Hey Brad! You look more like the king of walmart! :)
-
I got the drill set last year, during the vote contest. Amazon is also doing a coinstar promotion. Bring in (to a participating coinstar machine location) at least $30 in coins, and get free counting, select Amazon e-card, and get an additional $10 gift certificate by mail. I just did this today. They are doing this through the 4th of november.

Wii games are obviously not on sale,,,,,,,,,,

that brand is reported to have a high return rate, according to a manager at circuit city.

Hey, which best buy? (Jax) I would like to meet up. We always bring a couple of people with us, and we also bring goodies!
-
My best buy told me that they are going to restrict tickets to one of each, per person, per address. This will make it actually easier to sell the ones that you might have otherwise bought yourself. We bought three of the mp3 players last year, so this year we can only buy one under the new rules. It will now be imperative that you bring a shopping buddy with you to ensure that multiple purchases of the same item are possible. Another member said that they are going to check drivers licenses, so do not give them your DL, they have no right to ask for it as verification. If the ad does not directly ask for verification, you do not have to provide it. Last year, they treated everyone as an individual, instead of a "penalized because you are a family member" shopper. The coffee pitch is a good one. Down here, you can make a pretty penny off of boiled peanuts!

I was in a couple of walmarts this weekend, and saw plenty of trash on the floors.

You will be visited by Garth Brooks, the official walmart "heavy":gdparanoid: real soon...............
-
That is exactly why walgreens and cvs do so well, for they sell tissues for the issues, and mouthwash for the potty mouth.
-
This reminds me why compusa failed so miserably last year. The ads looked good, but in reality, the total cost out of pocket was far too great with the multitude of rebates that you had to endure.

Did he look like a hamster dressed in a karate uniform?

Don't count out Home Depot or Lowes!
-
The $200 Westinghouse monitors were there. They had some in stock. It depends upon the store and detective work in the weeks prior to BF.
-
Are there any tarriffs on goods brought back to Canada , or is there a dollar limit that must be surpassed to rate one?
-
What location was this? I would hope to avoid that one! Does anyone know where their corporate policy is located in regard to limitations? Last year we had a young associate try to limit the ad to one ticketed item per person! It didn't fly. He almost had a riot on his hands and had to make a hasty retreat!
-
If a price adjustment occurred, you were extremely lucky. Most Best Buy locations will not price adjust their own merchandise if it is a door buster.
-
The items were not improbable, but the wait time was relatively short!:)
-
Contrary to popular belief, I am not a Garth hater. Enough is enough on the walmart specials though! Another fun thing to do might be a, "Fun things to do or make out of a Garth Brooks CD" thread.

Shocker: HDTV price wars headed for Black Friday http://www.engadgethd.com/2007/10/23/shocker-hdtv-price-wars-headed-for-black-friday/ It's not like this type of activity doesn't happen every day-after-Thanksgiving here in the US of A, but 2007 is being seen as a banner year for "aggressive pricing" come Black Friday. As expected, competition will likely be most heated in the 40- to 42-inch range, where plasma and LCD manufacturers will both be vying for business from eager consumers. Furthermore, RPTVs and 720p sets in general are expected to sport rock-bottom pricetags as they attempt to compete with the fresher, more attractive 1080p flat-panels. As for pricing, analysts expect the lowest stickers to be found on Olevia, Westinghouse and Vizio sets, while other "top-tier brands" slash hundreds off in an attempt to still look appealing. Whatever the case, we'd suggest you gear up for madness if you're scouting a new HDTV on Black Friday, but apparently, the savings will make the mayhem worth dealing with.

Painful memories....................

I had also posted it, since the article was suspiciously posted on CNN around the same time as their infamous lawsuit threat.
