I've been to two diff. Targets, one yesterday and one Today and have finding to report from both but my receipt from yesterday is somewhere upstairs (ds1 is sleeping) so I'll have to add that in a bit. So I finally found Diego bike helmet at 75% for 3+. Can't believe they actually had two of them. I kept seeing 5+ and didn't even think they made 3+ but they did and I got it! Now if I can only find a girl's one for 5+ at 75% I'd be all set. :) ###082-01-0476 Diego Helmet 3+ $4.98 (75%) No bulk items at this store. Saw lots of LED book reading lights for 75%. I guess no one wants them. Lots of children sticker/activity books I'd be interested in but still only at 50%. They moved them to electronics end-isle though.. Also cd wallets at 75%. Saw Thomas take-along one-pks. and 3-pks. at 50% (as prev. mentioned by the poster above.) And some tracks and brige pk at 50%. I thought that was super weird that some of these new toys are being discounted. I thought for sure there won't be any more discounts in Toys for a while. Also there were some card games at 50% as well. Same end-cap in Toys section. They actually still had about a quarter of a half isle of Toys left at 75%. Some bears and electronic toys and some kind of plastic purple rainbow playset.. I have a question though.. if/when do they usually discount ride-on toys? Thanks!

You've just missed Target Toys 75% Clearance - I do believe they had some LPS stuff.. But there's some kind of Clearance going on at Walmart. It's all over the board so some things are discounted very little and some are discounted a little more. Nothing like 75% though.. I'm also not sure if/when they will discount Toys more. You might want to go to Offline Forum - Walmart Toys Thread and ask the question there. Good Luck!

I finally decided to go for two pairs last night. Will see how it turns out!

**Actually I'm pretty sure Amazon doesn't do free return shipping, exchanges, etc. I think the only thing you might get away with is if the product is defective (I'm not entirely sure on this one, but I know hubby ordered a leather jacket recently and there were some issues with it and he ended up ordering another one. Now, I know there would be no way he would pay retun shipping.) I was looking through some reviews on some of these shoes and I think that's what some people were comlaining about (having to pay return shipping to Amazon) because it sounds like some of these might run larger.. Amazon used to be A LOT more accomodating too, but recently it hasn't been the case AT ALL! They seemed to have moved all of their customer service to India and they never budge on anything!! I'm speaking from experience with 2 recent encounters with them.. They don't do PA either (it's something silly like over $25 difference on single item within 7 days!!) While hubby and I have been very happy long-term Amazon customers before, with all their new policies and attitude, now we double-guess every single purchase.

I don't know if these are a good quality or not (but the Buster Brown ones seem to be leather). I saw this easel Today at Target. I haven't seen it before Today and wasn't aware that Target even carries this one. This might be something they just newly stocked on.. Well I have this one, as someone gave this to my kids for Christmas, bought at Amazon. We've never opened it because I don't see much use to it (seems like you have to buy paper for it and there's no chalk board.) Plus I already bought another one also Rose Art for $5 (75%). Can I return this to Target without a receipt?? Also if I just saw it Today at one store does that mean all stores will be able to take it or should I go back to that store?? (Should I hurry because if they sell these out they might no longer have DCPI in their system and they will not be able to take it back?) Sorry, I'm confused on how this works.. Went to Target Tonight. Maybe I should have picked a different one to go to because I barely saw any bulk items at this one. No diapers/wipes/coffee - very dissapointed. Only saw two-packs of Dove Body Wash in sensitive skin unscented and other flavors.. (I'm pretty sure this Target is behind in their mark-downs so none of the bulk stuff was at 50% yet) Also noticed a 20" girl's bike (not sure of the brand but had Hawaiian type motive) down to 4x.xx from 8x.xx. Saw at least 3 of these all with red tags. I guess that makes it down to 50% and I imagine no one is even noticing them because there's no sign or anything. Also saw two more junior Tennis rackets (boy's & girl's ones) - Wilson - 25 (I guess that's for 10 yrs. plus or minus??) Again one of these was hiding all the way next to the wall, facing backwards and had about 10 non-clearanced ones on top of it. I just noticed the different design and had to take a look.. Also saw some very cute lamp shades at 50% - Pink, Purple, Green and Blue-Jeans... Def. could have used some for kids' rooms but there were no lamp legs so I decided to see whether I can get some of these at 75%. This store still had some Toys at 75% too.. Mostly junk though.. Was very surprised to see one Smores but the box looked kinda torn so must have been a return. It still has a 30% sticker price and 50% sign in-front of it so I guess that's why it's still there. Next to electronics I saw some cd wallets at 75% on an end-cap. I believe there might be two diff. versions of this guy. One is more expansive because he comes with better "Cars" 3 cars and the other comes with diff ones. I'm not completely sure, just happened to read a few reviews and I think that was their point.

I'm in CT so we don't have Bloomies or Neiman Marcus but we def. have Lord and Taylor. I didn't realize they carried Uggs. This has been my favorite store before they became all fancy and expensive. But it will def. work if I can go and try Uggs there. Thanks!

**I just looked at Dillard's store locator map and looks like the majority of their stores are located btwn central and southern-eastern U.S. Nothing up here in NY, Mass, CT and so on.. Sounds like a great store though.. sure hope they will reach the Northern part sometimes soon.. Do they have Uggs at Macy's?? I think I've tried looking on-line before and they had some other comparable brand but no Uggs?? **Just looked at Macy's website again and they only have EMU(?) there.. ***Hmm.. **Wonder if they'll last till tomorrow. I want to wait for the books/toys to do mark-downs (if any) and then venture out. BTW: I never noticed much difference btwn some of these larget sizes of diapers. Since DD is two years older than DS, DS was in sizes 4,5 since he was like a year old.. Cause we were always running out of his smaller sizes and then we discovered these larget sizes fit him just fine. Not sure which ones cost less but for us it was more convenient to buy one size of diapers for the both of them..

Thanks for the suggestion on the brands. I will have to keep my eyes open for any deals on these! The prices are a little too steep for me though. I try not to spend more than $20 for a pair of shoes for my kids, because they grow out of them so quickly.. That's why I'm always looking for 60% deals!!

I feel like I should offer my two cents on this as well: The same thing happened to Amazon Dec. Toys clearance thread, where whoever started that thread (I guess prob. a moderator) would wipe out EVERY SINGLE POST that didn't include a DEAL! I found that VERY RUDE because some of those would have been very helpfull to keep. I seriously considered never reading that post ever again and quite a few times I refrained from posting the deals because it just wasn't worth it to me.. Throughout that whole sale I had no idea whether something was A GOOD DEAL OR NOT because there was literally no discussion on anything what-so-ever. (And yes..there was a separate thread in the discussion forum..but I know no one read it..cause I didn't get any of my questions answered there...) I also have to add that I Loved reading that same thread last year and found it very helpfull but had the complete oppositve experience this year. I really hope the same thing will not happen to this Target thread because I've Loved Reading Everyone's Comments So Far and Found Most of the Information on Here Very Helpfull and Very Relevant!!! (I understand why Brad removed the FP DVD discussion though..cause that was turning into a heated debate over morals and such and that is clearly against the rules of this website)

That's what I thought about the drinks!! That kinda beats the purpose for me!! I mean I realize it's just a dollar or so, but the whole breakfast was only $4 to begin with plus count gas (cause all these people wouldn't normally drive that way on that day) I think they should have went all out and offered free soda, juice and coffee. This way they still made money they wouldn't have otherwise... I was seriously considering bringing my own iced-tea, juice and soda (just for the principal sake!!) but then decided against going at all..

So I have yet to try UGG Boots for sizing and such.. The problem is I don't know where to go to see these Boots in person. I've tried Nordstrom and The Walking Company a few weeks ago but neither one carried sizes 7/8. I think Nordstrom was completely out of any sizes. So I'm guessing this might be due to my timing (seeing how the Winter is almost over) but I would Love to get some UGGs for my B-Day (Feb 27th). Is there any other stores/booths out there that sell these?? (I know Victoria Secret sells these on-line but do they ever carry them in stores??) So it seems Gorilla Mountain is a hit with everybody!! Thank you for all the replies! My only concern about this one is, I don't know when I want to give this to DS. I already got him so much stuff (esp. Thomas and McQueen) and it's only his 2nd B-Day that's coming up. Ideally I think this would be a perfect present for his 3-rd B-Day but do I really want to hang on to a toy for over a year?? The reason I love this one though is that it's the only Toy I found that doesn't involve cars or a race track, etc. It's seems like a very unique playset with all of those cute big plastic animals. I also got lucky as I only saw one of these at 75% and the reason I was able to pick it up is because I was the 1st one at that store on that 1st Thursday morning when Toys were discounted to 75%. That's also how I lucked out with lots of Thomas take-along engines.. Who knows if during the next Toys clearances I can be as lucky!!

Can someone please recommend some good winter shoes (boots) for dd3 and ds1. I'm looking for the store where to buy them and the brand. This winter I bought some boots for dd that have suade like material on the outside and fake furr on the inside from Kohl's. Well everytime she goes outside in the snow her feet get soaking wet (which is not good considering she's in daycare and they don't always change her into different shoes/socks afterwards) I've also bought my ds1 duckboots (sp?) from Kohl's and these look like they weight a ton and not very comfortable on his feet. So I'm at a loss here... I usually buy their spring/fall/summer shoes from Amazon from some of those expensive European companies but when I can find them at 70% off which makes them only like $17 a pair. These are all real leather and cushi and extremely good looking (actually wish they made some for me :)) but I haven't seen any boots there. I'm looking to buy some for next year but might have to buy some for this year as well, at least for DD... Thanks!!!

Just wanted to mention that I understand where you're coming from though.. Even though we can all read reviews on Amazon (or some place else) for most of these Toys they are not always as relevant because one would imagine someone who bought the same Toy for 3 times the price might have different expectations and different level of satisfaction. There are a lot of Toys that I bought that I wouldn't return even if I hear someone else had a bad experience with them but there are a few I'm still undecided about.
