I couldn't stay to look at everything, but they were marking a bunch of tools 75% in hardware today. They also told me that they had done domestics, but I didn't go look.

they are also on clearance at some Targets for 50-75% off along with some others like ant bully. these games really are pretty lousy. that is why they are on sale.

Does that mean no more use the driver's license once a year thing? It is still okay as long as you paid by credit card and they can look it up? I'll ask about it, but just curious what they said. I know that TRU similarly changed their policy a while back. I can't really blame them with all the fraud out there.

Basically they are resetting the departments. They have them all on cycles so that they are off from each other. Toys gets reset in July/August for Christmas and again in January/February after Christmas. They do their major clearances when they are getting ready to reset. That is why we have had so many great deals in some of the departments recently. Toys, Baby, Sporting Goods, Bedding, Office Supplies/Crafts, etc. They have been reset with new merchandise. They also do "transitions" between seasons/holidays and those sets of merchandise get clearanced in between. 6 months sounds about right.

It is based on state law. In California they sell wine though I can't recall ever having seen beer. Some states limit alcohol sales to liquor stores exclusively.

I got a Lego Batmobile Ultimate Collectors' Set for 50% off - $34.98 down from $69.99. I also saw that they marked down some of the Disney Cars toys - Mack Truck Playset and the plush character pillows were 30% off. I just used my $5 off a $75 purchase on some regular stuff today. Then I got another Target catalog in today's mail with a $10 off $100 purchase! I don't even have a Red Card, but I guess I get it because I order online.

Disney Cars MixStick 30% off moved to an endcap in electronics. Just stacked on the shelf, not hung up. These were not marked down with the last round - I checked then.

I have only seen them on sale at the 2 smaller stores in my area. The larger stores still have them full price.

Got some Flintstones vitamins today. Only 30% off, but they were bonus packs with 100 instead of the usual 60, plus I had 2 - $1 off coupons, so a very good deal. I also got a Target catalog in today's mail with a $5 off a $75 purchase stuck to the back. Oh yeah! Gonna use that!!

It all depends on the local store. Big Lots gets a lot of Target merchandise as well. Locally they told me it goes to Salvation Army. And, obviously, from our previous discussion of liquidation.com, some stores sell to a liquidator who puts it there. Some stores salavaged these, and others took them to 75%. I got one mix stick for DH to use while exercising, but had hoped to get one for DS for his bday. No luck. The first store only had HS Musical so I waited and got burned. Oh well.

I think I must be amazingly blessed. I have 2 boys - almost 4 & 6, and they LOVE to go to Target. It helps that they know that they will in ALWAYS get to go to the toy department. My boys actually ASK me to go to Target. Sometimes they have been known to ask to go to a second Target in the same day!!! They have even been known to cry when told that we have to go home instead of going to Target. This is one characteristic that leads DH to say: "they really are YOUR children!"

pretty sure that is right, but interestingly they cleared out the exact same stuff this time last year. I still have some left over from DS bday last year when I bought it.

If it were recalled, Target would have pulled it. It would have come up as recalled when you tried to pay. That has happened to me before. While you are right about some recalls being over-zealous, some are quite serious like the Polly Pocket Quik Clik one from a few months ago. A few children died and some were seriously injured.

that has been mentioned before. It has been going on for such a long time, that I am surprised as well. But if they do it, I'm sure as heck going to take advantage. Could be that it is better to take the small loss than leave the shelf space empty? Just a thought.

they are 10 packs of Minute Maid juice. Pretty much any flavor except orange. The shelf tags don't give the $.69 price, you have to scan them. If you are seeing 15 packs, then move them around to see if you can find any 10s on the shelf. Sometimes they are in the back, behind the 15s. They are very sporadically put out, so you have to keep checking. Several people on here thought they simply didn't have them in their area because they hadn't seen them over the course of weeks. But then suddenly they are there one day.

I don't know about your area, but in our area, the time to look for them is when the 15 packs are close to running out. Around here they seem to put the 10 packs out when the 15s are gone and they have no more in the back. So, if you are able to go frequently, check back the day after they seem like they are running out. I don't know if that helps, but I have found 18 packages this way. I have been buying them for the school fundraiser. They are being used with the kid's meals being sold.

Pretty sure you are right. I was expecting some of the kids craft stuff to go last week, but it didn't, so I think a bunch of stuff will go this week. They aren't all on the same schedule though. At our stores, we have some stuff at 30% and some at 50% in the same departments.

Well, I am excited to report that one store had the Disney Mix Stick at 75% off finally. I got the orange HS Musical one for DH to use while he exercises. I wanted one for DS for his birthday, but he would not want that one. So, I hot footed it over to the other local store where I have been watching them and they had a cart full and told me they were salvage!!!! Man! I was so ticked! I ended up getting DS a Memorex MP3 player that has the same amount of memory, etc. for $15.04, also just marked down today. It has a built in radio as well. Just not the one I wanted for him.

I forgot to mention earlier that the Iams cat food that is on sale (20 pound bags) are not at 50% off - $9.98 now. I also saw some bags of Large Breed Dog Food in the pile, though I didn't look at the price of those.

That is so funny. I have so often wondered if certain shoppers in Pasadena were also on this site. I have recommended it to a few people. I keep telling moms about the juice deal since I can't use all I find. I even promised one cashier that I would give some to another cashier for her if I found it in the morning. I had so much that I took 18 packs to the preschool for the silent auction. They needed it for the children's meals that are being served.:)

Just an FYI, almost all the Tide I have seen on clearance has been for the HE machines. They also have Cheer liquid on clearance. I had to pop back out to get a gift at Target, and saw they had Swiffer cloths on clearance but only 30% or so. However, they also had some of the Swiffer Wet kits with the handle in it, and those rang up $0 so I got one for $2.48. Needed a new one for DS to use to clean the kitchen.

Really nice large wicker baskets are now 75% off. I found them on the end caps in the "decor" area near the framed prints. $3.74 each and quite large. I picked up 5 for our Preschool to use. They were ecstatic. They also had a few of the toys marked 75% today including the large baby bratz dolls that were on sale. Also, those rolling Rubbermaid containers with kids characters on them were $2.48. I saw Dora & Diego. I know they also came in Spiderman and Disney Princess. Not many left anywhere, but a great deal if you can find them. They are in toys.
