  1. I used paypal... mainly because I had a couple buck sitting there not doing anything anyway.
  2. Thanks... That's TJ - Lab / Hound mix... aka Mr Oblivious - he has no clue when he's stepping on you or anything else going on around him. That photo will be in this week's Photowow contest...
  3. Stolen from another site... Car & Driver - 1 year subscription $2.97! Go to http://www.netmagazines.com/product.asp?pID=110170 Netmagazine Price : $11.97 Enter Coupon Code DCMPS9 at checkout and get $9 off... They accept paypal too!
  4. The rates are changing!! No more lifetime subs. Goes into effect this week I think. Edit -- Yep! "Next week" IS THIS WEEK... So if you're going to jump do so now. But I'd call first to be absolutely sure you can get the lifetime sub first if that's what you want.
  5. Doesn't Sirius also have the NFL?
  6. I know the local Wal-Mart has some of the receivers on clearance DIRT CHEAP... I saw one receiver portable with car mount included was like $149 now $35. I almost bought it. I just don't know about the monthly fees though. Mrs L just came back from N.O. via AirTran. Wonder if she had this on her flight. If I got buy in from her, then it'd be ok. I would have to do both vehicles but then we'd get a discount on the second monthly $... No, I'm not trying to justify spending $ on a new toy. Why? :)
  7. Yep ... I've gotten a couple of issues of PCW now, and got the email this morning as well. I don't know if they're going to stop the PCW from coming - my address label says it expires Feb 07. But I selected one of the others anyway just in case.
  8. I guess I could bring it to the office, but not sure how the boss would feel about that.
  9. I want!!! But where could I put it that Mrs. Labgeek doesn't kill me?
  10. LOL, here's a few spare commas for you.->>> ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, When I started reading the above I got to "I couldn't go because my car decided to break down on top of my two youngest" and it hit me that maybe I might be reading it wrong.
  11. "while supplies last"??? Huh? It's for pancakes at the "international house of PANCAKES". At that point shouldn't they just close and lock the door?
  12. Could that be http://www.zappos.com 'cause the one you sent me made our proxy server barf with the dreaded "adult content filtered" message.
  13. Other than it being TD which many people have had problems with (I have not), I don't see much. There is one thing I'd look into 1st though. Intel has released the 805D chip. A dual core chip that Mwave is selling for $134.50 + shipping. It's a LGA775 chip so you could upgrade down the line - I didn't see where it said what the socket for the TD deal was (but didn't look to hard either).
  14. You've gotta love marketings... 75% + 40% sounds like a lot doesn't it... Why not say 85% off... same thing.
  15. Any lawn tractor should be able to handle that. So it's going to come down to what features you want (like zero turning radius), brand preference, and price.
  16. Home Depot Sale on Lawn Tractors Sale + $55 shipping... don't know much else. It just showed up in my email.
  17. New 60% code - through 2/28 = 46202 Now my question is why doesn't the "knuckle trick" work with leap years? As I remember it knuckles = months with 31 days. So February still doesn't have 31 days, and January and March still do... Works the way I remember it.
  18. You can spend anywhere from $500 to well over $5000 on a "lawn tractor" depending on what you need. It all depends on what you need or want. A lot of it depends on what you're doing with it. Low end are pretty much just riding mowers made for yards. From there you can get bigger engines, diesel engines, bigger decks, PTOs (power take offs) for accessories, sun shades, etc. How big of a place you trying to cut? Lawn Tractor or Garden Tractor or miniture "real" tractor? Need anything like blade on the front or snow blower now or possibly later? End a fairly low end Murray can last years for a medium sized yard. But if you get into large yards or anything with acreage, you might look at jumping up. Depending on the size, start looking for larger horsepower units. Or if you have multiple acres, I'd like something like a Kubota G Garden tractor - basically a small version of a real tractor - complete with available 3 point hitch, and PTO.
  19. None of the stores I worked at while I was in college was dead... Heck on Saturdays, we'd have 4 or 5 people working and a line waiting to check out. And I was always at some of the smaller stores...

  21. http://cart.half.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?TakeFive It's hard to find, but apparently the referral program is still out there. I can send you one if you need. PM me email address if you want one.
  22. Given that they'll give you the equipment for up to 4 rooms what's the point in buying? When I had 2 houses, they would not allow the other house to have equipment on the same account. 1 account = 1 physical location. All they would do would be to suspend 1 account and activate the other with a phone call if it was a vacation house. Unless you weren't planning on telling them that it was another locale... and not planning on hooking it up to a phone line either.
  23. Why wouldn't this be in Deal Finder instead?
