I just got my email, cheap movie for FIL or some other odd relative that I still need to find something for.

Netbooks normally do not have cd/dvd drives. They are basically typewrites/internet devices, that can do some more applications.

My computer is rather High end, with a 850W PSU, 2x 5870 GPU crossfire, 8GB ram, etc, on and on. It also runs DDR2. Why? Because AMD has done a great job of allowing me to use my parts over and just update my CPU with a simple drop in, also DDR3 is not that much faster in 95% of circumstances. This platform will likely be able to accept upgraded CPU's for another year of releases. Given that it currently has a 10xx series processor that is 6core, the next quickest processor he could drop in there is currently $200+, so no need to upgrade it soon. This is a great price, good hardware. Will it possibly need a video card and therefore an upgraded PSU to allow it to reach full potential? Yes. Will it last for quite a while as a quick and usable rig given normal maintenance? Yes. Dont know how anyone can call a 6core processor that is less than a year old outdated..... Sorry, rant over.

3 is nice, do you have 3 devices that currently use only HDMI? It is the best connection, but many things (such as a VCR) cant output at 1080p, so it doesnt matter if you use an HDMI cable on it, or one of the other choices it has.

I have a nice external switch box. It allows you to put up to 4 different lines into it (S-video, PC, Component, composite, cable), and then push a button to switch between them. It takes and connects all of these lines to the TV via one Component Line. For $5 from a yard sale, I dont have to take the TV off the wall to get behind it each time I add, change, or remove a device, and I have more open connection spots. Just an idea for all of you out there.

I dont know, the hot pink just turns me off.

$389 for a 42" or $449 for a 47" for tv's isn't bad...to bad they are refurbs, otherwise I would probably pull the trigger and skip the target line.

I think I only have to pay $15 for my data plan on my smartphone with them...will look at it again though.

Target is 3.99, it is offered elswhere for 7.99 at a few retailers.

I am in the market as well for a new ATT phone, but I am holding out as the best smartphone they have currently is the samsung captivate per all the reviews I read and I hear a lot of talk that just at the turn of the year they are planning to release a number of top end android smartphones. Right now they are focused on the new windows7 phones. I know these are rumors, but I can wait a month to get at worst the same phone on wirelfy.

I live here with those people and even I dont know what they are thinking....It is not like BB has had the best deals for years anyway :) Drove by just to poke fun at them. This was news yesterday for us here.
