  1. Can't answer about mos of these... But can speak to the niceness of the people. I've "known" RossMan for a while from another forums and always found him to be most knowledgible and helpful.
  2. And lose a lot of "good will" for both those that do and don't... People don't like pricing errors, unless it's in thier favor. Take any of the FW and AT threads about people going to sue when a big one happens. One time when I ran the toy store during my college days, I had a cashier call me about a stuffed animal she knew was priced wrong. I went up, and a $100+ animal had a $19.99 sticker on it. We staple the prices to the loop tags so they wouldn't fall off and this one was obviously removed and replaced. The "customer" was screaming and arms flailing about... "We have to sell it at that." and such garbage (btw, no we don't...) I took them to the back, backed up the tape from that aisle's camera and had them arrested when it showed them "re-pricing" the toy - theft by fraud.
  3. Thanks... going to bb today at lunch for a power supply (can't wait for an online order b/c I want to build the new system with weekend). Going to do this while I'm there.
  4. Cool looking Eco-Drive Not exactly your < $100 but probably as close as you'll ge for an eco drive.
  5. I looked at this about a week ago. Or one like it... just make sure you keep something in your list or you will get charged for the month and not sent anything. At least that's the way the terms I read were.
  6. What about this one: http://www.overstock.com/cgi-bin/d2.cgi?page=proframe&prod_id=1138395 Don't forget about the 10% off or 10 off 75 coupon links in the coupon section.
  7. Well I didn't and there's 2 near me (within an hour). One has a couple thousand members. Cool... thanks!
  8. Well going through the customer appreciate page, and selecting "networking products" it's the top item in the list. I don't know what the problem is. I told someone else here about it, and they couldn't either. Think I'm going to place the order, and then email customer service for the 5% off. Edit - I did get $1 promotional discount (leftover from burgerking maybe) and the a9.com discount. Item(s) Subtotal: $54.99 Shipping & Handling: $6.76 Super Saver Discount: $-6.76 Promotional Certificate: $-1.00 ----- Total Before Tax: $53.99 Estimated Tax: $0.00 Total: $53.99 Estimated Instant Reward: $-0.85 ----- Grand Total: $53.14 I emailed them, hopefully csr will fix it and deduct the 2.75 off of there too. $53.14 - 2.75 (fix hopefully) - $15 MIR = $35.39 net Edit2 - They emailed back... They issued a 2.75 refund to the credit card I used.
  9. Is this working for others?? I get " Important Message We're sorry, but the promotional code you entered cannot be applied to this purchase. Please refer to your promotional coupon for information about item or store restrictions. " when trying to enter the promo code to get the extar 5% off.
  10. Best Buy - I want to know what to spend my McBucks on.
  11. I've seen some pretty decent deals on fragrance.net - a lot better than in most major anchors in the malls anyway. Just be sure to either want the barrage of email from them or use a throw-away email address. Best I got was a "gift pack" that we saw in a large dept store for $125 (full retail price - no sales, nothing!). She said how much of a nice present it would make. I went home and they had it on sale for $32.50... Same package, same volumes! The package came in a little scuffed up on the plastic outercase but she could care less about such things. The other parts are long gone now, but I think she still has some of the perfume left - it was a pretty decent sized bottle. Edit - just checked, they have it: fragrances Item # Description Retail Our Price 124478 EDT SPRAY .5 OZ $15.00 $9.19 117766 EDT SPRAY .85 OZ $25.00 $12.50 124972 EDT SPRAY 1.5 OZ $35.00 $21.89 126007 EDT SPRAY 2.5 OZ $45.00 $30.09 121786 PARFUM .12 OZ MINI $20.00 $7.39 117718 PERFUME .25 OZ $70.00 $39.89 bath & body 124904 BODY LOTION 6.8 OZ $35.00 $17.09 123175 BODY POWDER 2.6 OZ $26.50 $12.49 119630 BODY POWDER 5 OZ $35.00 $19.25 118443 SHOWER GEL 6.8 OZ$25.00 $11.25 gift set 119321 EDT SPRAY 2.5 OZ & BODY POWDER 2.6 OZ & PARFUM.12 OZ MINI $65.00 $35.59
  12. target.com has a few items too... and don't forget about the 10% off through the coupons section up near the top.
  13. Buy.com has 3 pak of NAV free after rebate (or make 4.20 if you get the 6% off coupon -- can I post URL that here??). You should qualify for the $20 upgrade rebate since you had NAV already. Search for "10280941" at buy.com -- I can't post URLs here yet. They also have a deal on Norton Systemworks 2006. You'll get a little more out of it - NAV plus Norton Utils, and Goback. For $61.99 - $20MIR - $3.72 6% off coupon = $38.27. Search for "10431721" (can't post URLs sorry)
  14. Watches are pretty subjective... What may be "badass" to you won't be to others. For < $100 you're going to be pretty limited on the name brands. That's not to say you won't be able to find some though. Watch Zales.com - right now there's a coupon code ($50 off) out there (not sure if I can post it here) and they're always putting watches on sale. And yes the coupon code stacks with the sale price. There's a quartz version in stainless that mirrors the look of one of their Eco-drives that with coupon was $79 or $89. It's now OOS though. If you see an Eco-Drive or Seiko Kinetic in your price range, that's a very good deal. Just realize that may not be a US model. They may or may not help you with repairs or even with parts. It seems to depend on what CS rep you get when you call. If you're not going to wear it regularly, a kinetic can develop problems. Personally, I prefer true mechanical watches, but regularly wear kinetics, eco-drives, and perpetuals (auto-winding). I have some, but rarely wear quartz movements. But that's just a personal preference. If you find something you like and want an opinion on it, send me a msg.
