  1. Mens, boys and toddler swim trunks were on sale at our store already. Not all of them, but several designs. 50% off.
  2. I agree. If something like that happens again, I would take a name and description and first ask for a manager of up front, then call corporate. Actually, the AP people who are in red shirts don't wear name tags that I have ever seen. I had the experience with the nasty guy I described earlier. He never has a name tag. And, one day when I was looking for a manager to complain that one of those Eddie Bauer Horseshoes sets fell of a top shelf and nearly hit DS, I asked a guy if he was a manager and he turned out to be AP. He also was without a name tag.
  3. Ours had them as well, but you can buy Tide, Downy, Bounty, Charmin or Iams Dog Food if I remember everything correctly. They were similar to the online ones that someone sent the link to recently, but with a lower minimum spend.
  4. I have. I was going through an end cap in toys and ended up rearranging them all as I was trying to see what was there and if anything was stuck in behind the other toys. This nasty security guy, not a uniformed one, came along and rearranged it after I was done. He told me he didn't trust me because I was always doing this and that he would personally follow me around the store! He hasn't done it, but he sure was ridiculously nasty. Really pretty bizarre. If I were you, I would probably have confronted the guy and asked him why he was following me around and didn't he have something better to do with his time. It is so weird what they decide to obsess about with regard to shoppers.
  5. No problem with it from my perspective. I have done it myself, and will do it again. I buy for my family. I buy for friends who know that I shop like this. I buy for my kid's schools, etc. Sometimes I am the lucky one who finds all the goodies. Sometimes someone else beats me to them. It is luck of the draw and as someone else said, the early bird gets the worm. Everyone has their own lines that they draw. Some people hide things, others find that reprehensible. Some people use expired coupons knowing that they are expired, while others find that to be like stealing or lying. I guess we just have to work through the issues individually and move on. That said, Easter is STILL not at 90%! I guess they'll do it tomorrow. Still a handful of things at one of my Target stores that I want, so I will keep checking.
  6. Yes. It has happened when I have been at the store. I check an item, it is 75%, I check another item a few minutes later and it is 90% off.
  7. Just to be clear, I don't think that any of the stores are "supposed" to take expired coupons. They will never tell you that they will. Those who are using them simply try to use them and if they work they work and if they don't they don't.
  8. Dollar Spot was at 75% today - blue dots only. Easter still at 75% here in Pasadena. Please let me know if it is 90% anywhere else! One store has some things still that I'll only get if they are there at 90.
  9. Found Dora & Diego Playhut Play Around Houses and also the Playhut blow up ball houses (also Dora & Diego) at 50% today.
  10. Don't know if anyone on here has bought the Trutech TVs, but I have to make a comment. They had those large flat screens on sale for the after Tday sale. People stood in long lines and waited forever. Then, after Christmas I saw at least 6 of them being returned by irate customers who were furious about the fact that they were junk. I also overheard an employee telling a customer that they had at least a 50% higher return rate than any of the other brands they sell. (at least he was honest with the poor guy)
  11. Thanks!! We have been going through Claritin like crazy this year! All of us seem to be suffering terribly from this allergy season!
  12. I am going to be in Indianapolis early next week. Can any of the Indy folks tell me whether or not the Eagle Creek store on 38th is worth taking the time to stop? Thanks!
  13. oh, did everyone get the notice that this week's sale ad will be online only? no ad in the sunday paper.
  14. you can return them if you haven't opened them.
  15. Some news on the light bulbs with gift cards. I kept noticing that several of them didn't seem to have been tampered with, nor did they have any cards in them. No white. No red. Well, I needed 60 watt bulbs, which are hard to see where the cards are anyway, and the pack I bought didn't appear to have any cards in it at all. When I opened it, the $1 coupon card was behind the front promo wrapper. So, in addition to being between the bulbs, you might find them down the front of the packs. You can find the value of the gift card on the back top right corner. It says something like You have won a $X Target Gift Card. If it is worth more than $25, you apparently have to call to get it sent to you.
  16. oh they go on clearance, they just get snatched up quickly. I went back and found them! Thanks for the tip!!
  17. Nah...I haven't ever seen them do that. I would be pretty surprised.
  18. Saw, but did not buy, 5 of the MM apple juice packs in Alhambra CA. Just didn't need any more. I am loaded with juice for a while. Of the 5 stores I visited today (youngest DS finally back in school after several days sick, so I treated myself ) only one had marked the clearance toys to 75%. Fortunately that store had some Geotrax Track and a Playmobil set I wanted marked that low. Nothing else to report.
  19. Both, but not all. I know that seems contradictory, but basically they are on sale for $.50 at some regular Targets. We don't have Supertargets here in the Los Angeles region, but I found them at one of our local stores. Two others did not have them. Basically, if they have the Market Pantry name on them and are the size Large (not extra large), then they are probably $.50. The other brand names are %0ff instead.
  20. All ours at 3 different stores appear to have been gone through already. Most had the plastic wrapping torn already. No gift cards. Bummer.
  21. I kinda doubt it. At least in the short term. The whole point is to get more people into the store and trying their store brands, and I think the clipless thing is probably only going to red card holders. I certainly didn't get one. Of course they may still be test marketing it in specific areas for now. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
  22. Well, I went to a different store here in town and they DID have the $.50 eggs. This store is also not a SuperTarget (we don't have one within 100 miles), but it does have a larger food section. They were the Market Pantry Branded boxes and they were the Large not the Extra Large. Hope that helps.
  23. Here in Pasadena they are "on sale" for $2.33 a dozen, not $.50. Which is actually about the regular supermarket price, and more than I pay at Smart & Final for 18 eggs.
  24. Ooh! I often forget to check the coupons. I just looked for this one, and realized they have an M&Ms coupon that expires well after Easter. So, for those of you who will be stocking up on the after Easter deals, you might want to print this off.
  25. Today I got 2-14 pound bags of Iams cat food for $4.98. But the big score was the Stanley pressure washer I got! It was orginally $119.99 and apparently cleared out a few months ago (this I discovered after coming home). It rang up Item Not Found at the scanner, so I asked a clearance lady to check it. She couldn't find a price. I asked another employee to scan it using the NOF function on his PDT, and he couldnt' find it. So, I went ahead to the register and told the lady about it. She said that it was probably salvaged, but I said there were 2 on the shelf, which was true, and that I hadn't seen them before that. They all know I am their almost daily. So, she asked her manager about it, and she said give it to her for $9.99!!! Whoopee! If anyone is in the Pasadena CA area, there is another one at the 2 story store (the old Robinson's May).
