My DH side of the family likes to do White Elephant gifts (roughly a $10 gift or less). You play the game by everyone taking a number...#1 gets to pick 1st gift, #2 can pick a gift to unwrap or steal #1, then #1 has to pick a new gift and on and on. DH's work has decided to do the same so I will need 5 gifts total. So far I bought an Angry Birds first aid kit at Walmart for 9.88 It was cute and there are nieces and nephews who could actually use this. A plastic bowl with peanuts, popcorn and candy and a movie totaling around $10 I need more ideas. I'm thinking of a coffee mug with a Starbucks GC Walmart had a Martini set but it was a little more than I wanted to pay. I kind of want to bring at least 1 dirty gift to each event....I saw toilet paper with Obamas face on it that I thought was hilarious but I don't have time to order off the internet now. I procrastinated to long for that

My Walmart price matches anything except % off and B1G1 (including store brands). I have always brought the ad with me. Most cashiers don't check them so I write in sharpee the product and price on the front, then I circle the product with a sharpee in case they do want to look at it. Makes it easier to spot.

I haven't been to my Wags since last weekend...still 50% at that time but they didn't have ANY wrapping paper left. I was bummed, I always get my wrapping paper for the next year. Walmart was completely out as well. I ended up getting it at Staples.

Just FYI I got the Bissell steam clean last year at Kohls. Great deal. Only used it once ~ then had to take it to a dealer to have it fixed (covered under warranty but a pain in the butt trying to find one that did warranty work/had to drive 50 miles each way twice to drop off and pick up). The dealer told me they fix tons of them every week because they clog up so bad. Now we make sure and run clean water through it good before putting it away.

I probably won't use the steam feature either, except to freshen up something that's been in the closet awhile or brand new. I wasn't planning on purchasing that but this deal was a better machine for the same or better price as some of the non-steam models. Plus it was a 4.5 cu feet/most were only 4. I'm happy with my purchase....I just hope the washer/dryer works well!!

Just bought a Maytag set at The Home Depot for $929 (after $250 mail-in-rebate). Total out of pocket tonight with warranty was $1389.16 but we got a gas/not electric dryer.
