Have you checked on Freecycle? Maybe you could find one of the smaller ones there. Just a thought! Then you'd have even more $$$ on BF

Our WalMart lets you use coupons as well. I haven't gone over their coupon amount though.

It wasn't last year but,the year a miracle happened and the lady in the wheel chair sprung up and RAN inside. She asked to cut in line to get out of the drizzle and cold and we let her go to the front of the line.

I think that was such a Great Idea from Bugsette I'm sending you some GD points. Hope you can use them! I usually carry a purse with a longer handle and put it over my head and across my body. But I clean out my purse and only take what I really need for that day. I also keep cash in my front pocket along with my bank card.

Yep mmm40 you usually can get a feel for people around you and believe they'll hold your spot for you. If you have any doubts -don't go! And the offer to pick them up something is a great idea! Heck maybe I should keep a baggy with snack size candy bars in my pocket to bribe them with!

I overheard one lady last year say something about a coffee can with catlitter in it. She was talking to the guy that she was with he, he said there's no way I'll hold it. With the wind gusts last (snow blowing sideways with white out conditions) year and below zero temps I don't know how much luck he'd have going outside somewhere! Wouldn't it freeze the second it hit the air-- umm sideways? ROFL OK little too graphic. Now I have cats and drink a lot of coffee so I have cans and litter, but Oh Heck NO! I just wonder what she did with the can afterwards?

OK I know this isn't the same store but at our Giant Eagle I've hit there limit before. Once the cashier told me to end the transaction and bring the receipt over to their register and she manually handled the coupons and they went through. All the other times I've hit the limit the cashier usually just comes over and puts it in cashier mode and they all go through. I've never had that happen anywhere else.

Couldn't they file SNAD with Ebay and try to get their $$ back? I hope they did and got their money back! These are the types of things that make me afraid of buying them from there.

Give the Heat Wraps a try. They're easy to take off and if you need to move them you can. I had one around my waist with the heat in back but it kept my whole upper body very warm. I think this year I'll also wear one for my butt! Plus the heat helped my lower back with having to stand for so many hours.

I Love BF just as much as the next person but to me this kind of stuff is Way outta line. It may have been an accident, I of course have no idea, but my gosh. I've seen a lot of nastiness on BF and it's just pitiful. One man actually slammed a pregnant woman into the door to get in front of her when they opened the doors. Her head hit pretty hard. WTH?! Wonder what some of these people teach their children? On the flip side I've also seen a lot of good on BF. People helping someone they just met in line get at least one of whatever they're looking for. One year someone had an extra pair of gloves and gave them to someone else in line that forgot theirs. Sometimes it's just the little things that mean the most.

It's THE only way I do it! lol DH is the type of person that walks slower than a turtle all the while browsing the store. There is no way in heck I'd take him or he'd even want to go with me. He loves the $$$ we save but still thinks I'm a bit nuts. He knew I was a little nutty before he married me so it's too late. I'm not the kind of person to go shopping all day or browse around. I like to know what I'm going in for, get it and move on to the next store or errand I need to get done. Plus I just naturally walk fast and Lon (DH) walks s l o w. I'm just happy he likes to stay home on BF and lets (and trusts) me to make the decisions on what to buy or not to. I'm getting too excited just thinking about all of this! WoW I think there should be a support group for the die hard Black Friday Shoppers!

It would be a sad sad day in this house if I had to miss BF. I don't know what I'd do.

For a second I thought maybe you were in the same line as me. But I was at Kohls in Ohio and the same thing happened. It gave us all a good laugh! The Craziest thing I seen was one year when a woman sprung up from a wheelchair and sprinted into KBToys. This was after we all let her cut in line because it was cold and raining (lightly) out. She asked and we said sure you go right ahead. Boy were we shocked! Someone yelled "It's a Miracle":eyepoppin

I don't get into a certain brand I guess you would say. I have an entire village from my parents, they built it with a kit from back in the early 50's. And each year we buy a couplemore pieces when the stores have them on clearance.

LOL I know what you mean. I look decent (or at least I try to)but not overly done. Don't want to scare anyone! Some people in line have told me they did just get out of bed and jump in the car.

It would be a good idea/tip if you're in the middle of nowhere and need the local tow company and don't have a computer in your car. I know I've used 411 for that reason, came in handy.

OK this may sound odd to some but Hey it works! lol I wore Therma Care Heat Wraps under my clothes. I put them around my waist. When we got into the store I was able to take them off and throw them out. Otherwise waiting in line to checkout I've come very close to passing out from over heating. I've tried the Under Armor and those don't do much of anything at all. This year I know I"ll be covering my butt with one! lol I about froze it off last year.

I'll usually grab something to eat inbetween stores, so when I get home I'm not hungry , just tired. I leave everything in the back of the Explorer and just make sure it's covered and lock the doors. With the dark windows and being covered no one can see what's back there.

LOL This is the ONLY website listed for Deals on Black Friday! Way to go Cleveland and Fox 8 News! Man I REALLY wish our local stores would take computer printed coupons. Maybe I should call Target just to make sure, but I been turned down so many times at different stores I stopped trying.

Awww How Sweet !! Thank You to all for the Birthday wishes! LOL Now I feel bad that I didn't check back in this forum earlier. It was a very nice Brthday. Kind of sad though too, it was my moms brithday as well. I did go to the cemetery and put flowers on her grave as I have done every year since she died.
