RB for Wii came out today. Listing at most places for $159.xx. Once GH aerosmith and the HH for the DS hype dies down, the prices will drop too.....especially when the hype for GH4 starts building up.

They're competing with the GH4 scheduled to come out at the end of the summer. Supposedly this has drums, a bass, guitar and a mic and you can lay own your own tracks as well. Rockband's getting nervous.

Didn't see this advertised in this weeks circular and actually stumbled across this while getting my kid the Jungle Fury Megazord. They had Rockband for the PS2 for $109.00!!! Listed in the store as "This week only!!" They also had Rockband for X-box360 for $139.00!! If it's a dup, then by all means...close the thread with my apologies. If not...hope it helps someone with a Grad Gift idea. That is all.

I paid for the outdoor 10'x12' canopy yesterday for $69.99- but they were sold out and will get more in this coming week. I also got 5 sets of 2pk- solar lights for $7.99. (10 lights for $40.00)

I'm replacing my third Char-Broil after two years! Don't know Jack about The Uniflame, but I'm going with a Weber when I see HD have their blow-out sale. !

I just started and got my first ten. Really haven't checked the prizes, but they can't be as rediculous as the Coke contest where you need 50,000 for a ceramic cat.

I have a blow-up one. it's our third year with it and yea.....it's a pain to set-up and maintain, but look at the other options.....it's either one shown above, a pool membership, which is twice as much or stay indoors.

Three out of the past four times I rented from HV, I was charged late fees for movies when I clearly brought them back within the timeframe. (I usually get two and drop them both off. Make sure I get the five day rentals and always drop them off on day four.) Anyway....the last time I rented was in January, did my usual thing with the returns and just never saw a reason to go back. Anyway, I got a letter from a collections dept last week labled "Final Notice!" billing me $55.00 for not returning Spiderman 3 back in January. I called the store and yes.....they forgot to log it in.....again! And made the corrections. I also cancelled my account there saying that this wasn't the first instance I had with this problem and they obviously had no right sending this out for collections, when they never even called to ask to see if I had the movie. After that I called the collections people and made sure that the slate was wiped clean. No wonder they're going out of business.

My battery actually started melting when I charged it and Sears wouldn't replace it. (Drill was 6 months old at the time) I bought a B & D pack with the drill, flashlight and two batteries and the batteries didn't last a full year. Went to Home Depot and saw that they changed the shape and design of the battery for the B&D so I was SOL again. I ended up with a Bosch Plus system with the Lithium battery and have no complaints. (Going on a year and a half now)

I was thinking about buying the sports add-on package, but opted against it. My kids are hard on toys and we've already had a Wii injury. DD walked in front of DS while playing tennis. Rec'd an overhand shot to the top of the head. (nuthin' an icepack and some motrin couldn't cure.) Save the money for another game since they're priced so high right now.

Just passed K-Mart an hour ago.....signs on the grass by the highway- Everything 75%!!

I usually post threads that get people talking. Sometimes the debates get bad enough, that the mods feel they have to close the threads, and sometimes, if I think they're getting out of hand, I'll ask a mod to close it and ask the ones who have issues with what I posted to PM me about it, where it usually gets resolved in one to two pms. Bottom line, for the most part, we're all adults here and we all have opinions on what a deal is to us. If I see something that's right for my family of 6 and post it, but joeblow69 only has a family of 2, it may not apply to him, big deal. If it doesn't apply to you, why don't you just move to the next thread instead of posting something negative, or just pm the OP your opinions.

Most of those toys have a "Clean Care" label. My wife usually just spot-treats it w soap and warm water when needed and lets it airdry. She usually lysol's the toys in the house once every two weeks after school starts.

We weeded through two playrooms and donated most of the stuff to the hospital where my wife works. (peds hospital) But they're very particular on what they rec due to the demographics. We also gave a few things to the pedaticians/specialists for their waiting rooms and I went and gave a few toys to the barber shop where my boys get their haircut.

I have two of my kids B-Days coming right after the New Year. They go down on the second. Maybe even New years Day if we weren't out the night before.

I had a similiar problem with it. If you turn it over and look on the small propeller at the top, you can see 2 small metal squares. One of my son's fell out after he crashed it the first time. I crazy-glued it and it worked...........until he took it outside and the dog caught it in mid-air and chewed the sh!t ouit of it! word to the wise........keep it away from your animals.
