What I got: DVD's and Blu-Rays from Amazon; actually have been getting those for the past week or so Wal-Mart: Battlefield 3, COD 4 & Uncharted 2 all for PS3, Princess Tiana doll w/ stroller and bed, candy land, chutes & ladders Target: Imaginext T-Rex, various dvd's and Wii games I left home @8PM and was back by 1:10AM, up again @ 5:30 as a local shoe store had Uggs at 10% off. All in all, this year I did more purchasing online and I have enjoyed it. All of my big purchases with the exception of the leappad are complete.

Yes, the code works. I receive texts from Hollister and I received this one this morning and since I had a balance on a gift card, it made it even sweeter. More gifts for DS15 knocked out!

Generally, with gaming consoles the serial # is scanned to. More than likely, Wal-Mart would know that it wasn't purchased there.

Havent seen it but it was on DS15 list. It arrived today; the price is too good to resist for blu-ray with digital copy.

Not the OP, but Coach runs Preferred Customer Events. They are usually 25% off or $100 off of $300+

They've done the staggered sales before and it's gone okay. Also, I would hope that most people would not show up on Thanksgiving without even knowing what's in the ad but you never know. Fwiw, the commercial I've seen does show electronics @ midnight. Not all electronics but most of the major ones...

The ad was pretty clear on what time the products were going on sale; no need for any rioting when you're waiting in a warm building as we're told in advance...

Since I do the bulk of my cooking Wednesday night, I get up around 5:00, head to Wawa and get a newspaper. I would normally then head to K-Mart but I do not think I'm going this year. I'll go get Krispy Kreme for the family, come home watch the parade and football games while checking online stores; will buy if the deal is right. We do not eat at a set time; whenever the majority are hungry. Around 6 or 7, I'll drop the kids off to my mom's and then I'll be off to Wal-Mart, looking to get there between 8:00-8:30.

We go every year and enjoy it; they just sent me an email about it but we're at Sam's just about every weekend anyway. It's a running joke in our family that we don't eat before going to Sam's so we can taste all the samples :)

It only comes in 4gb and 250gb as a new purchase now; you son must have an older system.

WalMart is notorious for things having a different SKU for special sales. So just because they have something in stock today does not necessarily mean that it will be the item on sale on BF, based on the SKU...

Wouldn't work on BF ads as layaway is closed that day...

I got 2 of the $250 Toshiba laptops from Best Buy last year on Thanksgiving Day. Had to get up at like 3 am to do it but they're still running great and were worth it.

The difference is 160 GB. It really depends on who the console is for if they can fill it up; casual gamer versus serious gamer. For DS15, the 160 GB will never be filled as this will be 1 of 5 systems that he plays and has games for.

It usually takes me a week or do doing at least an hour or so a night. Last year I was home on maternity leave so it was easier to wrap when the baby and DS4 took their naps. This year I am planning on starting BF weekend even though I already have a tote filled and expecting more shipments this week. I also really want to make the presents look pretty this year; ribbons and bows and all :)

I got this deal as well. DS does not want the games rumored to be in the holiday bundle and he doesn't need the 320 gb one do this will be fine.

I have a Christmas station on Pandora that I've been listening to. I have also put a few cd's in my truck but I only listen when I'm alone :) DH would go crazy and say its too soon.
