  1. i have this phone and like it for the most part. only wish it had a camera feature. otherwise it's a nice size, good enough sound quality, etc. then again i'm a nokia fan.
  2. nothing wrong with ordering it online. i purchased one off of amazon.com last year. :) free shipping (prime) & tax free! plus you don't have to drive anywhere to get it! (i also have their outdoor misting system for the patio - that was a booger to set up) here's a link for amazon: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw/105-4961259-4599627?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=misty+mate
  3. I ended up going up to a store with a paper coupon and buying the pop-up canopy that way. every time i tried to buy it online it said they didn't have the quantity i specified and so they couldn't add it to my cart (i was only buying 1). called them up on the phone and they said they were oos on the pop-up and they doubted they'd be getting more in as it was seasonal. so on a lark i decided to drive to the local store since we've been searching for a good deal on one of these. when you live in the desert... you need any shade that you can get. thank you for the awesome heads up on this deal!
  4. out of stock. site says it's in stock, but when you call they say it's out of stock.
  5. wait.. by 4/30/08? do you mean 5/30/08?
  6. this might be part of the problem? I might've missed stuff.. it doesn't let you copy and paste.
  7. do you think I'd be able to improvise? maybe I could get 2 of these: http://s7.sears.com/is/image/Sears/00959745000?hei=180&wid=180&op_sharpen=1&qlt=75 and then get a very nice large slab of wood to set across them to form a table... and buy peg board to mount to the garage wall? i don't want to compromise (boblabontefan - you were close, but that station is rather small...) too much on it, because let's be honest - this is his escape from the estrogen in the house. i'm just worried that the storage units will be too short. but i guess i can always not put the wheels on, but instead mount the units onto thick wood blocks (or sit them on cinder blocks) to make them higher.
  8. I was hoping someone here could help me out, because at this point I think I might end up trying to build my own... My dad really wants to turn half of our garage into a work station/tool area. He has one of those tall tool boxes on wheels (and he doesn't care for it too much). He said he wanted one like the one he had in nj.... And I can't find anything like it online. Basically it looked like a storage chest for tools on either side, with a long piece of wood on top (table/work surface), and the back had peg board & shelves. I've tried searching under "workbench", "toolbench" "work station" and "tool station" and I can't find anything suitable. Not only suitable but cost effective. I was hoping to stay under $300. Also was hoping for something that is easy assembly... I'm handy with tools and all, but I'm just a bit.... lazy (I don't like to read the directions). Can someone point me in the right direction? I've tried looking at lowes.com, sears.com, homedepot.com, walmart.com, and target.com...
  9. don't get them laminated. definately have them mounted on foam board - you can do that at a copy shop or any custom framing store. as far as poster frames, they can be found at your independent retailer/franchisee (deck the walls, the great frame up, etc) and also at your craft stores (hobby lobby, michaels, joann's), and sometimes at walmart. keep in mind that often times your craft stores will be having a 50% off all framing sale and/or a coupon for 40-50% off any item. laminating a poster is not your best bet. it can still wrinkle/slink down in the frame when it's laminated. If you mount them on foam board you can even get the plastic adhesive hooks on the back of the foam and hang them on the wall that way rather than framing them. if you do go with a poster frame, make sure that the moulding (frame) itself is durable enough to support the weight of the glass. Unless you are using an acrylic then it's rather lightweight so you should have no worries. Avoid using plexiglass (not the same as acrylic!) any other q's post up. my father owned The Great Frame Up for a long time, and up until recently I worked for a major art glass/glazing manufacturer.
  10. today - picked up multiple purse styles for $2.48 & $3.48. For whatever reason they were over with the socks/hosiery. also picked up the disney/pirates of the caribbean dried raisin & cranberry snacks for $1.60 (normally $3.89). It's a 6-pack seer-sucker toddler dress and also some toddler shorts - both $2.98 each 4 photo albums, 2 brown leather, two red w/dragonfly embroidery - each for $5.88 Multiple cans of food - target brand and name brand $0.48 - $0.68/can plus I had coupons for the name brands. Which is great because they're having a food drive here tomorrow. Purchased 4 big shopping bags of canned food and spent around $7 after coupons just on that. target brand organic salsas - mild, medium, and hot all $1.24 kraft macaroni & cheese - $0.48/box tons of fancy chocolates for just $0.28 - $1.88 box
  11. gee... think they want our rebate checks? :-D
  12. voted. looks like you've got it in the bag. at 5000+ votes, your closest competitor has 1222, after that one with 0126, and then the rest are 10 and under. congrats!
  13. is it a paper coupon? maybe give it to someone who can use it in store? or heck, someone can still use it online. :) a coupon is a coupon - no such thing is a bad one unless it's expired.
  14. or you can use CAT805A it's the same discount, but not a one time use.
  15. www.disneyshopping.com or www.disneystore.com there's different merch at each location. you can use the coupon at both, but NOT at disneyoutlet.com to be honest, you can almost never use coupons at the outlet.
  16. gee whillikers. they've enough coupon codes for this sale! i'm just going to paste this all in, as i'm too lazy to retype.
  17. afrey - pm me and i can email you a copy of a coupon. the coupon above is the same 'special discount' that michaels gave out to our company.
  18. voted 5 stars.. on a side note - is that an amy coe/target onesie? dd had the same one (and her mommy refuses to get rid of it)

  20. Kim I will keep an eye out. Shouldn't be too hard to find superbowl apparel out here, since we hosted it. :)
  21. Kroger=fry's - right? I've one of those not too far away, maybe 35 minutes at most. I'll have to swing up there and see if they're having that sale as well. It'd be worth checking out as every penny counts.
  22. Were you looking for any specific items? Our wal-mart here in AZ carries a bunch of Giants gear (as well as just about every other ny team). I'll take a look if you'd like, and get back to you with what the stuff costs. I know it's not jcp quality...
  23. I'm not sure if the doorbusters are just in store.. my impression from the website and the circular (i've the hard copy) is that you'd be able to get it online too. the coupons - those have no code listed on them for online, but when i talked to the CS agent, she said they might be emailing JCP customers with an online code tomorrow morning. If I get it I'll definately post it up. i know it's an extra 10% off the sale prices though on saturday morning. sorry I couldn't be more of a help
  24. Is anyone else struggling to find online deals right now? I really thought with mother's day being next month that there'd be some more hot deals going on. I almost feel like the well is drying up, and the only deals I'm finding are disney or toy related. And let's be honest, my daughter just doesn't need that many toys. But her mommy could use a few gadgets as well as clothes that fit... Sorry. bit of a rant. This might belong in the lounge, not sure but I figured since I was talking deal finding... I'm also struggling with the brick and mortar stores - they're all advertising these great sales - but I swear the sale prices aren't too far from the regular prices. I talked to the general manager at one grocery store and he said that's because the prices are going up this month. For example, all diapers seem to have gone up a $1/per pack etc. Anyone have any pointers on where I should be looking? Is April just a dry month for deals & sales?
