I keep an internet connection to do the early price matches, so i lose out on absolutely nothing. Giving others your intended arrival time is an invitation to an ever escalating "time of arrival" war. However well intentioned some may be, it is foolish to speculate when you are potentially going to give someone that lives in your area the ammunition they need to beat you there every time.

I find that the first 50 or so fare pretty well. It is the jokers around the side that come late and cause a lot of trouble, expecting the line to stay constant, wanting everything for a 1 hour investment, etc.

After seeing exactly how Walmart is going to run things, all of the people with a problem with selling tickets need to go where their sense of fair play is now well established, Walmart!!!! Thank you Walmart for ending this argument, and for giving people who only want one item and likewise for others a place to go for black Friday. Call it what you will, the decision to augment the advertisement has already been approved. You will just have to wait to find out what those items will be. I never divulge where or when i will show up, but if you see a bat signal on the side of a best buy building you may as well head to another one.

Whatever you can buy before online is a great thing, that is why i bring a laptop with me, and prefer a Wifi hotspot close by. This year i will have a 9dbi antenna to bring in a stronger signal.

Things are about to change, so have a little faith and watch the website for information which might change your rather bleak forecast.

They are making people line up outside for ticketed items, depending upon geographical location, weather, etc...

I talked to the store manager and it will be impossible to get more than one ticketed item. All sale items will also be wrapped, so you cannot buy them earlier than the prescribed time. This is an unacceptable situation in my book. I would have to bring at least 20 people to get what i could get at Best Buy.

I can tell you that equal numbers rush to movies and games as well, because the front people have the big ticket items already covered. I am usually first, and have a hard time when they hide blurays in bins mixed with regular dvds!

Which means that you will have to bring friends and family to make this thing work.

That is your experience, but others have troubles with the brand. We have two 42" at church, going strong, but mine went south.

You will have to wait for the ad to find out. Most of the time they will not indicate it, as in the case of best buy, which normally does not promote upselling generic models, even though they might stream netflix.

Thank you for going to great length to prove my point! If you think that Celeron computers are the Bees Knees, than you have my sympathy! (Meant for everyone)Stop shopping the internet and get up, put some clothes on, and get out there and check the actual store pricing, and check for differences between the same brands, models, etc. It isn't a shocker that some deals will be found outside of Black Friday. EMachines also has the lowest reliability rating and return rate in the business. These throwaway computers were part of the reason that best Buy changed they way that they do business. I see fewer students out here now, and i am happier for it, because they will not be buying a piece of junk which will clunk out on them.

Just think how mad a line mate would be if I gave a ticket away to someone else who just arrived, and that meant he could not get it, after thinking I was going to use it. Making late arrivals pay for items that they did not wait for can have it's place, but common sense and discretion will rule the day and keep you safe.

Not much difference! The climate is relatively the same down there, but as for value, I guess you missed the point.
