The sony line with built in wifi has been great for me, have never had a connection problem, etc. Have a sony BDP s590 and a BDP s790 (this years model equivielent are s3100 and s5100 I believe).

A big one for me is to research the items. A huge example lately is a tablet for some ridiculously cheap price. Once you do research on that tablet, it turns out it can basically run tetris and poorly render a website with pretty poor wifi, and is otherwise a paperweight. There is a reason some things are super super cheap priced, it is because they could not sell them to anyone who took a moment and thought about it. Many people get caught up in the hype and see something that is in a category they want, but dont see if it will actually fit their need.

Just hang air fresheners on the back belt loops of us that have not showered recently like you do to a stinky car.

One reminder with Walmart, go to the store a day or three ahead of time and make sure that store actually has the phone. There was a HTC One my cousin wanted that Walmart had with a $100 GC a few months ago, went and only one store in the area had it, ended up having to drive an extra 30 minutes to get his phone because the 3 nearest ones were sold out a week before the ad even came out.

I still agree with myself I would add that even though it is named a Kindle, the Kindle Fire's fall under the "tablet" category, and the non "Fire" kindles are the e-readers. To answer Tigger, you have almost zero chance finding a store selling a win7 laptop to you for black friday. You may however get a place like buy.com, newegg.com, tigerdirect.com etc to sell you a closeout or refurbished one. Dailysteals.com will often have these as well, but less and less as time goes along. Win7 is a disappearing breed.

Sams club is normally a great choice for black friday phones. The SGS4 is a decent choice, the pictures on my wife's HTC One blows away anything I have seen on Ipone, SGS4, etc when in lower light situations or indoors. 60" display model at SamsClub 1080p, only 2 HDMI and a composite, was only $300 since it was last one and someone had turned the contrast all the way up so that picture looked bad until modified. Keep your eyes open and remeber to check the clearance area each time. Works great in a bedroom where all we need is a bluray player and a cable connection.
