Never a store bought one, but my MIL makes some that are so yummy! It takes about a month for her to make one. She has one she makes with peaches diced and other fruits.It's so moist and melts in your mouth. The first time she asked me if I would like some I said No Way that's nasty! LOL She asked if I ever had fresh baked ones, I never had, only seen the ones in the drug stores. I tried a little tiny piece then couldn't stop eating it!

I would be returning it as soon asap. That's way too much to pay for a babydoll and then for that to happen. And yep I agree with Bayhaysay they creep me out as well! lol I always look at them and think oh that thing is gonna start talking any second now. I think I watch too many movies.

I have my moms that was her moms so it's pretty old and I can't sew to save my life! lol I'm lucky if I can get a button sewn on. If I can't hot glue/super glue something I can just about forget it.

I do like some stuff from Old Navy but some of their things are very thin and made flimsy (sp?). What I would like to know with them is why oh WHY do they have the 'short' size jeans waaay up above alot of the other sizes? In our Old Navy the jeans for short people (Me LOL) are piled two shelves up from the 'Tall' sizes. And to try and find someone to help you once isn't too bad but then you go try them on and either want a different style or size whatever and you got to go find help again. Very time consuming and doesn't make much sense to me.I usually can find my sizes easier at Kohls too, well at least they are lower so I can reach them. Come on Old Navy help the 'Short People' out! Put them let's say maybe on the first shelf above the racks and the longer sizes above those.

Some of the Ads look like they have no door busters at all. How sad:gdcry: and I've seen better sales during the year on some things. Still some good stuff but nothing is really screaming out Buy Me! Maybe once I get the Ads in my hot little hands and really look them over side by side I'll find some things to get excited.

Well like I said before in another thread I don't think it's right for even one person to cut. If everyone in front of you did that, it could easily push you back far enough to not get any doorbusters. How would you feel about it then? Would that ONE person be OK then? I don't really think so. And it's not only SUV's that take up 2 spaces. I've seen small cars (that weren't even that nice) take up two spaces. I love the little expensive sports cars that just have to park as close as they can then take up two so no one parks next to them. Um yea ok. If you're THAT worried about it park out in no mans land and walk.

OMG I missed this reply! I've actually heard this too. A wife said it to her husband and he was the one to point out to her that they were actually two of "them crazy people" ! I had to chuckle.

Well I think I pretty much covered one of my main ones in another thread! ROFL Line Cutters/Savers. Another thing that irritates me is when you go to a bigger store and see Maybe only half of the registers up and running. Then you see some workers grouped in 3 or 4 talking about the shoppers ... "Oh did you see the woman that... " and "Oh yea I did but did you see that other guy doing ..." I mean come on if you can stand there at the end of the registers and chat away at all the funny or mean or odd people you just seen then you have time to help the cashiers bag or something like maybe stand there with an Ad just in case they need a price check!Hmm what an idea. I've also seen a worker or two hiding in some of the most remote corners of the store!!! ROFLMAO They look as if it's their first time working on BF and their sacred to death! Tee Hee I just give them a smile and maybe a little wave, so not to draw attention to them. I figure their sacred enough I don't want to put 'em over the edge. Just the look on their faces just pleaded with me not to ask them anything. Ok I'm done for now. I'm tired and going to bed! lol Have a Great night everyone

Oh I see your my husbands other woman!!! ROFL Just kidding Sounds alot like my DH though I do have to say. I know I've posted about my DH and shopping before but he's the type to hold the door for everyone else (but me!), normally he doesn't look where he's going. For example he'll pick something off the shelves and start walking down the isle towards me, all the while looking back at where he just picked the item from. So he's looking backward and walking forward. YEP running into people all the time (like a toddler might from not paying attention!). I could also see him standing at a pallet of BF items and instead of getting them in our cart he'd help to pass them out, probably till they were all gone. lol Then looking at me and saying "Oops, sorry Hon". He' such a Great guy and lord knows I wouldn't trade him in for anything BUT... he won't be going with me on BF!!

Oh I have no problem with, bathroom break, getting coffee, taking something (like coffee cup or whatever) back to your car, warming up a bit, it's just the people that weren't there to begin with it the thing that gets me. And if you do go for coffee please don't come back with a few extr friends and expect they will be welcome to cut in line, I don't think so... to the back of the line they go.

LOL Too funny! My hubby can't shake anything at me when I'm walking out the door because he's sleeping and so is everyone else. This year my oldest son is going with me so I feel like a BF virgin! I keep telling him if he falls asleep and doesn't get up before I'm ready-I'm leaving without him.

Don't hold your breath! LOL A friend of mine & I use to order quite a bit from there and every order about 1/2 of it was on Backorder. One time we ordered Summer stuff (like pool floats, pool towels etc.) and didn't get them until they had closed their pool in late Sept.! We ordered them as soon as the catalog came out, I mean the same day she got it. It took months to get our orders and still never got it all. After that we never ordered from them again. One time I ordered a bedspread and sheet set from there and when you held the sheets up you could actually see through them they were so thin. Were they cheap- Yep but come on! lol

Oh I love the Oatmeal and glitter idea! How cute. At first I read the "magic reindeer FOOT" and though WTHeck is that then I kept reading I had to laugh!

LOL I was just going to ask about the same thing. Sounds like from your last couple of posts that you feel you were entitled to the lower amount already, so why ask? -just wondering!

OK now that most of the ads are up I can finally say I'm NOT impressed. Wow I'm finding it hard to be excited anymore for BF this year. I'm almost having to search for things to buy just to give me a reason to go this year. Normally it's not searching for something to buy, but more of which one to buy (color,size etc.) or how many. This is really sad! With each Ad that comes out and it being kind of a let down I've been holding out with hopes of the next one, but then that next one comes out and still not much to get excited over. Hmm Maybe I'm just spoiled from the past years with finding so much to buy. Oh well here in Cleveland we're use to the saying "There's Always Next Year!!" rofl

Onyx- Maybe you could've slipped in front of them! lol I can't stand people that feel they are somehow entitled to it more (or just entitled in life generally) than anyone else standing out there. Yep even if just each person is "holding a place" for one other person it could make a big difference weather you get what you've been standing out in the freezing cold for hours to get...or not. That's why I don't think it's right even if someone says Oh it's only one. What if the One brings a friend that decided to come last minute? Now do they all get to cut or just the one? I guess to each his/her own but I won't do it, I just don't think it's the right thing to do.

I'm sure as soon as they get in their hot little hands it will be posted! Mrs. Honeybee,Brad and Ross are really great about that. I guess we'll have to wait it out! lol I keep checking for the next one to be posted, it's so hard to tear myself away from this darn computer.

A couple of women were arrested for taking those signs. Their husbands gave them the idea to go around collect them for recycling the metal part of the signs. LOL They showed their pickup on the news, it was loaded with signs!! I don't remember what exactly happened to them, this was a couple of years ago but I know it wasn't much, maybe a small fine. But I know alot of people got a good laugh about it because everyone was just happy to see them G O N E ! Only to find out it was 2 housewives acting on a dumb idea from their husbands. Their husbands didn't even go with them, they sent them out while they stayed home.
