Where are Shopkos' located, and has anyone ever received a freebie from Meijers?

The other BF site ran with it like it was gospel, even though the ad prices had radio buttons which indicated that they could fluctuate like many sales items do on the actual day of sale.

If they permanently closed, it would be better, but any store that respects the holiday at least is doing one thing right.

My guess is that a lot of the rudeness comes from people who normally shop online through slick deals but felt compelled to come out to shop and don't know how to conduct themselves in the real world.

The retailers do need to play the game smarter. We have seen all too many deals online that keep people at home. As you have indicated, they should offer different items online than they do in the stores to drive up business on both ends. The way that it is currently run, you would think that they want to run the brick and mortar component out of business.

I got a hot rumor that they (HF) will be leaking it on the 11th.

When I get to laugh at the Sears Canada Black Friday ad realizing that it has to be better than it is for Canada! You can definitely blame Amazon for that Lead Zeppelin!

That would be a great gag gift here in Florida!

Take stock of what you have, what you need to replace, and even what your friends and relatives need. I have used this method to keep myself from getting jaded about the upcoming shopping season. I tend to not fall into the category of those who think that the discounts and deals are not as steep. I believe that most of us are savvy enough throughout the year to snag discounts online so it is easier to make the assumption than those who wait until Black Friday.

They shouldn't count. They let it out themselves, no drama there. Brad, let the contest continue with a real entrant whose leak might cause a letter from a lawyer to roll in, or at least to have come in from a third party.

Sounds like a good idea Brad. I want to test it out on the road as well. There might be a little fun involved when on best buy property a month early with a small tent, it is only a stunt, yet let people believe I am seriously camping out.

Skype is very easy to install and use. I am hoping that I can get the first six to sign up and test the viability.

That should be shirt worthy as usual.

From 2009 on, i have used ATM/DEBIT cards and cash. Someone had mentioned that you need to call your financial institution and let them know that you will be needing the full limit on that day, so you won't make the fatal error of getting denied after the first purchase. Sometimes runnig purchases as credit also works. I take two cards and inform the bank and bring backup cash as well.

That is why I suggested a meetup on Skype if it doesn't develop into a full blown show.
