Man!!!! I caused quite a comotion here!!! LOL!!! I've read most of the posts and want to answer them in 1-2 replies instead of spamming the board with constant replies. I'll be back on later tonight/early tomorrow morning to set a few people straight!!

I've been working in Community Hospitals for the past 17 years. They're not-for-profit and don't give out bonuses, unless you're upper CEO/Management and issue yourself one.

M'eh.......I went and got her what she wanted. I'd rather have my wife smiling at me than shooting daggers because I was being spiteful. I would have spent the same amt of money either way, so that was a wash.

Alright!! I just had to post this because it's too rediculous to believe. I went and did a return last night at TRU on my way to work. Afterwards, I walked a bit and saw they had a promotion with the video-rockers, where you actually get two free if you buy a new game system by Dec 24th. I really didn't get a chance to read over all of it, (I was running late) but I was curious, since I bought a Wii there a month ago and called the store on my way into work. After ten minutes of waiting I get through to the service desk, to be told that she wasn't aware of any such sale. When I told her I was just there, she transferred me to the "R-Zone." The kid who answered said she didn't know of any sale and I told her they had a display about it and she still wasn't aware of it. I told her I had bought the Wii a month ago and she told me that they didn't have any Wii's in stock...sorry! I stopped her again and by now, I could tell she was getting short-temperred with me. I took a breath and told her slowly, that I saw the display for the free chairs and wondered if the product I had bought a month ago, at that store, qualified for the freebies and quick as anything, she said no, it has to be no later than 10 days from the sale and that it was store policy. (kinda ironic that five minutes ago, she knew nothing about the sale.) I thanked her and she simply said "bye", but I didn't hang up and I heard her talking as she hung up saying "God! These 'freekin' people want everything! It's rediculous!" (substitute another F-word for freeking) I immediately tried calling back and got the automated system and lost the call. I tried again and got through to the service desk and asked to be put through to the manager and was left on hold. Now.....I'm not some deadbeat looking for a *DAMN* handout. With 4 kids of my own, I have spent a good deal of $$$ at TRU over the years. But if this is the way they're going to treat people, then I guess someone else will benefit at their loss. I have contacted Corporate with this and will let you know if I hear anything.

WTF!!!!!!! I know I'm a guy and thickheaded as hell, but this is just a bit rediculous. My wife went and re-wrote my darn Christmas List for her!!! I had a list tucked away in my wallet of stuff I though she wanted/needed. She's usually hard to shop for and won't leave anykind of hint for me and I usually have to scramble, but no Lie!! She took the list out, read it and scratched off 4 of the 7 gifts I planned to get her and re-wrote the things she actually wanted. I mean....if I did a stunt like that, she'd be peeved!! I planned to get her a: Criquet Machine (for scrapbooking)- Crossed off and replaced with a GC to a Dayspa. A Silver Bracelet- Crossed off and replaced with a Cucumber/Melon Basket from Bath & Bodyworks. AC Moore GC- Crossed off and replaced with Josh Groban Christmas CD. Birthstone Kid Charms- Crossed off and replace with her MaryKay Reps Phone #. She had a basket waiting for me. Victoria Secret GC- Left Alone New Jacket- Left Alone Lounging Outfit- Left Alone I really don't know ether to be pissed or to give her a high five since I know my gifts will be over this year!!

Post it on You Tube Please!!!!! LOL!!! I did it, but never told my mother. My sis did it and got caught. It happens with kids. Unfortunately it'll happen with my four sooner, rather than later. (My oldest is 7 and has been breaking through locks since he was 2!) I don't know what'll happen when I do catch them, but I know my wife will freak out.

When I saw the title I was going to post the French Toast Recipe!!! LOL!! Sorry!! It's tradition for us every year.

Wife has about 6-7. (Will end up with 8 by next weekend.) 4 kids have between 12-16.

I only get the stuff early if I know or think it's going to be a "HOT" item. This year, I got a Wii in September and both the Rose Petal Cottage and Accessories and a Pat-Pat Rocket right before BF. Everything else that's stashed in my attic, we got on BF.

Wife's doing it next Fri & Sat W/her sisters. They have a huge "cookie exchange" day Everyone brings their speciality batter and they bake them up and share the goods. My kids eat most of them before she brings them home though.

I say you'll top 4000 on Christmas Day with everyone offering well-wishes!!!! You read it here first!!!

Would post a pic of mine, but it's half-neeked due to the fact that my kids can't leave my Hallmark Ornaments alone.

It sucks that you can't put something out to celebrate the holiday w/o someone destroying your fun! I put up the gutter lights and the garland on the porch railings, but not much else since the youth of today can't keep their hands to themselves.

I got Justin Timberlake!!! I hope I can return it!!!

I more or less let my wife do that type of shopping. I won't go out of my way to do a gift for someone I don't like. I can barely afford to buy gifts for the people I do like.

Coffee or Cocoa baskets are nice. You can't go wrong with a meal.....take her to dinner at a new place that you think she'll like.

I'm saying the contests were rigged!!!!!! j/k!! Congrats on winning the contests and I understand that these circumstances come up, but come on....she won it in October and it's on backorder for two whole months. I'd be so pissed that they'd be giving me another year of X-Box live and another 10 titles by the time I was done with them!!! Don't worry about letting your son down. You have it coming and also got hosed in the process. It's not your fault, not to mention he has other gifts to open. I love the idea of getting him a Wii game as well. He can always trade it in for a fresh set of batteries when the X-Box comes.

I don't get the Wal-Mart fliers in my Sunday paper. Hell!! I didn't even get the one for BF! I guess they don't want business.

I got a Wii back in October....believe me. There are "R-Zone" stickers all over that SOB!! If it doesn't work it's getting returned!
