**Yeh, I would have waited a bit if it was one of the fancier restaurants serving a three course meal (a steak or a lobster or something like that..) Just curious though.. were the drinks included or did one have to pay for those??

**What was % on the lamps? Anything for the kids? I need two lamps for my kids rooms but I'm not even sure I saw anything I liked at Target for kids.. I did see some lamp shades which I thought would be cute for DD but it was 50% and I would have gotten it at 75%. Prob. gone by now. They were on the end cap last week. -

I'm wondering for all those finding MM's do you just find them because you get there 1st thing in the morning? I never get to Target at opening (usually either after 10 a.m. or after 6 p.m.) so I figure I won't have any luck finding any MM's at that time and get too lazy to check. Do you think they can stock up on them any time of the day or is it just the certain time of the day that you get lucky?? I wouldn't mind checking that isle if I knew I had a real chance on finding some but not if I'm just wasting my time.. Thanks! -
What kind of merchandise do they have at the stores now?? Anything good for summer yet or is it still too early? I really need some deals for toddler boys' summer clothes (seeing how Gymboree only had girls stuff for 1.99 :))

I drove by it around 12:00 and saw the line out the door and lots of cars still pulling into the driveway.. It was starting to snow too so really wasn't in the mood to have to wait outside with ds1. Figured we'd be only saving 12 bucks (since they serve this same deal weekdays for $4 and there would be 3 of us with hubby) so really wasn't worth fighting the mob. Opted for Chinese buffet instead.. At least they motivated me to take a shower, put on make-up and get out of the house this morning, so it was all good :). (I've been loosing my motivation lately, now that Target Toys sale is over and there's no more free make-up at the mall and no more Gymboree $4.99 ($1.99) crazy deals! :)

How was the Grand Slam? :) More importantly, how long was the wait?

**But technically - you can sit down, order your meal, ask for a doggie bag and walk out of there, right?

Never heard about pyrex. I will have to do some research on it. Can you buy it at Target? We usually just stick a microwavable plate in but the real challenge has been figuring out how to send dd3 lunch to daycare so it can be microwaved. They don't allow glass or anything that breaks.. I guess hubby was saying even those ChefBoy RDs (sp?) are packaged in plastic bowls and even frozen lunches are supposedly not that safe (even though I do eat those sometimes.) We do use mostly Corelle dishes at our house (LOVE how light they are) but who knows if those are even safe?? -

**I hear yah! :) You know we actually had one of these until recently (got it as a wedding present more than 10 yrs. ago.) I guess it finally got too old as it burned a whole right through it. Wouldn't you know, we have never used the insert. Just used it as a regular pot. Not even sure why we didn't. I don't even know if I knew that's how you're supposed to use it. I guess maybe it's time to look for a new one. It seemed kind of chincy and too lightweight. That might be the whole point though but is there a good one out there that's not so thin?? -

**It's so hard to find any usefull dishes/cookware nowdays. Everything either causes cancer or is bad or whatever! Makes it a lot harder to save a buck too! My hubby has thrown all of our tephlone (sp?) cookware a while back cause it causes cancer if scratched and used..so now we only use stainless steel (too bad for me it weights A TON - esp. when I have to flip it over to drain pasta..that's a real work out) We also don't put anything plastic in a microwave so all of those things are pretty much a waste in our house.. I'm frankly mostly confused on what is safe in that department so I live it up to him to buy that stuff (he's the cook in our family in anyway so I'm at a loss as to what most of that stuff is for anyways...) -

Is there a schedule for Color Wonder stuff to go on clearance? I remmember reading about Tinker Bell ones being sold super cheap a while back but never found any.. Also I wonder if I read the thread from last year (this time period) will that give me an idea what to look for being clearanced next or is it completely different from year to year.. I guess maybe someone who has shopped at Target for years can answer this one. Thanks. -
We have one in 5 min. distance from house but I'm wondering what the crowds will be like. I HATE eating in a crowded restaurants, so I'm pretty sure I'm not going to go..

One thing I only thought of as an afterthought but with all of these GREAT Toy Prices it is nice to pick things up for grandparents house if the kids spend any time there. My dd3 and ds1 have just started going consistently once a week to see their grandparents so if this trend continues I know I will be looking for some games and building/crafts kinds of things comes Summer clearance. I've sent kids on Saturday with Playskool Clipo Creativity Table and they all had a blast!!! -
where do you buy birthday wrapping paper
arelf27 replied to steph3306's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
They have these recycable bags for $1 or so (maybe $1.99??) not really sure on the price but I have seen them everywhere.. That might be a good idea to buy these instead as they don't have to be thrown out and the person who gets the present can prob. find some use for it.. They have them at Kohl's so maybe buy these in advance with one of those coupons (15%, 30%) for cardholders. They are not that pretty though.. I did buy one at Kohl's just to try it out but instead of using for a gift has been using it to organize all of my kids books as I'm still on a hunt for a book shelf.. Well it's been holding up very well. Still looks like new! -

It was very slow for me this morning but I did see some on sale. I only looked at Maryland though (sp?) because these are the ones I want but they only had sizes 9,10 left.. -
So that's on Tuesday?

**I used to wear 7 but now wear 8 (prob. due to pregnancies) but I remember measuring my foot with their chart and it looked like 7 is my size for Uggs. I think I found one you can print out somewhere on the web (maybe their site)? You can do a search but I've also been told by someone who owns Uggs that they run big and to get one size down. Because you wear them without socks and they have to be tight to your foot. -

**My kids are HUGE Little Einsteins fans, so I don't really care if the rockets do anything else other than look exactly like the rocket from the cartoon but from Amazon's description it does appear that this rocket has some cool features. I guess it transforms into three different things (exactly like the one in the cartoon) and the rocket understands each diff. transformation and says diff. phrases according to what it looks like at the moment. Also I think it's programmable so it can drive in a circle, 8 and some other shapes.. It does only come with one character (Leo.) I do wish it came with all of them though (Leo, June, Quincy, Annie.) You can buy them separately though... Also I thought these will make a perfect Valentine's present, them being red and all :) -

I finally got the Dora Tennis Rocket - 19" for DD3 for 3.84 (75%). I've seen these at lower % at one Target and was hoping to pick one up at 75% but they were all gone. Then Today I found 3 at a Target I haven't been to in a while. They were kind of hidden behind some other non-clearanced adult ones and the side with a clearance sticker was facing the wall. I checked on bike helmets but only saw Diego 5+ at 75%. Unfortunately I need a girls one 5+ and boys one 3+. I've been seeing so many items lately clearanced at one store but full price at other stores. I don't understand why that it? Like all that Eddie Bauer stuff (digital key chain, LED light), bike helmets, shoes. I saw those princess girls shoes and a bunch of boys shoes on clearance at one store but full price in another.. Is there any chance these will get discounted shortly or not until Spring clearance? Also can anyone tell me when is the next shoe clearance? -

**Thanks! Yes, that's the one I've been seeing with the clearance sign next to it. I've been scanning it periodically but it's been coming up at 30% at the most. Maybe I'll go and try it Today. Hopefully they still have some left. We use Corelle as our everyday dishes and we already have two sets (no cups though) but I don't care too much about it matching. I just love the way it's so light and supposedly not easy to break as we do have two little ones. Although I have to say I had a cereal bowl fall into a sink once and it smashed into a million little pieces. Kind of reminded me of the safety glass.. Not sure if that's better than farfor (sp?) breaking. -

This is from 1st page of this thread: While not technically a clearance topic, in this thread, you may see reference to MM Juice or MM packs. These refer to 10 packs of Minute Maid juice boxes that can generally be bought for $.69. They are found in the juice aisle mixed in with the 15 packs. This usually includes only the Grape, Apple & Fruit Punch flavors -- never Orange Juice. They look exactly like the 15 packs which are generally stocked on the shelf, but instead of having 3 rows of 5 boxes, there are only 2 rows. They are often mixed in with the others, and even hidden in the back behind the 15 packs. You may go months or longer before you find your first set, but they really do exist. They are not an urban legend. And most of us can attest that you'll do a little dance in the aisle when you find them the first time.
