**I agree with you on checking out stuff ahead of time!! I find that I find the best deals at Target when things are not marked or marked incorrectly but I know that they should be 75%. This is the 1st time I was shopping V-Day stuff..so lesson learned for next year :) We too have lots of pixos here.. I bought 3 to try them out. (Bought a whole kit of some other type of beads during Amazon Toy sale too, so maybe dd3 and I can compare which is better)

I've only been to TGI Friday's once a very loong time ago. I was still back as school and we were with a group of friends and I remember the whole restaurant was like a big bar and TV's everywhere and everyone smoking.. Is that just my memory playing a trick on me or were we just sitting at the bar or what?? I mean are they more like a loud Sports Bar type of restaurant or do they have normal booths? How's the food? Grandparents are taking kids tomorrow so I'm wondering if me and hubby should go there but I really don't like very loud places. Our favorite restaurant is Olive Garden and Sushi type restaurants.. Should we go or skip?? Any favorite menu meals anyone cares to share?? Thank You!!

I've bought 2 Christmas presents this year (Toys) and had no problems shipping them over to my cousin in Colorado. One was sold by Amazon and the other sold from Target but fulfilled by Amazon. She also bought and send presents for me and I got them just fine. I did wanted to mention one hiccup though in both of our transactions. This might be common knowledge (althought this was news to me and to her) but apparently they attach a gift receipt/note (if you choose to include one) on the outside of the box that is mailed under an address shipping label I think. It is not noticable at all and you really have to know that that is what they do or you will not find it!! So there's nothing inside the actual box. So when my cousin and her hubby got the present they had no clue who it was from or why or whatever.. I was also confused when I opened the box and there was no note and no receipt inside (well apparently my hubby knew exactly where the receipt was..so go figure..)

Ohh..forgot to mention something else..I found a whole endcap of V-Day cards still at full price yesterday?? What's going on with those?? Anyone knows how that stuff works for clearancing?? (It was right next to V-Day 75% clearance shelves but everything was ringing orig. price) Thanks!

How do you know which ones have been discounted 75%? Are they all smaller pkgs?? I'm mostly interested in Color Wonder/Explosion things.. (There are lots of discounts in that area now but not 75%, more like 30% I think...the things you found were discounted 75% right??) I'm having a hard time with some of these V-day things which don't have red tags and no orig. price printed anywhere on the pkg. so it's hard to know what's going on. Like the crayon pkgs. I found .49 cents (I had to stop by regular isle and check if that was a good price..) Wish these things had Valentines motive or something (like they did for Christmas) There's nothing in the kitchen cleaning though..huh?? I'm runningn low on those dishwasher tabs from Christmas.. What do these color wonders look like? (small or large?, only Tinkerbell?) I'll be heading out in an hour and want to check the regular isle... Anyone know if the clearance books got discounted? I've been seeing a lot of these on the end caps near electronics in most stores though a good amount is still left in the regular isle as well. (All day yesterday I thought was a Thursday..duh :) so now I need to go again cause they discount books on Thursdays..)

How low does the $1 section go? When will Easter $1 stuff go on sale? I've been to two Targets in the last two days checking out V-Day stuff and both times forgot to check the $1 spot. Also pixos $1.49 (Anyone knows if these are any good?) Can't believe the clearance books are still 50%. I have been watching these for 3 wks. now. Though I did score Count with Elmo sound book (059110166.) It comes with a pen and you can write on the pgs. cause they are all like a dry-eraser board. This was NOF and the nice mgr. told the cashier this was a discontinued item so they let me have it for $2.98. Also found Care Bears DVD (###058102130 - $2.25) Found only one in V-Day section but it was ringing $9. It is a V-Day one and includes a V-Day card. The nice mgr. let me have it for 75% off which I was very excited about it until we tried to watch it. Weird thing is it's from 1988??? Not like the other Care Bears (it has people in there as well) (Personally I don't want my kids watching these old cartoons cause I would need to watch it first to make sure it is safe.. I mean we were recently watching an oldy one about Christmas and a snowman and I was horrified to see it smoking a cigar!!) (Anyone has any experience with buying these at Target??)

Just talked to hubby and looks like there's no minimum as he was able to use it on his order of a cap and a winter hat. (he said it pretty much covered the shipping..) I think he got Colts!! Thanks OP!

V-Day stuff 75% in CT - candy and misc. Dollar spot must have been 30%. I didn't specifically look at it but found 2 things with red dot and $1 price with VD stuff ringing up at 30%.. Will have to pull out my receipt tomorrow to record the other goodies I got - bath stuff..

I thought 4th day after Holiday would make it a Wednesday.. Wasn't going to go to Target until tomorrow. Am I counting wrong or have they marked down earlier than usual? Is everyone else's Target marked to 75% too?

**I think this year especially, I got really spoiled by all of the awesome deals being posted on this board and managing to hit all of the awesome offline sales. The Gymboree $4.99 Rhinestones sale has been especially awesome (and price matching most of the things I've bought down to $1.99 was trully unbelievable.) (Esp. since Gymboree is my favorite store - LOVE-LOVE quality and look of their clothes. My kids have been in Gymboree clothes pretty much since their birth - all bought at 60% off on-line at the end of the season for next season.) I've also been able to get a few things for the kids at Old Navy's extra 50% off of clearance prices sale and bought a bunch of things for them at JCPenney's $4.99 and $1.99 sale with additional 40% on top of that. I've also bought a bunch of things for myself at Cold Water Creek with addit. 60% off code (if I remmember that % number correctly.) Also I try to buy my kids all of those European makers (all leather) shoes from Amazon 60% off making them around $17-$20 down from $40-$60. (Those are unbelievably cute and look so comfortable I wish they made adult shoes :).) I think for adults Sierra Trading Post had some awesome deals in previous years but I haven't been able to find anything recently.. (Only bought from them once in anyway so I might be wrong on that one..) Lately my favorite hobby has been stalking Target :). 75% Toys clearance has been awesome!! My basement looks like a Toy store now :). I guess my problem is, I don't like what Kohl's has to offer. I've always liked/trusted Brand names which are not plentiful at Kohl's. I don't know maybe it's just the Kohl's in my area but the store doesn't have that much of anything. The toy section is tiny and so are the rest of the departments with very little variety of anything.. Now I thought their BF sale was awesome though! I LOVED how I could stay home and order all of those nice blankets and home things and use a % code on top of that! (Although I have to admit I didn't know about Target 75% off sales then yet and wasn't following the Perimeter Perusing thread so this year might be different.)

Actually Target has a lot of the bookcases 75% off now so that is around 30 something.. Some of them are for the kids room (I saw white and dark brown) around kids furniture section on Thu./Fri. Also around bath/furniture isle I saw one on the end cap. Check out Target Offline forum discussion for the shelves deals people have been posting there (the last few pages) These are prob. going quickly so I wouldn't wait too long to go if you are interested in some of these..

Maybe the scenario is, if they find some merchandise and it hasn't been claimed then they hold it for 24 hrs. but after that they put it back on the floor - I can understand that. But you called them and told them it is yours so I really don't think they can claim it in any way.. Logically it should be treated the same way as if they found your wallet. I mean seriously, they wouldn't put that on back on their floor or tell you it is theirs because you didn't come to claim it in their time frame.. The only question is what would they do if they found your wallet and you called them to say you can't claim it right away? They might tell you it's ok for you to show up a few days later or their policy might be they don't want to hold on to anything (because of legal, storage or other reasons) in which case they will prob. turn it over to police or whatever other organization that handles missing property.. They might even throw it away after 24 hrs. but they should surely not put it back on the floor because you did call and claim it.. I think you should tell them if they put it back on the floor you will call police and tell them they stole your property..

Our store didn't have additional % off but they did have clearance 70%, 75%, 80% (or something like that..) clearance shelfs throughout the whole store... I also noticed things scanned lower than the clearance price (it said something like "gold price" which was a few dollars below the final clearance price) I spent 2 hrs. in the store but still only found 4 things: Nike sport suit for dd3, Chaps long sleeve t-shirt for ds1, coffee football (colectors) mug for hubby and bought Oral-B rechargable tooth brush for me (not on clearance but on sale for $20 down from $25) Plus I used my in-store 30% coupon. Even with all the sales I still couldn't believe how expensive everything is at Kohl's. I think unless you have 30% off code on-line/off-line it's not even worth bothering.. imho.
