Some facial lotion (can't remember brand) at Nordstrom Lancôme Hypnôse Shower Gel (I think that was the biggest bottle of all) at Macy's Also by some weird chance I got Chanel, Inc - Coco Mademoiselle body lotion from an older woman who must have felt sorry for me! I happened to take our double-stroller Today with me to the mall (even though I only had ds1 with me) and after I got my Lancome Hypnose Shower Gel from Macy's I was trying to put the stroller into the trunk but realized I didn't know how to close it. I kept calling my hubby and getting a bit upset and this older man tried to help me but he couldn't figure it out either. Well after he left, as they were driving by us, his wife stepped out of the car and handed me this Chanel lotion and said that she got it from Macy's but she didn't need it. So I gladly took it. (BTW I finally had my hubby look up the manual and tell me over the phone how to fold the darn thing, so I was on my way then...) Wish I could pick up Christian Dior Perfume but o well.. BTW: Around 3 it wasn't too crowded so DS1 and I only waited like 5 min. at Macy's and Lord & Taylor and around 15 min. at Nordstrom. Though ds1 was asleep the whole time so I was happy. By the time we were leaving though (prob. around 4 or 5) the lines were getting loooonger. How many days do you think this will last for??

**Thanks! Sounds interesting. So these will go 90% or did you buy them with Christmas clearance? Also does anyone know if Target is giving out free make-up Today?? There is a thread about a settlement that mentions Target along with Macy's and Nordstrom and some other stores to begin this Today but when I read the settlement there was no mention of Target in there.. So not sure..

**O yeh, that reminds me I saw some sports stuff as well at 50%. I am especially interested in some of those tennis rackets (Dora ones) for DD3 for summer. Those should go to 75% too, right?
